We greatly enjoyed our dinner at the Keg for my husbands birthday! As usual we ate too much delicious food. Such great value and a classy but unpretentious atmosphere. Exactly what I was hoping for. Thank you!

Food was fantastic. Brisket, ribs were tender and smoked as were the chicken wings. Delicious and Smokey! Lots of vegetable options to accompany all that meat. And homemade cheesecake was amazing. Casual country kitchen tables. Serving team is welcoming and knowledgeable. Felt like entering a friendly old western saloon with super friendly hospitality.

Incredible service and food, no wonder reservations are recommended… the place was full !! Highly recommend the braised Moroccan lamb shank. It was truly melt on your mouth! Service was terrific too.

Derrick's Steakhouse: A Cut Above the Rest Celebrating a birthday at Derrick's Steakhouse in Kelowna was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped inside, the ambiance was sophisticated and inviting. The decor was elegant, creating the perfect setting for a special occasion. Our evening began with a celebratory glass of Dom Perignon, setting the tone for a truly luxurious dining experience. We started with a delightful beet salad, followed by a classic Prawn Cocktail – both beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. For the main course, we indulged in a 10 oz Striploin with Brandy Peppercorn Sauce and a 6 oz Tenderloin with blue cheese. Both cuts were cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. The accompanying broccolini and baby potatoes were perfectly seasoned and complemented the rich flavors of the steaks. We paired this with an amazing bottle of GD Varja. The service was impeccable. Our server, Chris D, was a true professional with a captivating handlebar mustache. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and ensured our every need was met. The Maitre'd, Mike E, demonstrated exceptional attention to detail, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Ross Derrick, who shared the inspiring story of how he opened the restaurant to honor his father's legacy. It was clear that passion and dedication were poured into every aspect of the establishment. To cap off the evening, we shared the decadent Chocolate Silk cake, a perfect ending to a truly memorable meal. Overall: Derrick's Steakhouse is a must-visit for any discerning diner in Kelowna. My husband and I had an amazing brunch date here, the steak and eggs were amazing, the steak was perfectly cooked an a very generous portion and the eggs cooked exactly how we ordered. The service was excellent, our server was attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!
