- JJoseeVancouver / British Columbia •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWonderful experience! Food was excellent! Started with oysters, then the cheese plate and as my main I had the bouillabaisse. Finished off sharing a dessert with my friends (can’t remember the name but it had pear sorbet in it) and it was fabulous. The wine list … some many wonderful wines to choose from. We all said we would return … drive from Ottawa just to come and have dinner here again. Oh … and I wish they published their playlist as the background music was amazing. Perfect for the ambiance.More infoLe Pois PenchéPrice: Expensive• French• Downtown•4.7

- MmichaelNew York City •17 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 18, 2024Bungalow has essentially a classic bistro menu with some updates. Fried calamari with salad was an excellent appetizer for two people to share. It seemed fresh and well-prepared. Mains of steak (cooked exactly as requested) and navarin d'agneau (underseasoned) were perfectly fine withoug being at all distinctive. In short, exactly what I usually want from a bistro: a predictable meal of good quality ingredients, classically prepared with no surprises. On the night we were there, it was not at all crowded, so noise level was fine. But we could easily hear the conversation of a table at the other end of the restaurant, so I imagine it might be noisy when full.More infoRestaurant BungalowPrice: Expensive• Market Cuisine• Plateau Mont-Royal•4.7
