In Italy, a trattoria is a cozy & casual, family-ran restaurant. And that is exactly what we strive to be! During the day, we are an all local, whole animal butcher shop & deli and at night, an intimate trattoria. Our food is regionally Mid-Atlantic while being primarily influenced by Italian cooking. We are inspired by our local farmers, their produce and the cultural diversity of Philadelphia. All of our ingredients are locally sourced except for a few spices and salt. We mill flour, make pastas & breads, and butcher proteins all in house. And now with our winery, Punk Rock Wine Co, we are making and serving our own PA grown & Philly made wines alongside beers, wines & spirits from other PA producers. Looking forward to having you! Sweet Lula’s Restaurant is a BYOB avant-garde unique dinner romantic cosy dining experience in Pitman, New Jersey. We won an award for our famous soup sweet potato sausage corn chowder. We are close to Rowan University. Signature dishes include duck breast pork tenderloin and our fabulous bread pudding!We are family owned and operated by executive chef Anthony Asbury (a very famous Puppeteer) he has an Emmy displayed in the restaurant and has worked with Jim Henson and Steven Spielberg. We also play movies which we project onto a large screen which is very unique ! We are a free-flowing scratch kitchen plus veggie, vegan, and gluten-free friendly. Keep your eyes out for Chef Anthony's British wife, Lula (a previous pop star and Model in the 80s), she may be even be singing a few songs on some nights.
