We tried the fish cakes for our entree and these were the best fish cakes I've had in my life. We had a very energetic and enthusiastic waiter as well.More infoLe Pois PenchéPrice: Expensive• French• Downtown•4.7

The chef approached each table to ask us how our experience was, and he is very gracious and open, speaking to us about his journey into opera and his decades-long experience as a chef. The ambiance is very cozy and upbeat. Lastly, the Semifreddo dessert was incredible, the perfect complement to the delicious dinner. I would highly recommend this experinece!More infoIl BazzaliPrice: Expensive• Italian• Little Italy•4.7

- MmichaelNew York City •17 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 18, 2024Bungalow has essentially a classic bistro menu with some updates. Fried calamari with salad was an excellent appetizer for two people to share. It seemed fresh and well-prepared. Mains of steak (cooked exactly as requested) and navarin d'agneau (underseasoned) were perfectly fine withoug being at all distinctive. In short, exactly what I usually want from a bistro: a predictable meal of good quality ingredients, classically prepared with no surprises. On the night we were there, it was not at all crowded, so noise level was fine. But we could easily hear the conversation of a table at the other end of the restaurant, so I imagine it might be noisy when full.More infoRestaurant BungalowPrice: Expensive• Market Cuisine• Plateau Mont-Royal•4.7
