Fantastic food... meat servers were amazing... girl bringing drinks needs to step up her game a bit... Without drinks youre in about 100bucks a person, but for a meat lover its worth every penny.

Barely had the meat or foods come to our table. The staff (not the waitress but the guys that would bring the food) would look frustrated when they had to bring food over… none of us left full. Also this location never picks up their phone. Goodluck trying to get ahold of someone

Even if you are a party of 2, you are obligated and required to pay 18% tip. They serve old meat by adding too much garlic and cheese, beef smells. Food’s not served till 30-40mins after and you have to beg your servers to get repeat then they start bringing too fast too quick, bill comes to the table after 15-20mins.

When we were sat at our table no waitress has arrived for the first 10 minutes so we asked for our waitress. Meats were not arriving to our table for the first 25 minutes while we were seeing other guests who had full plates of food ans were still offered all the meats.. we had to complain to the manager about the lack of service and only then we started getting the meat on a more regular basis... food quality and taste was great though! The vanilla ice cream desert was amazing! Overall food was good but they really have to workout their service issue by building a service plan.. e.g customers who are first seated should be served at a higher priority (hungry people are less patient) than people who have been already sitting and eating for an hour... 18% tip is added automatically to your bill and cannot be revised.. I wouldnt leave more than 10% with the service we had in the first hour...

Party of 16. We were seated 15 min late and lectured that we had exactly 2 hours and not A minute more from the time we sit. Yet the food didn’t start arriving for another almost 5 min and then the drinks we ordered and the appetizers took about 15 min. Throughout the two hours we had to ask ahead of time for appetizers and drinks because we knows they’d take about 15-20 to arrive. After an hour, the meat service completely stopped. We had to chase down our server, which we had to do most of the evening, and specifically ask for types of meat we wanted to come by. We didn’t see salmon, shrimp or pineapple until 15 min before we had to leave and only after I asked several times! The coffee we ordered came 15 min after our bday cake was served. Some of us got our coffees after 2 hours and 15 min that we were there. We were literally saying buy to some of our party who were leaving and had to sit back down to quickly drink our coffee before leaving. It was way too busy. Our server kept telling us the bar was backed up. The meat servers were stressed and rushed as they served. It all felt very uncomfortable and disorganized. We won’t be returning.

Read many a negative review and don’t feel they are justified. Busy vibrant place, full tables of diners and a good energy. Emma, our server, was attentive, and the ongoing team of meat carriers kept coming to offer more delicacies. Why some balk at the 18% gratuity being added to the bill automatically, I feel bad for that aspect of society that made that necessary, Think of the number of servers you have during your two hour experience, You want to spread 10, or 15% between 8-10 people?? I’ve also read that some were unhappy with the delay between servers, or that big tables got all the cuts. We were a party of two and found we wanted for nothing. I feel people expect instant gratification far too readily these days. All in all, best Brazilian we have had since Rio, many years ago.. Go with an appetite and an open mind, you shan’t be disappointed.

I enjoy going to Copacabana, but I would not return to this location. The food was amazing, and our server was attentive, but the service from the front of house staff was awful. The hostess was very rude. We made a reservation and had to wait almost half an hour for our table and was told “I’ll let you know when a table is ready”. The other host actually fixed a table beside us which was wobbly by putting two pieces of black material under it and then pointed the hostess to sit us at the table beside it which was wobbly and uncomfortable instead of the fixed table. There were pieces of meat on the floor around our table. Food was fantastic as always like I said, but overall a poor experience for the money you pay to come here. Would not return.

I used to love this place pre-covid. It seems it has now has gone a bit downhill. Went for anniversary dinner with my husband and was very dissapointed. They are all about getting the most people in as possible including massive parties. The meat servers seem to come out and get stopped by these large parties on their way out of the kitchen that they end up with no meat and so everyone else is left waiting and waiting. Out of all the different cuts of meat, we ended up only getting served 5 different ones. Shrimp only came around once. Pineapple we had to request it multiple times before we saw it (came 45 mins after we sat down). Then there is the noise level. Due to the amount of people stuffed into the small restaurant plus the live music (which was lovely) btw) we cant even have a conversation. The deserts leave much to be desired. The sides were fantastic though. Not a big fan of the mandatory 18% tip added automatically to the bill. I would be fine with it if the service was good but it wasn't. Started great but after 20 mins, we sat there 15 mins without any sides, drinks, or meat. We were completely ignored. Once the big parties left, the service was good again but if you are going to charge $70/person and 18% service tip, they should ensure there is actual service

This used to be my favourite place to come to on occasions. Never coming back again. I had a reservation for 10PM and when I arrived at 10, I was told I had to wait in line with 3 couples ahead of me. Wasn't given a time frame, waiter/host didn't seem to care that I had a reservation at all. The entrance was filled with people waiting. I stood there for 30 mins until 10:30 came and I saw the 3 couples ahead of me hadn't been seated and just finally left. I'm not going to pay $200 for a dinner when I wouldn't get seated at the time of my reservation. Was treated like I didn't matter. I probably would've had to stand there for another hour before getting seated and they would be closing in 30 minutes. This isn't right. I drove an hour just to come here. This place has clearly changed a lot. I used to love this restaurant. I then got emailed saying I didn't show up, which is absolutely ridiculous. Maybe because you paid so little attention to me and my partner. This was for a special occasion and it had been completely ruined and had to go get fast food instead. Do everyone a favour and if you're overbooked, don't take on more reservations to then not fulfill them when the customer shows up. Wasted my time & money. Disappointed to say the very least.

Last time I visited was February and I noticed a significant drop in quality and experience. Meat was readily flowing the first 40 mins. After that there was a wait . Servers were wonderful. Manager checked in. I had my 4 year old who finished eating early so I ordered her dessert while we were still eating and I guess the servers took this as tho we were finished. Was looking forward to trying things like the cilantro chicken and wing but that never made it to our table. Drinks was great. For the price I would probably not be returning anytime soon so I don’t believe I got value for my money

We were seated at a table that honestly shouldn’t exist right by the entrance. For the first 30 minutes no meat came by. We kept seeing meat go the neighboring tables but it wouldn’t last until coming to us. Atmosphere was the worst portion as we were seated in the waiting area, it was extremely loud and there were constantly people standing around us. I was hit by people walking behind me on multiple occasions. It was also constantly cold since we were so close to the door every time someone came in we were hit with the cold air. I am a repeat customer and was there 2 weeks ago and this was the worst experience I have had yet. What’s worse was that I brought a friend who never had CopaCabana with much excitement and it was honestly a let down. The food tasted good, but as said above it took way too long to come. If this was my first experience at CopaCabana Vaughan I would never return or recommend it to anyone.

I see the mixed reviews on this place and would like to address that more than my meal. If you haven't come to a place like this before and are looking for what you should expect here it is. If you want a more quiet experience and better service come early. It got much busier around 6 and live music didn't start until around 6:30. Don't be afraid to ask for things, re-order things, or remind your server. The staff were good to us, asking one of the meat carvers about somthing got the kind of meat we wanted or our server to us. The servers are busy but there is method to their maddness. I did not find any of them rude just busy. I was not rushed and our requests and re-requests where delivered on eventualy. Understand your here for the expereance and that involes a lot of people running around including making a mess of your table. Guard your water and clean up a little. It's best to come here if you want to try a little of many things. The food is wonderful, the steak and sides where of expected quality for the price, the flan knocked me off my feet and the birthday cake was fun. My entire family left completely stuffed but if you want to play "beat the buffet" go to Mandarins. You won't beable to stack your plate high with meat and get your "value" out of that. The sides are just as valid and quality as the meat. TLDR: Come to this place if you want a wonderful in quality, varried meal that will leave you happy you tried it for the experence.

Disappointing. Not a traditional rodizio where you can’t eat because the gauchos come to the table so fast, were you HAVE to turn the card red to give yourself a break. Come to think of it they didn’t have cards here, no need I guess because you do t see the gauchos very often. The meat comes around very slow, when they do finally come they have 2-3 pieces to give the table, then they slice paper thin. I was very impressed by their thin cutting skills to be honest, do they train for this? Do they weigh the meat before and after and the thinnest slicer gets a bonus at the end of the night? The picanha was also sliced so thin they didn’t give any fat with it, a slice of picanha should have a nice layer of salty fat around it. The sides were nice except the pao de queijo (cheddar…really?) and the vinagrete was sweet, actually a lot of things were sweet, and Brasilian food should be salty not sweet. The pineapple was burnt and so sour, the extra sugar they added didn’t do the trick. We won’t go back.

Food is always good, this time we were a little disappointed because they didn’t have everything on the menu. We were told the menu is out of date and they don’t offer some of the meats anymore (perhaps the price should reflect the full menu not being available?) Even asked for certain things they did have, but it never got sent over to our table. Service from the meat carvers at the table is great. They are super friendly. Service and attitude from the drink servers sucks. They are rude and unfriendly — I mean, with an automatic 18% tip, I guess they don’t have to be friendly because it doesn’t affect their wage. With tip being included, I would expect that if I pay my bill in cash, I receive my full change? I was owed $14 and some change, and was given a $10 bill and “sorry we don’t have coins.” This is the second time this has happened. My overall suggestion: customer service needs some work.

Definitely do not recommend coming here. Our server completely forgot about us most of the night . I saw other servers handle multiple big groups and couples well. Our server only attended to the big groups and not my wife and I. We asked for bread 3 times and never got bread . Never got our water refilled . Had to ask another server for bread once and got it. We didn’t get to taste all the meat cuts, the churro is terrible do not order, cheese bread was salty. Some of the steaks were good but a lot tasted too salty. The music so was loud I could barely hear my wife. I wouldn’t have minded if our service was good for the tip to be included but that definitely put another bad taste in mouth. Definitely for the experience not worth the $200. Never ever coming back to this location.
