I've had brunch at Cluny twice now and the food was excellent both times. Staff are very professional and curtious. Cocktails are delicious with some on the menu that are different from the usual fair you'll see. You've gotta try their brioche french toast - it's incredibly good.

I had New Years’s dinner with my daughter. The ambiance was comparable to being in a bistro in Paris. The food was cooked to perfection…. Expensive but good quality food. Ambience is bland. I’ve been here once before during the Holiday Season and was disappointed this time at how stripped down the decor was. Very little decorations, no lights, no tree- definitely not fitting for the price point. Also, hostess was quite rude. Probably the last time coming here unless they level back up.

After being sat at our table, we were forgotten. After 30 minutes we got up to ask why someone hadn’t even poured water in our glasses. My coffee cup was constantly empty and the dish I ordered arrived without the egg. Thankfully it was delivered on a plate a few minutes later but to say I was disappointed with the service would be an understatement. Little things, like the fries being swapped out for home fries instead of shoe string should have been communicated in advance. The coffee should have been comped after a wait that long. The dish should have been replated after forgetting a key component instead of expecting me to plop it on top of my food.

The food was honestly very underwhelming for the price and lacked overall flavour and quality. The service was also not up to par as well. The Experience option for the Christmas market also made it really odd when I came to spending above the $50 limit which was not necessary in terms of options on the menu. Unfortunately it was for a birthday and none of the party enjoyed any of the dishes ordered.

Went for brunch. Server was excellent. Food was mediocre - eggs Benny was lacking any distinctive taste, wedge salad was good, coffee was returned because full of grounds. Quite expensive for quality of food. Not likely to return

I was part of a group of 8 people for dinner on Nov 28/21 and it was very disappointing:
1. Our bill was overcharged by more than $100 (including tip and HST). We were 8 people and the bill showed 9 people. Two items $15 French Martini and $68 Kir Royal items that did not belong to us. Advise for everybody, check your bill.
2. We were charged $2 for hot water. Never in my life I was ever charged at the restaurant for hot water.
3. Be prepared to pay over $6 for few slices of bread.
4. Tip of 18% was automatically included, which was ok. However, what was not ok is that HST was applied to the tip. This is not correct and I don't believe it's legal to add HST on gratuity.
5. Food was ok but it didn't really justify the price.
6. The restaurant's home page claims that is the best French restaurant. It is not.
6. I will definitely not recommend this place to anybody.

Love Cluny. Great ambiance. Everyone loved their food except the two who ordered the eggs Benedict Nicosie. Wasn’t expecting it to be cold and it Likely best to keep Nicoise and Eggs Benedict separate. Both great but maybe as a combo not so much. Just our two cents.

I had called 2 weeks in advance to find out if the bar would be available before dinner for the 7 who were gathering for dinner. I was told "no" due t COVID restrictions. We arrived and the bar was open. Hmmm.
It was pouring rain and we were soaked when we arrived. No one offered to take our coats. We sat at the table for 20 minutes before we got our server's attention to provide water and wine. Food order took a very long time and main courses were mixed up with appetizers. My main arrived 15 minutes after everyone else's....awkward...
I organized this gathering of "Friends from France" hence the restaurant choice.
I was disappointed in our experience.

We made the mistake of going for brunch on the weekend and the sound level made it very difficult to hear anyone at our table. Staff also were either overworked or inattentive as coffee cups were never re-filled, we had to flag down staff to both place our order and receive our bill.

We had a great birthday brunch celebration at Cluny’s! One of our cocktails was a bit of a disappointment but our server was good enough to comp us with one that we liked much better. She also gave us a complimentary French toast because we were celebrating a birthday, and that helped us enjoy our experience even more.

I've been to Clunny more than 10 times... food menu is poor...it used to be great in the past.. first time when they re opened during the lockdown they said the menu was limited, which I thought okay that time. But now, house was packed of clients, I saw no reason to keep the limited menu. Basket of bread used to be way better in the past. Last night the breads was tasting old... no sour dough :( when I booked a reservation I added the info saying the special reason for the dinner. It was my 16th wedding anniversary and honestly I was expecting something different, Maybe a welcome drink or a dessert , which is normal in a lots of other restaurants. I've asked to the waitress but she said there was not available for the special occasion... I hope next time I can have a better experience there.

Overall ambience was great, tables a bit too close together though and waiter failed to provide proper utensils for all the meals being served. Strongly recommend the dessert platter, excellent for a group accompanied by the French press to end the meal. Looking forward to returning for Brunch.

We have wanted to go for a long time and when I managed to get a reservation Cluny did not disappoint.

Waitres was nice but made zero effort to learn the menu. She had no clue about replacement sides. She didn't even know the menu layout. For the price you pay, I would expect all staff to the tip top.

The ambience of the restaurant was special with the decorated ceiling. The food was unfortunately underwhelming and didn't quite match up with the excellent decor.

I love Cluny - the food is always so great. Was disappointed with the service during my latest visit though. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived, then it took the server ~20 minutes to greet us and give us water. We didn't even see our server at the end for the bill (I had to ask someone else to grab it for me).
