Everything was absolutely amazing. From the Burrata, to the calamari, to the pizzas and the pastas and everything in between. The food was delicious. The service was outstanding. Our entire dinner party was extremely happy with their experience.

I find the prices have gone up quite a bit and don’t love having to give my credit card when booking on open table, as plans can change at the last minute and you face a charge for cancelling. Food is always good.

Really enjoyed dinner at Cibo…excellent service, meal, ambiance was very good! The only even better if…the music. It was fine, top 40 hits. Try some Italian music, like Eros Ramazzotti for a more authentic vibe. Recommended resto! We will be back.

The reservation was for 6:30PM. We ordered around 6:45PM. We received our appetizers at 7:25PM. Our mains came at 8:20PM, after having to ask multiple times. The restaurant had many empty tables so we were not sure what was causing such a delay. We are very disappointed by how long it took to receive our food. We did not imagine it taking about 2 hours to receive our mains. Very disappointed with Cibo.

I thought that making a reservation would get us a table in the dining room, but instead we were seated alone in the basement. The service was terrible because the waiter was covering tables upstairs and down. The risotto was hard and clumpy, and came way too quickly as we had just been served our bread. I’ve visited this restaurant many times before the pandemic, but I wouldn’t recommend again.

Used to be my favourite restaurant before covid, but the service has gone downhill significantly. Waited thirty minutes for our server to take our order, there was no attention to detail, or anticipating the guest's needs (e.g. offering pepper or parmesan with salad or entrées, no offer to take drink order while we looked at the menu, no offer of oil and balsamic with bread, etc.). The food continues to be very enjoyable, but the overall experience simply isn't worth it anymore.

I’ve been to this Cibo location a number of times and this was the worst experience. We were seated at our table with no acknowledgement from our waiter for over 10 minutes. We had to call someone over to get a glass of water and order cocktails. My partner ordered a scotch neat and it was delivered on ice. When he returned it, the bar staff only scooped the ice out of the glass and the scotch was still chilled. I don’t know if the bar staff are inexperienced but this is not what you do with a $30 pour of scotch that is ordered neat. Once the waiter started servicing us it was fine. He was very friendly and patient with my friend who has dietary restrictions. I hope my next visit to Cibo will return to what I’m accustomed to.

Definitely one of the worst dining experiences our group has ever had. I have no idea if they were under staffed or the staff was under trained but the food was the only decent thing on the visit. Our sever was impossible to locate majority of the time. I have been to this and other Cibos in the past and the lack of standards and bathroom was absolutely disgusting. And to top all of it off, I brought a cake in for the birthday girl. Asked for it to be brought out after our meal. The server brought plates and the knife with the cake still in the bag to the table! What type of establishment does not have the BASIC level of standard on BIRTHDAY ETIQUETTE?! Extremely upsetting experience and I will not ever be back. This place is an EMBARRASSMENT to yorkville.
