Best Contemporary European Restaurants in Leslieville / Riverdale

I am on the hunt to try all the Michelin-star restaurants in Toronto. I have tasted 4 now, and so far, Engima is the best one. The food and flavours were incredible as well as the overall design of each plate, carefully curated for maximum enjoyment, but what really got me was first the service and explanation of every dish was incredible, the staff like a well-oiled machine, came in cleaned up, changed silverware and made sure we always had towelettes to clean our hands. The second thing is, the chefs were interactive and came in to talk about the dishes and present it to us, that was awesome and if you ever had questions about the flavour profile, you only need the right question to ask them. The last thing is that it was my father's birthday, they made sure it was an unforgettable one, they took a picture of us and gave us that picture, had complimentary champagne, the chef took a picture with us as well, and we had some starters on the house. They made this birthday incredibly memorable, and my dad is already talking about returning with my mom. You finish off with a little baggie to take home. Like you are a kid who just went to the best birthday party. Everything was incredible, a one-of-a-kind experience, and in our humble opinion, worth every dollar.

Had another fantastic meal at Minami. I love the vibe of this restaurant and the staff is all very welcoming and professional. We had some our favourite dishes once again. Pork Gyoza and soft shell crab to start, both were tasty. Next we had some spicy salmon rolls and Negihama Maki, both of these were so fresh and delicious. We finished off with a few orders of the A5 Waygu Striploin with a lobster tail. Again everything we had was prepared perfectly. I also had a few of the Mizaki Margaritas and I really enjoyed them a lot. The bill said our server was Nicole but two different lovely women looked after us and they were both incredibly helpful and professional. I will keep coming back for the wonderful atmosphere, delicious food and amazing staff. Michael GIGL

We had a wonderful evening at my new favorite restaurant. The menu, service and ambience are excellent. What more can you ask for?

I was supposed to have lunch in a different place and saw Ricarda's on my way there. When I got to the place I really didn't like it and made a quick reservation to Ricarda's. I am so glad I did! The staff was wonderful, the place was beautiful, prices were approachable and I could talk to my friend instead of shouting over music. Really loved it, I would 10/10 recommend
