Best Wine Bars in Schererville, IN

We sat in the bar area at high top table. Chairs were actually kind of comfy. Had the country rigatoni pasta that came in a bowl that was knee deep in pasta, sausage and chicken- very tasty. We also had the lunch portion of chicken piccata that came with pasta n 2 breasts which were good. Our server was very attentive. CH Ale aged in wine barrels was great. We will be back

We love this place. The food is always fantastic! We went on Valentine’s Day and made our reservation super easy on the app and was able to get in 10 mins before our time. Our server A1 (yes like the steak sauce) was amazing! He was super friendly and happy to just chat a bit even on a busy night, but we never felt like we needed something. He was always on top of it!

Dana's chicken was delicious, thin and crispy outside, tender inside. Side juliann potatoes were baked cheesey and scrumptious! The sauce on the green beans was delicious 😋 Definitely a must. We also enjoyed the SW eggrolls along with three accompanying sauces. The cashew sauce was very tasty along with the cilantro ranch. Our server was attentive and pleasant.

I always enjoy my friends and a good wine,dinner at Gamba Ristorante. Friendly staff, delicious food.

I took my mom for a Valentine's Day lunch. We went around 3 PM, and even though my reservation was at 3:30 PM the staff were nice enough to let me in. Granted it was a low volume of people eating at the time. We were sat near the windows which added to the ambience of our visit. The music made it feel like we were in an old fancy jazz club. I had the French onion soup and the chicken sandwich while my mom had the Walnut turkey club sandwich. Both sandwiches came with well seasoned fries. The food was delicious and our waitress, Annette, was very attentive and sweet. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely go again. I would highly recommend the Walnut Room.
