Would have loved to eat at the actual restaurant, since we made a reservation for our anniversary (and let them know), but it was closed the day of our reservation and nobody bothered to tell us from the restaurant or hotel or mention when we confirmed the reservation the day before that the restaurant was bar only. So rather than a nice anniversary meal we got to eat some mediocre bar food at a shakey bar table with loud sports watchers taking up the bulk of the bar. So inconsiderate to not communicate with your customers.

It appears to try and be a fine dining restaurant but really just an average place. Understaffed. Patio is very nice, but so loud and the staff does not manage the groups of people smoking off to the side without being told to do so. Food is average.

Our waitress Michelle had read our notes in the reservation that indicated my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. It was very nice to have that happy wish as we sat down and receive an on-the-house drink to celebrate. We both ordered the same meal - 8oz steak, with roast potato, asparagus and sautéed mushrooms - all cooked to perfection! We had gone to a "steak house" the night before and had a horrible, undercooked and cold steak meal - so to have this meal at Cinnamon Bear Grill in a quiet atmosphere was truly special. We also ordered desserts - my crème brulee, with rhubarb compote and sour cream sorbet was to die for! I also tried a new drink that went beautifully with the dessert - Lemon Tart Martini. Michelle's service was friendly and efficient (and still the same the next night when we popped in for an after dinner drink - the Lemon Tart Martini of course). I would highly recommend the Cinnamon Bear Grill for a good (yet unpretentious) meal and service.

I was expecting it to be bang average and it didn’t quite live up to that level. Burger was dryer than the Sahara, the pickle etc had clearly been left to dry out under a heat lamp for hours. Steak somehow lacked any flavour at all with some limp overdressed rocket on the side. Avoid.

There was a scheduled event in the main dining room that was very noisy so we got seated in a small area outside the dining room and it was like eating in the hallway with absolutely no ambiance. There a shortage of servers and the food was average Not the dining experience we expecting at a Hilton. Would not recommend this dining room

We came as a group of six on a fairly slow and quiet evening. While the wait staff was lovely we waited a very long time for our food. Others that arrived and ordered after us were served more quickly and it appeared that the kitchen had missed our ticket. The wait did not make any sense being that there were very few diners in the restaurant. We were also not told until we were handed our checks at the end of the meal that there was an automatic 18% tip applied to groups of six.

Our server, which I forgot to ask the name, delivers his best service last night. He was very patience with our requests as we were dinning with 2 toddlers. He made sure we were enjoying our meal and having a great time. I enjoyed my Pinot Noir wine. Altho, I didn't like my sirloin steak as it was not so flavourful as before.

This was a spectacular meal in Whistler. One of our best of the week. For a restaurant that we had never been to before, the food was absolutely delicious. The duck as well as mushroom tart in particular were tasty! Very reasonably priced considering the quality of the food. Highly recommended for any trips to Whistler.

although the food and service was excellent, the menu is very limited. So is the range of options for beverages and wine. The noise level was ridiculously loud. Children were running around inside on attended by their parents. It is right next to the pool. we were also surprised at the high prices.

Cinnamon Bear is a very nice restaurant. Small selections, but delicious. Also as importantly, the cuisines are like edible arts, so beautifully plated. The quality certainly rivals some of the other well-known restaurants in Whistler, like Araxi or 21.

We had a lovely early dinner here with the children. Three shared a fondue and I enjoyed a delicious vegetarian dish. We were well looked after and dinner was accompanied by some delightful piano music from the lobby. We could also hear the music from the bar next door, which was a little at odds with the piano, but didn’t spoil our meal.

We had an early reservation so the restaurant was quiet. We got great service. The menu choice was good and what we ordered was very tasty. I can recommend the steelhead and the winter squash.

The food was surprisingly well prepared and quite delicious. Plating and presentation top notch. Service was excellent and friendly. Although nice, the interior and decor are not a draw for customers. The place is almost always empty for evening dining, even when all other restaurants are fully booked. Perhaps a constant could help with that.

Yes it’s a hotel restaurant, but Hilton in Whistler Village? I’d expect way better service and food, not an extraordinary long wait and room service quality. It was so long, without needing to say a word, they did comp our two glasses of wine. That was the second star for service.

We enjoyed our dinner experience at Cinnamon Bear Grille. Far from the noisy crowds of Whistler Village, this is a true relaxed night out. The service was very attentive, the drinks generous and food delicious. Steelhead salmon was perfectly cooked as was the beef short ribs. The petit fours were delicious for dessert!

Food was average at best. The atmosphere was soul less and there was a loud party going on in the room next to the dining room. The music was mixed between the two venues making the sound unsettling in the dining room. The steak was $46 for a thin piece of low quality meat. Plenty of other places in Whistler to have a better meal for a better price.

We had a wonderful time with a festive NYE dinner. A very enervetic atmosphere with great service and super yummy food. We had the steelhead and winter squash and both were very delicious. I would highly recommend it.
