Ferreira Café is an absolute gem in the heart of Montreal. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm, attentive service and an elegant atmosphere that perfectly balanced sophistication and comfort. The food was nothing short of phenomenal—each dish beautifully presented and bursting with authentic Portuguese flavor. The crispy octopus was perfect the seafood rice rich and flavorful, and the desserts were the perfect ending to a truly memorable meal. The wine selection is exceptional, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable. Ferreira Café sets the standard for fine dining—definitely a must-visit!

Everything we ordered was fresh and well prepared. A cautionary note, each of the a la carte items are quite small, so if you have a larger party (6 in ours) you do need to order numerous plates to share. Each “share” plate ranged from $15.00 - $60.00. Giving each guest a small taste. It all added up very quickly. They do offer a set menu option as well, may be the way to go. Otherwise an enjoyable evening. Thx.

Absolutely fantastic tasting menu. We have a slightly uncommon food allergy and Damas was able to accommodate us in spectacular fashion. The Mediterranean/middle Eastern wine pairing was excellent and well worth springing for.

There is no restaurant like Darna. You walk in and immediately feel at home, walking into someone's house, and then beautiful decor. But then, the food! The food! I have traveled from near and far to eat here. It is prepared with such love and care and exquisite flavors that I have dreamed about it many a night. The service is impeccable and the owner, Otman, is a beautiful and generous soul!
