Thomas Makris, from the Island of Skopelos, fell in love when he met Helen Babalos. They met at Orestes Greek restaurant in 1974, while on a Greek dancing tour of North America. Soon after their marriage, they had a vision to open a place like no other in Vancouver; a Greek restaurant where everyone is family; where everyone receives a consistent experience created by delicious homemade authentic food and impeccable service. We are celebrating our third anniversary. We ordered two appetisers, one main and one glass of wine. It was so delicious. The staff split the rice soup and a glass of wine between two servings. It's so sweet.

We had many good meals in Vancouver, but this was outstanding. The appetizers were fresh and beautifully presented. The salt baked whole fish was tremendous — accompaniments and all. The flavors were wonderful. I’ve eaten often at Milo’s in nyc, and dare I say this was even better!
