The service and food was fantastic. Our waitress, Karla, was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The bartender and manager were also great. The bartender was very friendly and very capable, getting us our drinks in a timely manner.

The place was very warm inside! Very uncomfortable as we had a family night out with 6 of us and it was just a very bad experience. Do not go to this location. It feels very run down and no attention. I have tried this location 3 times with he same results! The server was not rude but not very attentive and at one point when he was clearing the table, I had several plates stacked to make it easier for him and he literally told me "just put them here" on the tray he was holding. I ended up clearing my own table. NOT ACCEPTABLE! I am a very good tipper and still dropped a $50 tip on an $200 ticket but I will not go there again! Go the one on Grey because it is the best! Night and Day difference between the two!

They ignored our reservation. Specifically put a reservation for the bar and they literally didn’t even do it even though I got the notification that they accepted the reservation. Also the food over the past few years has continued to go downhill. This time the chips and salsa were clearly like grocery store ones. Also my margarita was watered down. I drink very rarely and my jumbo marg which would in the past get me pretty tipsy even though I was on average drinking more then, barely gave me a buzz. I used to love this place but honestly it’s just become like a chilis. Used to be more original and special… not anymore.

Went there for Saturday brunch. Excellent Bloody Marys. Great selection for meat eaters and vegetarians. The service was wonderful, too. This is my favorite Cyclone Anaya's near me - the one at City Centre is always too crowded, and parking is a mess. Same great food in a calmer environment on Durham.

A fan of this franchise - this location is usually only selected when I'm traveling from outside Houston for events in the Theater District. Very efficient - we got in quickly and were served immediately. Great food and drink and nice ambiance. We needed to dine in 45 minutes to get on the way to our show - server was on point and all went very cleanly.

We enjoyed the food but were even more impressed with the attentive service. From our server to the on duty manager, even employees that were not interacting with us, all acknowledged us entering and leaving! This is the opposite of what I’ve been finding recently at many other restaurants where you walk in and are ignored until you can flag down an employee. I don’t know if we got lucky and got the A-team or if the service is always so good but it really stood out!

Very clean, quickly seated us. Waiter tried very hard to sell us larger margaritas, despite me telling him I was driving. He brought me one and I left half of it. Chips were different than I remember in the past, not as good. Tamales were amazing.

Reserved a table on patio and when we arrived that was not an option. Went there specifically for the ceviche and the recipe had changed and was not good. Service was very slow and was not a good experience at all.

Now I remember why it’s probably been 10 to 15 years since I’ve been to this restaurant. The margaritas are pretty much awful. Way too sweet and acidic at the same time. Very unusual combination that must be difficult to achieve. The service is uninspired to say the least. It took probably 15 minutes just to get our round of drinks. The waiter had to be summoned to refill our water glasses. The food is decent but there are so many other good options around that are less expensive. I guess in 15 years I’ll go back again just to be reminded how meh this place is.
