Best Global Restaurants in Kerrisdale

My friends and I wanted to get together over a few bottles of wine and some snacks. There's no better way than going to Earl's for 1/2 price bottles of wine on a Tuesday. We sat in Mel's section in the solarium. We started with fries and gravy, and a Queen Bee pizza. This pizza is a brilliant balance of mildly spicy, sweet, and salty - one of Earl's best creations. Still hungry, we ordered another pizza, this time the prosciutto and arugula. We finished our first bottle of wine so we ordered a second. For dessert, my friends wanted the featured banana chocolate cream pie - I'm not a fan of bananas. I kept trying to convince them to order the sticky chocolate toffee cake. In the end I lost out and the group ordered the pie. When dessert came, to my surprise, Mel had thrown in a mini sticky toffee cake for me. Amazing! We were still hungry and after happy hour had started, we ordered the mini steak frites. It's a little 4 oz steak and a 1/2 order of fries. As expected, it was made to order to perfectly rare. Overall, an outstanding experience.

Food was fantastic as was the service. Been for lunch and dinner both were amazing.

It was our first time dining at ELEM for a birthday dinner, and we were given a tour of the restaurant as well as really attentive easy-going service. All the staff are really kind and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was - of course - AMAZING, and both the cocktails and the menu were highly creative and well-balanced in flavours. We loved our time at Elem! (Also, we were discussing how we were going to steal a bucket of their sauces from the kitchen because it tasted so good.) Thank you so much for a great time!
