   Our waitress was wonderful. The food was great. The only comment I would have is, we weren't finished with our appetizers yet when the main courses were brought out so the main course got cold and the table was crowded as the appetizer plates were still on the table. Also, the restaurant knew it was a birthday celebration, so would have expected perhaps a candle or something on the dessert. Would have been a nice touch for a 90-year old birthday celebration.

   Got to work harder on getting orders correctly. Our wait staff was pretty oblivious to the face that 3/3 main courses were either incorrect or wrong cook.

   The atmosphere was incredible. The food was delicious and our server was amazing. Very prompt with service but so friendly and her recommendations were spot on and greatly appreciated. Will absolutely come back when back in the city.

    The ambience was nice, the food was good, the main issue was the service. It was a series of small things that added up. We saw open patio seats but weren't offered any, the food came very late, there was no bread offered even though I had ordered pasta and a mushroom appetizer, no one asked us for a drink order, and there wasn't cutlery there at first.

    Cibo was a pleasant experience. I ordered the manhattan which was disappointing. The espresso martini was really good and an excellent redemption drink. Ceasar salad was good, got the prosciutto and cheese plate which was great but surprisingly small with no side of carbs. Spicy salami was amazing. The carbonara was disappointing but was again redeemed by the funghi pizza. I’m not a mushroom fan but that pizza blew my top off. Service was great and ambience was solid. Overall, a solid meal. Wouldn’t rush to come back but was not disappointed.

    Poor and slow service, although was not busy. Food not great at all. Used to love Cibo but it isn't the same. Overpriced for what you get. We visited on a summer day and they wouldn't sit us on the patio due to tiny chance of rain, which never ended up happening. Not recommending.

    Very poor service overall, noisy, multiple issues with our order and we had indicated it was a birthday and requested a dairy free desert and neither were acknowledged. Totally not worth the price.

    Our server was fantastic, but food surprisingly was not its best. Beef ravioli was completely cold & sauce tasted like raw meat. The bruschetta was so underwhelming; came out after our main course, bread was complete mush. Dined on a Wednesday night, not busy at all & yet still waited 55 minutes for our main course. Usually enjoy dining at cibo, but after this experience we will not be coming back. Maybe there’s been a change in management

    Called in advance to confirm corkage and fees which they confirmed they did. The night of at the restaurant after our waiter confirmed and was about to open our bottles, a man (presumably a manager) said they do not offer corkage. No apologies for the inconvenience just wanted to know the name of the person I spoke to on the phone. Service was extremely slow and took 15 minutes just to get first round of drinks. With service slow and no corkage we cancelled our appetizers which we knew after 20 minutes of ordering they had not started. We left without eating and went to a reputable restaurant.

    Table was wobbly, chair cushions were deflated so it was uncomfortable. Dirty napkin on floor beside me entire time. Food was delicious though.

    The appetizers - fried calamari and salad were excellent, the main course gnocchi was a bit bland (the red sauce) and the pasta with spicy sausage was flavourful but a bit dry. Sitting on the front patio was not the nicest ambiance to be honest as people walking by were disruptive but other patio areas are nice.

    Went there as a walk in first. The lady at the reception turned us away saying there was no table. We asked how long would the wait time be because we are flexible, we were told that it is unlikely to get a spot. We left and I was going through OpenTable for other places and CIBO had 4 open spots. We made a reservation and had a table in 20 minutes. I wanted to ask the lady at the entrance what the discrepancy was and she dashed out of there. I asked our server later about this (who was great) and she couldn't come up with any reasonable explanation. I don't know what I could chalk this up to other than racism. It was rude and definitely left a sour taste. The drinks were great the food wasn't great.

    The food was very good, but the service was slow, and the dishes came out in “stages”, so that some diners were letting their food get cold waiting for the other entrees to arrive. Also, really noisy inside, but “open table” doesn’t have a way for you to request “outside”.

    Ordered appetizers and main all came all at once so ended up with cold pasta and appetizers in the end poor planning. Felt very rushed by the waiters that kept constantly asking if I’m done with food when I had a break to talk to my partner. Overall very poor experience left very disappointed

    We understand that restaurants are struggling with employees and service right now. However I have never experienced service so poor at an upscale restaurant. The manger Antonio was confrontational and aggressive and our server was rude and full of attitude. From the beginning of the night our server was unfriendly and slow. I ordered bruschetta, she asked which kind and I misunderstood the confusing and disorganized menu. I unknowingly pointed to the item right below it which was a tomato salad with no label. She did not clarify even though I had told her I wanted bruschetta. When the dish came there was no bread. I asked the server if the “bruschetta” came with bread. She said in a passive aggressive tone that tomato salad had no bread. I said ok and asked for bread in the side to make our own bruschetta. She rolled her eyes and stormed away angrily. At this point I had no issue it was a simple misunderstanding. Then the manger came over and started attacking us. Asking us why we thought the tomato salad came with bread. I showed him the menu and explained my confusion as it was right underneath the bruschetta and had no label similar to the rest of the menu. I also pointed out that the header it wasn’t in English adding to my confusion. His tone was awful and rude, he began continually asking us why we were confused. He went on a rant calling us “full of attitude” and rude. At this point I was very frustrated ,we had no issue until he came towards our table, we were polite to the server and accommodating. This entire situation was avoidable, we had no issue until he came over and began escalating the situation. It was completely uncalled for. I will never be coming here again.

    At the arrival everything was perfect. Very friendly and competent. But after we took our seat , the Desaster started. Instead of regular water, we got only the alternative between still or sparkling (7 $). We ordered beer, but it was not available…. Then we ordered a starter and two main menus. We got the main dishes before the starter and we canceled the starter. They brought it anyhow with the promise that we do not have to pay. After receiving the bill, the starter was there. So we had to complain again…. For such a restaurant, which they like to be, absolutely not acceptable.

    Restaurant is very nicely designed, food was good but service was lacking. Servers kept bringing the wrong order to not only our table but several tables. They restaurant was not overly busy for a Friday night so not sure why there was so much confusion to which tables the orders belonged to.

    Overall good experience! Food and drink was good cant go wrong with any of their pasta options - apps were good too and calamari was done well not tough or chewy. Fairly reasonable prices. Wish we were greeted when we stood in the front entrance. Hostesses seem unimpressed and not very welcoming took a few minutes to acknowledge us standing there. Sommelier was probably the most friendly and interactive person to come to our table.
