- GGerardVIPHawaii •223 reviews5.0Dined on May 8, 2025This restaurant is located on Hornsby St, in the Hotel Le Soleil. It’s a very beautiful space with high ceilings, wood flooring, and a very interesting light fixture over the center of the space. I got there just after it opened so it was empty. Chloe was my server. I started with a double Monkey 47 gin and tonic ($28.50CAD), and ordered Bone Marrow ($24), and Duck Cassoulet with foie gras ($59). Along the way, I had another Monkey 47 G&T and finished with an Americano ($6). The bone marrow came with four pieces of toasted baguette, and some Shimeji mushrooms and pickled onion. It was so unctuous and delicious! The cassoulet was rich, with confit duck, sausage, lardon, and some vegetables. The foie gras add-on ($20) took the dish over the top. This was a fabulous first meal ($156.13CAD + tip) in Vancouver … I loved everything!More infoAlouette BistroPrice: Moderate• Bistro• Downtown•4.7
