Copacabana Brazilian Steakhouse - Adelaide (Downtown)
Your experience at Copacabana begins with a trip to our "Galleria" where you will be tempted by fresh baked breads and dips from our open concept bakery; fresh cheeses cut from the wheel, and expertly hand sliced charcuterie selections. Help yourself to as much crisp salads and colorful starters you want, but leave room: Your experience is just beginning.
Back at your table our Gauchos or Carvers will service you with a feast of various CAB (Certified Angus) grilled meats prepared in a number of ways. Simply tell your carver how you prefer your meat, (most come medium rare) and leave the rest to us!
There is only one small task for you...As your Gaucho is Cutting at your table, use your provided tongs to simply grasp the top slab of meat and assist as he thinly slices a perfect cut of meat onto your plate, enjoy…and repeat as many times as you like!

Food didn't come often and we got kicked out and half of us didn't really had enough to eat. Pretty ridiculous. And they messed up my reservation and denied me my initial table.
Had a great time. The food was terrific. The service was outstanding.
Very nice place... the food was really good... enjoyed my time there.
Amazing service - every server had a smile and made us feel welcome.
Amazing service and amazing food
We made reservations and still had to wait. For some reason the same meat options were going around which was all rare meat. The buffet was good and had a lot of options. The waitress only came when we arrived and when we were leaving which sucked because we couldn’t even get water or cocktail refills.
It was my husband's birthday. He loves Brazilian food. So I picked this place. He enjoyed everything that was served. And we recommend it for foodies like us. We would definitely return.
Amazing dinner! Delicious! Great vibe!
We booked our 8th Anniversary celebration here.
Love going here. It's quite expensive but always worth it.
Great food, friendly staff, excellent service and very accommodating with reservations and table location.
Second visit, and would go again!
The food and service were good as always. All the meats were cooked and served properly. However, even though I book a week in advance, the seats we received was really mediocre and not convenient. You'd think booking that early would give a better seat right? Considering it was my friend's birthday, it was quite a disappointment.
We had family over from Ireland and wanted to show them a different dining experience. They loved it all, the food, the entertainment & the service too.
I love the Copacabana located at Eglinton and figured the location at Adelaide would be better for a fancier celebration. My entire group of 6 hated the ambiance at this restaurant. We went to celebrate my parents retirement but could not hear each other over the loud booming music. If I wanted to go to a club, I would have gone to a club. It's entirely unnecessary to have loud music blaring during the entirety of the meal. We couldn't hear each other at all. There were no conversations to be had. We all basically just sat in silence and ate. We could barely even hear the waitress. Of course the loud music is to be expected and welcomed during the dance performances but not during the whole meal. I will not be returning to this location as it was very disappointing.
Very fun place , the steaks very delicious 😋
Suitable for group gatherings
Experience it's usually great, but it all depends on the waitress, they can totally make it a great experience or the worst ever.
Food is delicious regardless!!!
Extremely disappointed. We never got half of the meat served there. Only three types of beef dishes were being repeated. Although we told the server to bring around seafood and chicken aswel to be exact five times. It was an engagement dinner and I wanted my fiancée to try it out but I will never return to this location. The service was so poor and nobody seemed to care.
All the waitress had a fantastic service, next time for sure will ask for names , the only thing I saw with poor customer service is with the girl that was coming to the tables charging the customers bills, I think need to be train how greet costumers with a good actitud and manners , no questions asked how the dinner was or if we like or not, or just have a quick conversation, rather than that everything was great!!
This place is amazing. No complaints what so ever. We had a party of 20 and every single person came out satisfied
Food and services are great. Tables are a bit close to others making it a bit noisy.
We've been to Copacabana many times and usually we pick this location because of the service. unfortunately this time was quite disappointing...the waitress/servers took a long time to start serving us.. we complained around 4 times to the hostess and then the manager came to talk to us. In the end we were waiting to order desert but our hostess came after 30 min. we decided to leave. They definitely need to hire more people and improve service level
Love the experience. This is our spot for special occasions. This trip was a little frosty. Very cold for some reason. Luckily the food and show was hot.
I have. been a loyal customer of COPA CABANA for a few years and always celebrate my birthday here after this Saturday’s visit I will no longer be celebrating my birthday at Papa cabana I was given attitude from management and the servers it took 25 minutes to receive a first round of meat and we were set at the table 15 minutes late and exactly at the two hour point from the reservation time they told us we had to leave and we still hadn’t finished eating and didn’t start until almost a half an hour late definitely gone downhill over the years used to be one of the best restaurants around but not anymore
Service was great but disappointment by the food it was not very good. Would not return. Was a waste of money. $160 for two people not worth it at all.
I’ve never had so much good food in my life. It was a continous wave of different selections of meats coming to my table. From steak, to salmon, chicken, and shrimp. Every meat was amazing!! Great servers as well. All the servers were polite and made sure that my steak was always well done as requested. Loved this place, and will definitely go back soon! I was so full in a great way.
Farita and Tristan's great customer service made for a lovely evening. Customer service in general was good, but Farita and Tristan were more personable and made us feel comfortable, respected, and well attended.
The hostess that took us to the door from the reception desk was detached, she might have been tired or sick. I didn't get her name. She is about 5'2" with long, wavy, black hair, and brown eyes.
The meat was great as usual. The salads were ok.
We appreciated the manager coming by to check on us. There was no need because we were well taken care, but it was a touch of class on his part.
It was a great place to celebrate my birthday. The atmosphere (lighting, music) was amazing. The buffet-style food was wonderful. However, the servers did not come by with meat very often (even when we set our cards to blue). It wasn't until the end that one of the servers notified us that we had to request how we want our meat done. In the beginning, I refused a lot of the meat because it's rare. I didn't have well-done meat until near the end of the experience. Overall, great though.
I took my boyfriend out for his birthday and I've never seen him soon excited to be eating at a restaurant before. He loves meat so this was the perfect spot
Great ambiance. Staff was very attentive and professional.
My reservation was cancelled due to a fire in the kitchen
After booking way in advance for 2 birthdays, unfortunately there was a fire and we were unable to eat. Everyone was evacuated.
Hopefully no one was hurt. Not at all the fault of the staff. Just disappointing
Hi. We booked the venue and came for the first time to celebrate a milestone birthday. Unfortunately prior to us experiencing the food portion of the evening we had to vacate due to a kitchen fire. Luckily it was reported there were no injuries. The staff were well organized managing the situation. We had to try to find another venue for the milestone bday without luck.
Perfection! Table was ready when we arrived and got a nice private table like I asked for in my reservation.
Absolutely horrid experience this past Friday evening. I frequent the copacabana restaurants and in fact they are one of my favourite restaurants in Toronto. I mostly go to either this location or the one at Yonge and Eglinton. I’ve found that the dining experience is night and day depending on when you go. Weekdays around 6-8 PM is usually ideal. Friday’s and Saturday’s are busier.
I can understand that it gets busy, but my experience this Friday was absolutely deplorable. The Hostess blatantly ignored us after providing water to our table. The servers barely came by, even if they did it was at the end of their serving cycle (meaning we got the last cut of meat from the skewers which was not ideal). We didn’t get to even try all the items on the menu let alone get seconds on things we liked. The fact that changes my experience from bad to absolutely horrible was when the hostess brought the bill to our table before we were even served dessert(the pineapple and fried bananas). We were there for about an hour and a half and the service was horrible to begin with but she came by with the bill and made a half assed apology when I said we hadn’t been served dessert yet and left the bill on our table.
Needless to say. I am completely turned off by this experience and I will be very vocal about this to anyone who cares. Such a shame. It’s a great restaurant and I hope to god they’ll manage it better.
Went there for our anniversary. Nice ambience really good flavorful meats and the rest of the food was good. The only thing I would say is I had to keep asking them to bring me more meat and you should not have to ask when you are paying all you can eat and they take forever to bring you what you need.
The place was hopping when we arrived on schedule for dinner. Service was prompt, and the first serving of pineapple came quickly. Then the drinks order, followed by an explanation of how the menu worked.
We headed up for the appetizers, which were plentiful and varied. You could easily make a good meal from all that is on offer. Then the skewers of various meats started arriving. My dinner partner was looking forward to lots of meat and that was sure happening. We had to call it quits after 30 minutes of good eating!
The place was pretty noisy when we arrived, the table across from us were yelling to one another in their attempts at conversation. Not a place for an intimate meal or for holding a discussion, but we were so busy eating once the food started coming that the noise no longer mattered. Too busy eating to talk!
They are all in rush , and after having a round of all meats , they refused to bring more and when I asked to have more , they said all is finished !! I spent 300 bucks for a ultimate round not just one round !!
Lively location and experience but food came slower than other Brazilian Steakhouses. Also, all the food was extremely salty in taste.
We enjoyed our dinner at the Copacabana Brazilian Steakhouse! It was our first time at this restaurant so I had no idea what the tongs were for. If you are going for the first time, have your tongs ready to grab the meat as the waiter slices it off the skewer. The carmelized pineapple was sweet but tasty. I really enjoyed the salad bar and sides - especially the garlic mashed potatoes with green onion in them! My only "beef" is that they only came around once with each type of meat and the ones they brought early on, were definitely my favourites - the traditional Brazilian Steak & the Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon - but they were never to be seen again. Had I have known that, I would have taken more than one slice!!!
I would rather to be seated on more comfortable seat, and not in the middle.
Copacabana is heaven for meat lovers! It is quite pricey all-you-can-eat at $50+ per person. But look at it this way - if you go to a steakhouse, you'll pay at least $40 for a good piece of meat with a few sides. At Copacabana, you get your fill of at least 10 different kinds/variations of beautifully grilled meat/seafood (sirloin, flank, ribeye, parmesan filet mignon, filet mignon wrapped in bacon, prime rib stuffed with cheese, lamb, chicken, shrimp, salmon) AND the salad/sides buffet. Now, in my book, that's value for money.
A special shoutout to Tristan, who was a charming and accomodating server/carver. He went around with a friendly smile and made quick, warm chats with the diners.
