Honestly, the ambiance made it feel like we were sitting in an overpriced diner. And it's definitely *inside* the Galleria mall and not the Westin Galleria hotel as advertised, which made it more stressful to find. Food was just "ok."

Another fabulous meal at Daily Grill! It is one of our favorite dining places at the Houston Galleria. The food is outstanding and the service is wonderful - the atmosphere very friendly too! We highly recommend Daily Grill at the Houston Galleria!

I got the Asian tuna salad. The salad itself was great but they did not have a proper dressing. I asked for the Asian vinaigrette and was given some creamy lemon like mayo. I then asked if they had any vinaigrette and then was given balsamic that was creamy and did not go with the salad at all. Everyone else had fish and chips and they were not got at all. Soggy and the flavor was lacking. Overall service was not bad but nothing to brag about. I would not go back.

I keep being told that they were about to close and our reservation was for 8:30 we made it there before that time but everything I ask for the waiter keep telling me “well let me check because you know it’s late we are closing” like okay I get it he was more than ready to leave

Never greeted by a server. Had to wave down a manager to get drinks and appetizer. Once we got server’s attention 45 min later, he never apologized for lack of service. He just explained he was busy with other tables that were taking up his time by ordering drinks. We ordered salads, and the portions were enormous that we could only eat half our plates and the flavor was mediocre.

Our server tended the bar as well and did a very good job. He was kind and attentive. We three ordered the filet mignons at $49 each and were quite underwhelmed for the price. The fries were excellent though. So the food was fair but quite high priced which I suppose one should expect at the Houston Galleria.

This was a disappointing experience in almost every category. The staff were friendly but had little pride in their duties. The food was dull and presented in a lifeless form. While this is a bar and restaurant in a mall, it is part of a quality hotel brand in a luxury mall. People shop for high priced shoes and watches here, as well as at big name bargain stores. The best advice I can offer anyone wanting more than a beer at the bar to check the sports scores is keep walking.

Food and Service were surprisingly good. Our first time trying after walking by during many of our stays; finally gave it a shot and were completely satisfied. Food was on par; Chicken Pot pie was flaky and tasty; Trout Almondine was very good; spicy chicken and shrimp pasta could’ve had a bit more spice but did have a good flavor; carrot cake and Skillet brownie were enjoyed by all (skillet brownie similar to a s’mores with marshmallows baked on top of the brownie). Margarita was okay; Martini was not. Food portions were a good size. Will return.

Dining at The Daily Grill was a great experience! The food was fantastic, definitely quality and quantity! It was nice to have a quiet, relaxing, and casual dinner after a day of shopping. We will definitely dine here again next time we are in Houston.

The initial server , who stood at the front podium to greet customers entering the restaurant, was very distant and dry with my 9 yr. old son and me. He did not make us feel welcomed. The server, who was working behind the bar, was more of a personable person.

Soooo glad Daily Grill is open for business again! My husband and I LOVE to eat there. The service is superb and the service is excellent! As always, the food is delicious (especially their meatloaf, one of my favorite dishes!) Then sourdough bread is the best anywhere! I HIGHLY recommend The Daily Grill! Wasn’t thrilled to see that after being told we needed to order from the Valentines menu, pretty much everyone else in the restaurant ordered from regular menu. I had specifically mentioned to our waitress that I was disappointed I couldn’t order something g else. Then it took a very, very long time for our food ordered from the fixed menu. The manager apologized but blamed it on the busy evening and how busy they were even though it was less than half full.

Great place for dinner. Located in the shopping mall and attached to the Westin hotel. Food is very good and reasonable price for this expensive part of Houston. Parking is complimentary at the shopping mall.

Group of 7 co workers went to enjoy a nice lunch as some members were leaving the team. The resteraunt/lounge area was going through renovations (half closed) and why a lower score on ambinace but what was open was neat and tidy. We had asked for a quiet table to allow us to talk and the resteraunt provided an excellent table location. All the meals were cooked well and the appitizers were perfect. Service was excellent with refills on drinks with out asking and ensuring all meals wetre to our satisfaction. slightly more pricey than average but never had a bad mean or bad service here.
