free form lasagna with bolognese, ricotta cheese, parmesan, buffalo mozzarella, crispy prosciutto
tagliolini pasta with apple wood smoked bacon green peas, parmesan cream sauce, poached egg
mussels, white wine, garlic, fennel, with a spicy tomato cream broth
Wonderful dining experience! Food was phenomenal and the service was impeccable. Just a heads up to newbies, they change the exit later in the evening so you may have to leave through the bar as opposed to the front door you came in through. :)
I love the place nice scenery and all and the food is soooo good
Best Italian food in Augusta! Will be going back for sure!
Second time in and loved it again. We don’t go out much but this has become a favorite when we do. Excellent food and service.
Food was excellent. Service was excellent. They do a well job with changing the menu do to allergies, too!
When I made the reservation the form asked if it was a special occasion. I said yes, birthday but no one even looked I guess. Otherwise overall was good.
Four of us all thought the food was excellent. Very flavorful. Good service
Thin waiters could not come to the table as often
Eat there all the time. It’s great!
The service was great and fast. All of the food was delicious. Dessert was to die for.
Emily is a wonderful server. Food was good. The carbonara was not quite thick enough, but very tasty. Drink selection above average. Hidden gem.
Quite busy, our server was trying to hurry us along. We wanted to talk and relax.
The food was delicious and priced according. The service was prompt and server was nice and knowledgeable. Ambiance was overall good, but the only drawback was how close the tables are to each other and how many table there are in the restaurant. I could hear the conversations and the “token loud guy” could be heard right behind me. My suggestion for what it is: is remove more tables, space them out, and make it more exclusive for dining. The less tables, the more demand. Overall fantastic simple, yet fine meals. Wonderful arrangements of ingredients and flavors in the meals we selected. I love the Osso Bucco!
Was really good food although I did make a reservation and put in to be in a specific server section but I was not. Other than that really good
Very good food as usual. They seemed a little short of staff, but pretty common these days. We’ll be back!
Very enjoyable dinner. Great service. We had the shrimp scampi, and the gnocchi with lamb ragout. Both were very tasty and they weren’t shy with the gArlic with the scampi. The way we like it. Will return for more.
Food was excellent. My wife had the pork chop and cabbage. Flavors were great. Chop was ever so slightly overcooked but didn’t take away from the flavor. I had the braised short ribs. They switched the polenta for brussel sprouts per my request. Both were delicious. Lots of flavor in both. Meat was so tender. Our first visit but won’t be our last.
It was great as always!
The food was amazing. We had the pork and the carbonara. There was plenty of staff. The wait staff was very good.
Food was amazing as usual.
The service was fantastic. The server was attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The food was fresh, creative and so so tasty. It was presented nicely. The mussels were incredible. We love coming here and will continue to come back.
New Year’s Eve dinner. Decided to try something different this year. Reservation worked great and our server was very good.
We had plenty to eat and the food was very good except for the haddock that my wife ordered.
Desserts were very good as well.
Would recommend this place but price is a little high so be aware of that.
Much improved in terms of food quality and ambience from several years ago when we last tried this place. All dishes were pronounced good by everyone in our group. Lasagne was very tasty as was the chicken & pasta dish. The Scampi was a little oily but still quite good. Only negative is that the bar service is separate from the server and several times it tok 15 - 20 minutes for a glass of wine to be delivered to the table. This could improve and make more $$ for the business. Good neighborhood place.
We had a small gathering of 5 for a working dinner. The staff was very pleasant, and we were seated right away and everyone enjoyed the ambiance. Three of us had never been there and were immediately pleased with the service. We all ordered something different (and shared our dishes!). All agreed that the food was delicious! Our server (Lillian) was always available but not intrusive, especially when we began discussing work issues. We all agreed that we would visit again!
Love the menu choices, prices and atmosphere at Cucina - we go there often. During this visit the service was excellent - our server was very enthusiastic and checked on us often. My friend enjoyed his meal, and we had the flourless chocolate cake after dinner which was very good. I had the California Flatbread which I typically love, but it wasn't up to par. The chicken seemed to have been tossed on top rather than cooked as part of the flatbread - disappointing. Overall this is a good place to eat though, and we will go back.
Neighborhood gem. Fresh ingredients. Never disappoints. Lasagna and osso buco outstanding.
Great menu selection with delicious food! Our server was very attentive. Will go back to try other delicious menu items.
I was greeted warmly and assisted immediately! The service was impeccable and the food delicious! I will def be back to try more options!
Food was great but a bit delayed. Paper on the tables wasn’t great for an Italian Restaurant. All that being said great for the price!
Food was excellent. Had the osso buco and it was so tender that just came off the bone. The polenta was great as well. Perfect combination. Gabrielle service was excellent
Best lasagna and beet salad of any restaurant…always a favorite ❤️
A great place to meet friends for dinner
The food was excellent and was the service. The cosmopolitans were perfect!
All pasta dishes were amazing. The chairs moving across cement floor a bit distracting. Some felt pads on chair feet would make a big improvement.
The Osso Bucco was very good as was the gnocchi. The Cucina salad was very good also and very large.
We are regulars here… when I’m in town. Twice a month when I’m actually in the state. If Gabrielle is your server you are getting the best of the best! Definitely get the mussels, frito mixto, carbonara. The pork chop is usually good however it was dry last night but still fine. I’m not a huge fan of the risottos… nothing special really… but I will mess with every pasta they have, plus the duck is always awesome.
Great service. Friendly relaxed.
The food was fantastic, from salad to dessert. Holy cow yum. Our first time there, we'll be back often.
