Da Emma is a hidden Italian gem located right in downtown Montreal. Since the restaurant itself is located below street level, many people pass by this little trattoria every day without realizing it. The only sign for it is painted on a nearby brick wall in black and white and consists entirely of a downward pointing arrow and the word "Emma". It is because it is a little hard to find that diners feel like they are in on a secret not everyone knows about.Inside, Da Emma goes with a sleek and modern style complete with dark wood tones and white tablecloths. The menu consists of both classic and modern Italian plates.
