45 minute wait for wings—- awful
We made reservations, and we were there in ample time before our concert at State Farm Arena. We ordered our food, and after waiting about 30 minutes, our server informed us that the kitchen was backed up and that it would be at least 20-25 more minutes before our food “might” come out (a salad and burger). Given that it was now nearly an hour until the concert, and there would be an estimated security line to get into the arena, we canceled our food order, paid for the drinks we had and left without dinner. Very disappointing that the restaurant could t service their customers. It’s not as if this was the first concert or event next door.
Most of us wanted ribeyes only to learn none were available. Many of us ordered baked potatoes but mashed were served (without notice) since no baked potatoes were available. A few of us ordered wine only to learn they didn't have what we selected off the menu. The steaks came out at least a temperature more than requested. Too much time was passing to send them back.
Everyone in our party of 9 mentioned the prices were way too high for the value of the food.
Service was terrible. Food took forever.
Quick service, delicious food, and very friendly service from Angie! Have the blue crab claws and shrimp appetizer-blackened. We wish we had ordered two!
Soda was flat. Unable to repair as fountains were down. Order filled incorrectly. When repaired was time to leave for game.
The service was very very slow. Took over 45 minutes to get food.
good restaurant, good food, good service, close to the convention center
Good food. The Ribeye was large and tasty but a pretty thin cut. Garlic Mashed spuds were really good. Calamari app was fresh with a light batter.
The service was much too slow for a restaurant that wasn’t busy. A salad and burger took close to 30 min to come out of the kitchen
I showed up for my reservation and was told there would be a 25 min wait. When I asked why- she said because they aren’t taking reservations. I explained that I made a reservation on Open Table and she said they weren’t supposed to do that. They aren’t taking reservations. After asking for a manager, we were seated outside. Weather was a little chilly and no heaters- but at least we made it to our concert on time. VERY poor customer service!!!!
Had a good time...a little confusion with the reservation as I was able to book "counter seating" but when I arrived it was "first come first serve". However, the manager worked it out for us to sit in the bar with the TV so things worked out. The food was good and the crowd was energetic.
Called to let them know traffic was unusually bad from rain last Saturday night. They refused to hold our reservation for an extra few minutes. Plenty of empty tables upon arrival. Service very slow. Took 40 minutes to get our food which was meh. Asked for condiments which never arrived. Not a great experience.
Our waitress was rude and caused us to have a horrible time.
Great food, great service. Due to rain/traffic/United game/concert/ road closures, traffic was a nightmare. Was late for reservation but they graciously took our party of 4! I love Dantanna’s.
Sports bar in a great location
The only reason why people eat here is because it is close to the dome and arena. I would never eat at this place again. Awful. My wife and I were going to a concert at the adjacent arena so we decided to eat here. Bad mistake. The restaurant was half empty but it took 20 minutes to get the drink we ordered when the waitress finally greeted us after we had been seated for 10 minutes. It took an hour for our food to be delivered which was not what we asked for. My wife asked for a well done burger with sweet potato fries and her burger was presented with a red middle and regular fries. We also asked/paid for avocado on the side however it was on the burger. The burger was removed from our bill so my wife went and ordered a burger from BurgerFi inside the CNN center. Our server was sweet but this place was terrible. Never go here. Food is below average. Service is way slow. You are better off eating at a fast food restaurant inside the CNN center. Don’t waste your time or money on this place.
Took forever to get our drinks and my steak was med and I got it over well done. Another steak order rare and it was well done. Bad food and service.
Ugh. It was convenient but that's about all. Regret not looking further than across the street. Food and service were substandard.
Reserved a table for a pre-concert meal with five business clients. Food was great, service was excellent, the place was packed and the noise level was a little high, but we totally expected that for the night of a concert. Would definitely go there again to eat before a concert!
There was a big convent and a concert, but they were understaffed badly. Also it was VERY hot, I heard another guest say something about too
Great burger and Cuban sandwich. Service was fast and server was very attentive. Enjoyed everything.
The place was completely empty, but service from Britney was fantastic. She’s really good at what she does! Thank you.
Nothing bad to say but it was sad to see we had the only table. Granted it was a Tuesday night. Service and food was good though.
Multiple items on menu not available or changed.
Salad came with meal not before.
Sides missing from entree when served.
We arrived kind of late, maybe 9:30-ish. Very small crowd so we were seated right away. Can’t remember our servers name but she was fantastic!! I think she was one of the bartenders, we sat near the bar. Food was good, drinks were better. We’ll be back.
Perfect location if you are doing a show at State Farm Arena. Arrive early. Give yourself time and include it as part of your overall evening. We had great service. Environment is fun and all our meals were fresh and delicious.
Lamb burger was delicious!
Buckhead is better. Out of several menu items. Tuna tough and too sweet.
We had confirmed reservations but were still wait listed for 20 minutes past our reservation time. After seated and while reviewing our menus, we are told a mistake was made and w
Our table was given to us in error.
We reported to the sign in kiosk at the exact time of our reservation. I was told to go to the end of a 10-yard long line. They seated us 25 minutes later, and not in our requested booth. The hostess told us that Open Table had messed them up by taking reservations, which they normally do not do. I asked why, then, did they call me to confirm our reservation? We had to wait for a drink menu, and for water, and had to ask for napkins and cutlery. My wife ordered a Genesee Cream Ale; after a lengthy wait, we were informed that there was none. Two beers finally arrived, without glasses. Our two mixed drinks were served in plastic cups. My wife ordered a reuben. After a lengthy wait, we were told they were out. She ordered a pulled pork sandwich; we were told they were out. I asked our server, "What would you like for her to order?" She ordered the Nathan's famous hot dogs, one of which was dropped onto the floor before reaching our table. Once the food arrived, it was fair at best. We ended up with a lot of laughs, mocking Dantanna's futility, but a terrible dinner experience. We'll not be back. Ever.
We were going to a sold out concert at State Farm Arena (attached to Dantannas). I made a reservation for 6pm 2 weeks ago. We thought we had plenty of time to make an 8pm concert but we barely made it to our seats by 8pm. Not only did we get seated 20 minutes late, once we were seated the service was extremely slow. Shame on this restaurant for not being fully staffed/prepared knowing that there was a sold out concert that evening.
Always convenient and quick for events at State Farm Arena. The staff is sensitive to that and it’s much appreciated!
Extremely poor service. Air conditioning not on.
We were there prior to an event at the arena and they seemed unprepared for the crowd. It took 15 minutes to be seated, despite being on time for the reservation. They were out of the beer that was ordered and it was very hot in the restaurant. OUR service was excellent but the table next to us had to leave without eating to make the concert. The food was very good.
My food was delicious. What I don't understand is why restaurants feel they have to have loud music. It makes it hard for conversation. Especially when you are older.
Every thing was fine; the food, the service, as expected... l will return in the future.
Mia was very helpful all 6 times I called to change my reservations. Thanks Mia!
Service was extremely slow. Waiter was very disorganized, made several mistakes, and smelled of alcohol. He was apparently drunk. Ended up being a poor and embarrassing choice for a business lunch with clients.
