Great food, good recommendations for wine .Used to come quite often but not so much last couple of years, really feel quality of meals has been kicked up a couple of notch’s
CinCin is a great restaurant and the food is uniformly good, but the service really makes or breaks it. The time before we had incredible, polite and accommodating service where everything just flowed. This time around the waiter was nice enough, but the flow of the entire meal was off and clunky. Little effort made whether they were interrupting a conversation and long period of time waiting, even though the restaurant was not nearly full at the time.
So we went from just amazed to 'good food...too bad about the service'. And walked out with a totally different point of view and not enthusiastic to come back. So many good restaurants in Vancouver that everything has to pull together or else not worth coming back again.
We were underwhelmed to say the least. The food was mediocre at best, but the prices certainly were not. We all left hungry, & disappointed in the food itself, & really cannot understand what all the fuss was about. We will not be returning.
A wonderful dinner. I would highly recommend it and look forward to returning!
Always a fantastic venue that will not disappoint especially for special occasions. Superb service and wonderful food and wine. Standouts of note we’re the lemon risotto, beet and burrata salad, squid, duck and lamb
Pasta was so average for an Italian restaurant
Also was very loud, not too kid friendly for that reason
Fantastic food and good service! Waiter was knowledgeable and recommended some great items. The Tagliatelle was fabulous as well as the roasted chicken. The Lemon brûlée was to die for! Wine was a little on the spendy side, but that did not detract from the overall experience. Will definitely be back!
Food was very good. The menu is a little short, but changes frequently we were told. Ambience quite and peaceful. Service was exceptional all around. A very nice evening for a celebration.
One of my favs for out of town guests
Great food and service. Will come back again! Highly recommended.
This place was amazing 10 years ago when I dined here for the first time. Now they have a new Executive Chef and it’s better then ever!!
We've been here many times and always enjoyed the food, ambiance and service. Our most recent visit was amazing - after a service issue (waiter spilled a plate of food on the table) - after moving us to a new table the manager came over and advised us the whole meal would be complimentary (food and drinks) - we really appreciated this but it was much more than necessary to make up for an accident.
Dined at Cincin over the weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The menu offered a wide range of dishes and the servers were great and knowledgeable about the food.
We ordered the Parmesan Souffle, Rib Eye steak and Pork Tenderloin. All were cooked to our liking. For dessert, we ordered the Hazelnut Truffle Opera Cake. It was very, very good and a perfect ending to our meal.
Overall, Cincin is a solid choice when you're in the area and are looking for something fancier. The only complaint I have would be that the tables are a bit close to one another and that you would probably end up eavesdropping on other people's conversations even if you didn't want to.
Everyone was still hungry when we left. Food was good the wine menu was large
Some of the food was hit and miss. Excellent server. Squid was well prepared. Prawns were mediocre. Pasta came piping hot but sauce was just ok. Fish was grilled nicely.
Such a good choice. Unique and yet homely. The wood grilled open kitchen concept was fun and the food and drinks were exceptional. Great choice for our business dinner
Sublime food, wonderful service (thanks, Daniel!), just a great all round experience.
Food was excellent, service was nicely paced. The atmosphere was lovely and conducive for conversation.
good food, excellent wait service! Wine list huge, however pricey.
Service was efficient and the food tasted as good as it looked!
We came to Cin Cin for the Dine Out Vancouver menu. We were impressed by the large staff of friendly, welcoming employees. We were pleased by the absence of TV screens; however, the disco music throbbing in the background seemed unnecessary. The food was all tops. I especially enjoyed the risotto with lemon and hazelnuts.
It is a popular restaurant and is often full. It can get very loud in there and some noise baffling strategies would be helpful. Service is always competent but not expert. The food is always delicious. Lower the noise and I would rave about this place.
Was my first time dining at Cin Cin's and was attracted by the opportunity for the Dine Out menu. Every part of the meal was absolutely amazing, and each question we had our server was able to easily and accurately answer!
Overall a great dining experience. Dine in $40 menu was excellent value & food was delicious. Service was attentive. Very extensive international wine menu. Atmosphere was fun & plenty of buzz. We dined late 8:45pm & the restaurant was fully occupied.
Excellent venue. Great vibe and energy. The desserts are to die for.
good restaurant good service！But the food I ordered is not very good!
Our experience overall was pretty good, place is amazing and food very tasty. Besides we’ve ordered a glass of wine that never came to our table, after we were done with our meal the wine wasn’t there still and we waited very long to pay our bill as well.
Our server was excellent. The wine was excellent. Too bad my husband's meal and our appetizers were so disappointing. My husband and I were at CinCin for Dine Out Vancouver. One of three restaurants we selected for this annual event. The selection from the Dine Out menu appeared to be something to look forward to but we ended up being disappointed. My husband and I each ordered the prawns and portobello mushroom appetizer. Two prawns? Seriously? I had the risotto as a main, which was very good. My husband ordered the strip loin, medium. It was the toughest steak we'd ever had. We wished we had ordered from the regular menu, as we have dined there before and not been disappointed. We like to share so fortunately my husband enjoyed my risotto as much as I did. We both feel that given Cin Cin is highly rated, they could have done better, way better. Very poor value for Dine Out.
Love the ambiance. Tried their DOV menu, food taste great. Service was very ‘Italian’ but decent. I’ll definitely go back and try their regular menu!
The restaurant has a good reputation, which is why we wanted to go there. A few of the dishes we sampled were indeed excellent. Further our server was extremely attentive without being intrusive. But the noise level, with the insistent drum beat of the "music" as well as the crowded placement of tables (such that side by side or kiddy-corner seating was not possible) prevented a relaxing conversation. Further the main course selections we had were definitely not worth the cost ... edible but not good. Surprisingly, CIn Cin did not compare favourably with other, less famous, Italian restaurants in town that offer better ambience, good food and adequate service.
