A very warm welcome from Paul, Denise and the team at The Fox Inn, an 18th Century pub / inn set in the peaceful village of Matching Tye in the beautiful Essex countryside.The Fox Inn offers relaxed dining for up to 82 people in the modernised bar and restaurant area, and we are pleased to offer a 40 seat function room ideal for parties, private gatherings and meetings.We are open 6 days a week, Tuesday’s through to Sunday, being closed on Mondays.We serve excellent, freshly cooked food from either our bar, restaurant or Sunday lunch menus. We have also a tasty kids meu available.We are also pleased to offer accommodation to the rear of The Fox Inn if you are looking for a quiet country getaway.
