County Line Tavern will be taking dinner reservations Tuesday through Saturday from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Our Lunch and Brunch service will reopen when it is safe and reasonable to expand our hours of operation and offerings.

The State of Illinois requires all guests to wear face masks in our restaurant. Masks may be removed while eating or drinking, but must be worn when you leave your table.

Food was a little over cooked. It was seasoned well though, so I imagine it if hadn’t been over cooked, it would’ve been perfect. Service was impeccable and the cocktails were yummy. I always love the atmosphere there.

The shrimp linguine was OUTSTANDING and the service was excellent. The party that was in the bar area was a little loud and they should have put it in a different part of the restaurant. Other than that everything was great.

My boyfriend and I came here last night for dinner. We ordered French onion soup and a Caesar’s salad which weee both delicious. I ordered the Reuben and it was horrible. It was over cooked and dry and hard, the cheese was hardly melted and there was no sauerkraut. I complained and asked for the menu. Decided to go with the cheese/tomato flatbread. I waited 15 minutes for that to come out. My boyfriend ordered tacos and it went cold because he wanted to wait and eat with me. NO one apologized. The service was awful, we kept having to flag someone down. I am truly disappointed.

I love Countyline Tavern, they have a great menu, something for everyone. The menu changes by season. It’s a pretty restaurant, has a great outdoors. The servers are alway good. It’s a great place to eat at.

Excellent choice. Menu options were varied and welcoming. Service was attentive and "not pushy" allowing us leisure time to visit with friends. Portions were plentiful and food was tasty. Had live music in bar area so initially was a bit noisy in the restaurant area. However, staff did ultimately close the doors to the dining area which made it better for conversations. Will definitely will be a repeat for us.

We were seated right away. The table and room were very comfortable. We were immediately acknowledged and given water and a bread basket. Our server arrived promptly and took our drink menu, the cocktails were delivered quickly and were very well prepared. The menu had many good options, we decided on the Southwest Cobb Salad and the Big Ale Prime Burger. Both were delicious! Our server was friendly and attentive. We will definitely return!

Great server and the quality of food was outstanding. The timing and delivery for the appetizers then meal was perfect. Can’t beat their roasted brussel sprouts for a starter!

First time here. Really enjoyable and relaxing. We were not close to the music, but it seemed a bit loud when we walked in. Food was really good and our server was excellent. We’ll be back!

Very nice atmosphere, we liked the side dining area off the bar by the big windows. Nice outdoor patio for warmer weather dining. Party of 4 - two apps Cheese Curds and pretzel bites were really tasty. Main courses were all very good as well.

We always like to support locally owned restaurants and have been to Countyline a few times and enjoyed it. They have a nice patio too with a fireplace. This time we went, the service was excellent and drink selection was great. Our only issue was 2 out of 4 of our meals came out luke warm. They did remedy the issue and even comped one of our meals so it wasn't a big deal. I know restaurants are having problems finding enough staff these days so the fact that they acknowledged the problem is half the battle. We will certainly try going there again with better results.

Our 2nd time there. Waited on by the same server both times (John). One of the best servers we have had in a very long time. Very genuine, engaging and knowledge. Will ask for him every time we return, which will be often!

Before Covid, my wife and I visited many times. Loved their Baked French Onion Soup and Fish and Chips. While they were open for take out, we ordered these items and they were good but not like sitting in the restaurant. Now that they are open again and we can sit outside on the patio, we gave it another try. We are Seniors and won’t eat inside in spite of being vaccinated. We ordered our traditional meal described above and were not disappointed. The Fish and Chips are the best we found in the greater Chicago area. Our waiter, Dave, was wonderful. Very polite, personable and attentive. Overall, we had a great experience as we had pre-Covid. We are concerned about the weather getting cooler and not being able to sit outside.

A little disappointed with the service. Didn’t get any bread. I told our server that it was my sons birthday and nothing. Didn’t even wish him a happy birthday. Our servers name was Korel. As I said I was disappointed with the service. I’ll have to think about whether I will return again.
