    This was my second time at Cibo Yorkville within a week. It’s close to my office so it’s convenient for a quick lunch. I was very disappointed with the minestrone last week. It was not worthy to be called minestrone. It was a ladle of vegetable broth with some celery and carrots. My expectations this time were not high. I had the polenta fries, which were good and consistent to how they always are. The chicken pesto panino with salad was also good and the panino was a generous size. I’d say overall that Cibo Yorkville can be hit and miss. Stay away from the minestrone if you know what real minestrone is.

    Fantastic dining experience. The staff was well-versed in gluten free dining and the options were outstanding. Our meal was fantastic - hard to choose just one appetizer. Highly recommend

    The meal felt very rushed. Appetizers and mains were at the table out within a couple of minutes of ordering. We barely had had our first sip of wine before food landed. Conversely the service was rather inattentive. we had to flag our server down to ask for water, and then we had to ask for a water refill. we might have ordered a second glass of wine if anyone had checked in during the meal. The food itself was impressive and delicious but it wasn’t the best expereince.

    It was cold outside and cold also at our table. Our server was excellent…attentive and intuitive and prompt. Unfortunately the pizza we ordered was plain…really nothing special. The dough crust seemed to be prepared well in advance and the taste was also plain. Too bad. We chose not to have desserts because we couldn’t trust it would be good so we went somewhere else. We won’t give up on Cibo but we’ll think twice. Thanks

    Everything about our lunch Coco was outstanding. It wasn't;t a weekend but I was delighted to find a brunch menu in addition to the regular lunch menu offered to us at noon when we visited. The selections were various and wonderful. It was so hard to choose. My daughter and I share d the octopus salad because it's so good I can never visit Cibo without selecting it although I want to try other things. Then my daughter ordered the tuna salad and I had the beet salad. Both dishes were fabulous, so colourful in presentation and tasty and also they were nice sized portions without being oversized. Our service was terrific as well. What more could one want?

    Outstanding service - excellent food. Fried calamari was best I have ever had - incredibly fresh. Consistently well run restaurant in Yorkville. You won’t be disappointed.

    Excellent service. Lovely ambience..we could actually hear each other talk, not like most noisy restaurants with loud music. The Lunch in Fretta was not only delicious but offered great choices and was reasonably priced.

    We had a great time at CIBO Yorkville. From the delicious food to the excellent service. Andrea our waiter was friendly and attentive and made our experience that much better. I would recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family.

    Our server was absolutely outstanding !!! He was so personable and genuine. Amazing and attentive. Sorry cannot remember his name but I think he had worked there fur a while as I remember being served by him long ago.

    Very nice dinner. Smaller than expected gnocchi portion, the main came out very late for some reason, no bread on the table and not allowed to have a water pitcher of our own on the table. Server Maggie kept coming for a refill which was nice of her, but why we couldn't have our own I still don't understand. Also she apologized for the delay in our meal, which was also nice, but not sure why we were forgotten. Overall though, still nice and good food. I would come again.

    Great food ..traditional Italian with a switch. Great staff. Full makes not given as a couple of orders forgotten ..but all forgiven given food quality. Minestrone soup and Penne all-a Vodka off the charts and large portions

    Thank you to Iliana for making our business dinner amazing and accommodating our last minute changes. Our waiter was also fantastic, friendly and cheerful gentleman his mid- 50s. Excellent food and wine, my bosses were really happy and came from California

    We took our daughter out for lunch and wanted a restaurant with quality food options and a cozy ambiance to spend some time together (she’s a 1st year UoT student). We’ve been to CIBO in the past and always had a great experience. The restaurant is lovely, with warm and inviting decor. The menu options are plentiful with a variety of appetising options. Our server was the most delightful young lady (I don’t recall her name). She was very attentive and pleasant. Overall, we were very pleased with our dining experience at CIBO…you can’t go wrong!

    The lunch menu was lovely and reasonable. You could have a full size appetizer and a full size main for $25. The bruschetta was delicious but pasta was not as good as I’ve had at other Italian restaurants. That being said, it was still good. I think it was well worth the money and the service was spectacular. Not to mention the restaurant itself was pretty and modern.

    I recently dined at this restaurant and had a mixed experience. The food was incredibly flavorful, which I loved. However, the pasta was a bit too salty for my taste. On the bright side, the lighting was just right, not too bright, which created a comforting ambiance. The server was polite and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. I would consider going back but would definitely request less salt on the dishes to perfect the experience.

    CIBO Yorkville was good - The food was on par with the value. I do think there are other better Italian foods for this price value, but the interiors and drinks were nice. I wish the Seafood Linguine is a bit more Al dente.

    We enjoyed a lovely brunch at this upscale Yorkville staple. A lovely welcome upon arrival and prompt seating. The atmosphere was lively and engaging. Our food arrived in time expected and cooked to perfection. The salads were fresh and very tasty. The Prosecco was lovely, too. A very enjoyable visit!
