As many have mentioned they are still on top of their game so many years later, I believe they have been open at least 20 years in that enormous and presumably expensive space in the Brookfield Place on Wellington, with equally expensive parking I might add (25 dollars for event nights), and notably the restaurant often looks like it's half empty with its numerous private rooms, at any rate the kitchen is still putting out delicious fusion style gourmet dishes: we had perfect buttery scallops on a cauliflower puree and a wagyu steak with taro chips, also impressive still are the skewered meats (everyone loves the pork belly skewer) and the maki style rolls, the aburi torched salmon, even the side dishes are perfect. Service has always been kind, professional and unobtrusive in our case. You have to avoid the restaurant on nights where the Maple Leafs are playing: there is a glut of jersey'ed fans who come there and are catered to preferentially because they have to leave to watch the game next door at Scotiabank Arena.

Came for a quick bite before the Leafs game. Robert’s service was impeccable - explaining the different cuts of meat, their dry-aging process, etc. The Australian Waygu is worth every penny. The best steak I’ve ever had. No sauces or salt needed. Absolutely melts in your mouth. Highly recommend for an upscale steak and seafood.

Had my first omakase lunch, lovely experience. I had enough to eat though my husband thought he could have more. There is the option of ordering more but he declined. What I really enjoyed too was the green tea, strong, full-bodied.
