Was in Dallas in business and needed a restaurant close by that had non meat options due to Observation of Ash Wednesday. The food was very good and the portions way bigger than we were expecting. The wait staff was accommodating and very attentive. The place had a cool vibe to it but it was easy to still be able to carry on a conversation and hear who you were dining with.

We had never been to Dallas Fish market, but we were so glad we made the choice. The service was outstanding, the food was delicious, as well as timely, and we didn’t have to raise our voices to hold a conversation. My wife had the salmon and I had the swordfish, both highly recommended by my waiter and he was spot on. Upon leaving we told them “See you again soon!”

This restaurant is just average. The food and service is good, but it is very overpriced. It might be okay for a business lunch if you are downtown. The atmosphere is nothing special. In fact, the establishment is a bit dingy and could use some fresh paint in places. For the high price my wife and I expected more from this restaurant. If you are spending the night in downtown, I suggest you take an Uber or Lyft and go somewhere else where you would get better food and service for this price point.

Food was really good but the service was a joke. We were there for Valentines Day and our anniversary and we saw the waiter three times. Was only able to get one extra drink after his initial order and waited 30 minutes after the they had talked our desserts to get the bill. It wasn’t that busy to be so slow.

It was a wonderful meal! The only thing that was a challenge was that every time the door opened it create a cold draft that would whip at us while we were eating and enjoying conversation. I would fix how the restaurant is configured so that is a mom issue moving forward

This was the first time my daughter and I had been to the Dallas Fish Market. We are both huge sushi fans. Wed both agreed that his was one of the best we have ever been to. That includes most of the reputable sushi restaurants in Dallas. I was surprised to hear that it has been in Dallas since 2007? I have avoided the chaos of driving downtown at night. That is the only drawback. But once you take advantage of the great valet parking and step into the restaurant, you are not aware of the activity outside. Very well done. In addition to a great atmosphere, our server, Lindsey, was spectacular. She was attentive, knowledgeable of the unique menu items we had never seen before and had an engaging smile and wonderful personality. We will defiantly return, again. again. and again. Well done!!

The oysters were absolutely incredible! The service was on point. We ordered a variety of raw oysters, the scallop dish, and a sushi roll. All were fantastic. I do wish they served higher-quality wasabi and ginger with the sushi. For such a high-quality fish dish I'd expect the wasabi and ginger to be nicer than what seemed to be on par with grocery store sushi. I'd definitely come back!

This was such a great experience. The staff was very welcoming, and our server, Brian, was great. He knew wines and made great food selections. For starters, we had the Lump Crab Cake which was very tasty. I had the Fennel Coriander Crusted Ahi Tuna that was delicious and my sister had the Scallops with Cauliflower Three Ways. The scallops were perfect and didn't know we'd like cauliflower that much until this dish! For dessert we got the Molten Chocolate Soufflé which was amazing! The cappuccinos were the best we've had in a long time. Excellent wine list, especially for Chardonnay. Highly recommend Dallas Fish Market if you are looking for superb quality and service.

Waiter was less attentive than most. Brought main dishes to the table in waves so that we all had to wait whilst staring at our plates. He also failed to let us know early in the meal that the best dessert took 25 minutes to prepare. There were 9 of us and that is probably more challenging for service. The food was healthy and very tasty. A good variety of choices too. The location of the restaurant was wonderful. Will definitely go there again.

We eat here regularly. We especially like a number of the rolls—the White Russian and Picasso being our favorites, although it’s a tough call. They’re all tasty. They do a great grilled fish. We both had the salmon with Udon noodles a few nights ago. The curry sauce was more subtle than spicy but still spicy enough. One of the best we’ve had there, and that includes the delicious, delicate Texas Red Fish. We like the oysters. They’re served at a perfect temperature and our server seems to always know how to describe and present them. Service has always been excellent even during busy times. The wine-by-the glass list is small but good and decently priced. We had the cheese plate for desert for the first time. The three cheeses were ripe and served at room temperature with grapes and a garnish spread. The small, thin slices of grilled bread let the cheese shine with being pretty delicious themselves. Do we love this place? Yes we do. We live in town, so it’s an easy no-brainer for us.

Service seems to be the main issue here. I did not know my customers had been here before and they forgot to serve the owner of the company his dinner. This time service was better but not even close to the standards of where it should be. Drinks sat empty for 5 minutes before you could order again and then took 5-10 minutes to get. They started us with a glass to toast with and for half the table the glasses sat there all night. We even order a ton of apps and they had to work around the glasses to get to them. The people not drinking wine they did not remove though glasses either. So if you had water and anther drink you had 4 glasses in front of you. For the food, the sushi was not really good. I forgot what other apps we got but they were good. I ordered the Red Fish as a main and it good but the crust feel off as you ate it. It seems like it was sitting awhile. I will not be back but a good looking place with high hopes.

Beautiful setting, but half the items on the prix fix menu they had run out of. Took over 2 and a half full hours to complete the meal - 20 minutes just to receive a coffee after meal. Was charged for ice cubes. Incredibly negative experience. On a positive note, the one filet we were able to order was cooked to perfection.

My husband and I have incorporated a dinner at the Dallas Fish Market with our holiday traditions. The food is so fresh, delicious and gorgeous. We love that they start the dinner with a mini appetizer and champagne. We’ve absolutely loved everything we’ve tried and our servers have always been very knowledgeable about the menu. I highly recommend the Dallas Fish Market for a special evening.

The worst restaurant I’ve visited on this site. Food was at best low to mediocre in quality. Small lower quality wine selections. The waitress made the experience tolerable.

Enabled a quiet, private room for business meeting with short notice. Several items on the menu were not available. They did not have Coke dispenser working. Waiter was ok, but prefer a little more energy, enthusiasm and empathy for restaurant short-comings (inability to provide Coke, inability to provide multiple dishes with lobster, etc.). Also, the table was left feeling like we had committed a major faux pas by asking for another helping of bread (which was the best part of the lunch - yummy!).

Food was excellent. Pre-dinner drinks arrived late - well after appetizers arrived. Explanation was "a large party ordered drinks just before your table". That is an inadequate response - plus we were a table of 7. Same was true after we ordered dinner - our "wine ipad" was taken from the table and I had to track down the manager to get it and order wine for the table.
