Amazing food and service. Nice patio with small heat lamps.

The food, ambiance and service are perfect. They do such an exceptional job.

I ate there for my birthday and had an umami bomb from flavours of its progressive plating system. The rumors are true, it is definitely the best restaurant in Toronto, I would recommend it to anyone I know!

It was cool outside and we wr offered blankets. We ordered a big pot of hot boozy tea instead: delicious!!

This restaurant is one of the most creative and delicious places I have experienced in Toronto. Our dining experience is always excellent. The dishes are authentically Chinese but with very unique Western expressions. If you grew up with Chinese home cooking this place will speak to you for sure. Even if not the food is amazing and worth experiencing!

Why did the taster go up again?

Used to be 50

Then 65 (ok, prices go up I get it )

Now 75 ( that’s a lot for same amount of food)

Food was fantastic, exotic and complex flavours. Had the Chef's preset course and the pacing was perfect, they accommodated each person's food preferences. Our waiter was so knowledgeable, attentive, and just made the whole meal an exceptional experience.

Absolutely one of the best restaurants in Toronto...amazing food and service. We always do the tasting menu, each time we've been has been a special experience. We can't wait to return. As an fyi...COVID protocols are top notch. We sat outside with a heat lamp which was perfect. Love DaiLo!

The tasting menu is a “must try” - so many unusual flavour combinations that result in a delicious and varied menu. Due to pandemic measures, noise level definitely more pleasant.

DaiLo is one of the best in Toronto, for good reason. Their food is always an experience, a taste explosion. Always try something new (or the specials which I didn't do on my last visit and hearing afterwards that the chef is the person bringing the mushrooms to the island on which he has a cottage, should have listened to my partner!) because every dish is a treat.
Pricing is reasonable for the amount but certainly for the quality. Since recently I've also started deliberately ordering desserts, see how restaurants fare on that part, rather than just an afterthought. DaiLo didn't disappoint me on that front either. Finally, service is stellar. All around jewel.

This was our second time at Dailo. The food and service are great. We decided to go with the Tasting menu but it was not exactly the same as 1 year ago. We found that the plates were smaller; unfortunately we had to add to as we were not full.

Complements to Nick Liu and Daniel. The food was mind blowingly good and so were the drinks. We will be back for sure:)

Service was great and sever was very friendly. But the food was alright, definitely didn’t exceed expectations and very pricey. For the price you pay for there are exceptionally better restaurant options. Didn’t feel like I got my money’s worth

Soooooooo good food, this place is beeeest. Get the Burmese Tofu.

One of the best dinners I have ever had..Asian from all of Asia at its best. The White Rabbit Ice Cream was a surprise delicious ending to the meal!

This was a perfect birthday dinner from the food to the service. We went for the a la carte, however, on the next visit we will definitely be trying the chef's choice. The food was excellent especially the wonton and the lamb neck rendang. Couldn't fault anything! Additionally, they came out with an extra palette cleanser of sorbet and a birthday cake for my boyfriend as a surprise :)

This place should be lined up around the block. The food is culinary genius.

Great experience for our first visit! Recommend the chef’s tasting menu. Higher in price yet well worth the money! 8 dishes, perfect sharing sizes and the flavours & textures are needed to be experienced!! Great wine list to compliment the amazing food!! Highly recommended

Chefs table for 76$ is worth every penny.
Deep fried watermelon was unique and delicious. Carpaccio outstanding, the leaf and the dumplings were a world of flavors, refined and well balanced.
And we were more than satisfied with the octopus tacos and duck.
For dessert we had the "pudding" and that turned out being too much... we should have stopped at the sorbet. Gluttony is a sin...forgive me Dai Lo for I have sinned.

One of the best meals Ive been served at a restaurant in the last 3 years. I had truffle fried rice, cauliflower curry, wontons, and tofu. I am a full meat eater and my guest was a a vegetarian and it was wonderful to see her have so many options....which I shared and were absolutely delicious. In fact while I loved my starter (wontons) after trying her tofu( house made) I was a bit green with food envy lol! Great server, great ambience - I had fun talking its praises over the last few days and look forward to doing it al again...

Food and service was good but not excellent. The food portions were small and expensive. I personally wouldn't go back again. There are other restaurants
with better quality food and less expensive.
