Fantastic for that special night!
Great service, attentive but not intrusive. And the food terrific as usual.
Service and food were great- as always!
So many amazing options for you to choose from. The Seafood Risotto was amazing!!
special occasion or anytime- just lovely! lots of choices- every delicious
We had a great time, food and service was exceptional. Our server Brad was top notch and made the experience that much better, and he was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and wine list.
We went for brunch and had the bennys. Great price for a great meal. Definitely a new go-to for brunch.
Our server Brad was excellent and the Chef and his team was top notch. Best seafood linguine in town!
Came to Vancouver for the very first time. My husband and I are major foodies and we’re so excited to come here with our two friends! I have never written a bad review about anything as I would never want to get anyone in trouble however I was SO SO SO disappointed in our service. Our server was so disconnected. It took forever to get our drinks, and to take our food order. Our food took so long to come that the server gave us sushi cones but never explained why our food took over one hour to come. It wasn’t that busy so I am assuming the server forgot to punch in our orders. The server didn’t make any eye contact with us and made no conversation at all. We spent a lot of money here so I was disappointed with how we were treated. The food was good but the lobster prawn gnocchi was way overpriced. The sauce tasted like marinara sauce out of a jar. I would never come back here
My favourite place for brunch. The place was busy on a Saturday afternoon at around 1:30 pm. The hostess greeted us upon arrival, and seated us immediately. Our server and waitstaff ensured our glasses were always refilled. We appreciate their attentiveness and efficiency. Coast has a great vibe, comfortable surroundings, and our food came out fast. ❤️ my portobello avocado Benny with tater tots, spicy Caesar with prawn, and a buck a shuck oysters. We like coming to Coast for their seafood, especially their miso sake sablefish, and am happy they now also serve brunch on an ongoing basis. Coast is consistent, they offer a huge array of menu items, and provide value for quality food.
Sushi... AMAZING. Gnocchi... AMAZING. Crab cake... AMAZING. sparkling water... AMAZING. Not a huge fan of the forks but the Napkins.... AMAZING
Fantastic service, food and location. Possibly one of the best meals I have had in downtown Vancouver!
Our table wasn’t ready upon arrival even though a reservation had been made and confirmed. The seating area also felt cramped and it was hard for people to get up if they needed. The calamari was sub-par; it looked and tasted like something one would get at White Spot instead of a higher end seafood restaurant. Overall, the experience was underwhelming especially given the prices.
We came here for my wife's Birthday because our first experience was great. This time was even better. The staff are awesome and the food is superb. We will definitely be back when we return to Vancouver.
lovely sunday brunch place, with mimosa and $1 oysters
Great location...anniversary dinner ....acknowledged by server on being seated
Great value.....our table was in a fabulous spot, overlooking the main floor.
Service was very attentive, food very tasty
Wasn’t to thrilled on the presentation. My fiancé and I ordered the crab and lobster. I didn’t like having the top shell with the crab and it turned my fiancé off having a whole lobster with the head and legs. The crustaceans also came on top of the sides causing the sides to be cold or be soggy from the remaining water in the sea creatures. The appetizer was phenomenal (crab dip) and we were both blown away by the bar drinks. Our server was very attentive and kind. Loved the decor and the setting in the restaurant. Everything considered it was a good restaurant but not one I’d be willing to make the course from White Rock for again.
Our server was absolutely phenomenal! What a pleasant person with such a wonderful disposition to have served our table - on my very special day. It was my 40th birthday and our server made my birthday stand out! Our server was it's optional with my two children; in fact, he was absolutely phenomenal! What a pleasant person to have served our table on my very special day. It was my 40th birthday and our server made my birthday stand out. We had a lovely time in your restaurant, the food and drinks were amazing... and we will be returning as soon as we can. Thank you!
The valet parking is a great option at $16, the oyster bar has a great selection and the wait staff very knowledgeable, the sushi was amazing and the must drink cocktail is the pepper & cucumber
Simply great service, good food.
The Oyster was good. Service is ok. The rest of food is average level.
Great place for seafood! Two of us shared the $99 hot seafood platter.
Excellent service and food
Our waitress, Megan, made our night!!! Food was great and we had such a fun time!
whew, noise level not for the faint of heart. Great food, great service, really enjoyed the evening out. Will expect to see this restaurant in the top 10 soon.
I and my bf were here for my bday dinner. We ordered dineout menu. I loved my prawns! And thank you for a candle of my cake.
Birthday experience was a lovely time.
Plate was cold and side dish as well
We went for Dine-out. We arrived early and informed the hostess that we intended to have a pre-dinner Happy Hour drink. I don't believe she was really listening to us. She went on to tell us that we were early and that we could only have a Happy hour drink in certain areas such as the patio. We agreed that this was fine but we did not care to dine there. This seemed to confuse and annoy her. We have no idea why. Once we were seated at the patio and explained it to the waitress, she was more than helpful. We relaxed with our drink until our table was ready. We caught the waitress and hostess arguing over our movement to another table but it was sorted out. Everything from that point on was flawless. Our wait staff were excellent.
The Dine out menu was limited but good. Both the prawn corn chowder and salmon croquettes were tasty but the soup wasn't hot (pet peeve of mine). Her steak and prawns (especially the prawns) were excellent but my ahi tuna had plating issues. The ahi tuna was great but they were seated on a bed of hot soba noodles with julienned veggies. The tuna should have been plated separately from the hot noodles which were rather bland and tasteless anyway. Only one choice for dessert which was a cake with chocolate and caramel. Very good and so was my coffee. The round bar in the centre of the restaurant seems like a place to be and was being enthusiastically used.
My friend and I recently went to Coast restaurant for dine out. We had an awful experience. Food was pretty good but I would have to say that server was aboustley AWFUL! as soon I as sat down, I did not have a napkin. She said "oh you don't have a napkin?" and threw the napkin at me... that was my first impression of her. When I talk she never look at us in the eye and talk politely. Not only that, the most awful part was she never bothered to check on our tale when there were two other tables next to us that she was checking in to... My friend and I were bothered very disappointed of our server, she made us feel awkward and did not make us feel welcome at all. Also, she even charged my sparkling water where I know they usually don't. I have been to many different high end restaurant and this is not the kind of server I was expecting. This place was absolutely terrible. My friend and I had did not enjoy our time. I will never forget how she made us feel.
