About De Dutch - Burrard Landing
Since 1975, this popular breakfast, brunch and lunch spot has satisfied the hunger cravings of British Columbians thanks to a tasty menu of sweet and savoury treats. Arrive hungry and order the signature Dutch Pannekoek, which tastes similar to a North American pancake but is only slightly thicker than a crepe. Fun fact: the large pannekoek can be cut into 113 square one-inch bites. Popular toppings for this substantial meal include The Canadian with bacon, eggs, tomatoes and maple syrup, and The Trail Mix with trail mix, honey and hot cinnamon-dusted apples. Located in the Convention Centre West, the Burrard Landing location offers stunning views of Stanley park and the North Shore.

De Dutch - Burrard Landing Ratings and Reviews
Service was inattentive and slow. Food was mediocre, not worth the price.
Had to wait 15 mins for table past reservation time, otherwise service was good.
My friend was frustrated and I was embarrassed: I took my friends here because the food was good. My waiter was not very responsive and seemed distracted all the time. My friend asked for butter for his bread but the waiter kept forgetting despite we gently reminded him a couple times. The waiter finally brought the butter but that was at the end of the meal right before he brought up the bill. One poorly performed waiter could ruin the whole thing. I was embarrassed and upset. The management needs improvement before I can come back again.
Good overall experience. Server did not refill my wife's coffee or water however.
Food delivery was prompt and servers were engaging. Front of house greeted us swiftly so we didn't have to stand around too long.
Seated right away with our open table reservation. We had an unexpected extra person which was accommodated nicely. Service was good and attentive - we all ordered breakfast and everyone was happy with their meals! Prices are reasonable for what you get!
My boyfriend and I were visiting from Chicago and this breakfast was amazing. Large portions, well worth the money, and it tasted amazing. He got French toast and I got the farmer's pancake (I can't remember how to spell it). So good! I would definitely recommend. Service was very friendly and fast as well. Our meals were huge and didn't take too long to come out and our server was very nice.
Great view and good food!
Everything was perfect for meeting with out of town relatives.
Food was tasty and service was friendly and quick. Went for Saturday brunch and would go again.
We love this restaurant. Every time we are in town we like to eat here. The food is delicious and is different from things we can get elsewhere.
Great for family meals, especially breakfast/brunch; lots of variety. The service was excellent for our recent birthday brunch visit; staff were very friendly and helpful throughout. Food was great and the location is second to none, especially if you've got out of town guests!
The manager is erogant and very disrespectful to the customers. He doesn't care about meeting the customer's needs and wishes. He can ruin the whole experience for you!
Great food and excellent gluten free options. Staff was extremely knowledgeable about which options had cross contamination potential. Wonderful breakfast!
We went to The Dutch on Canada Place, I was celebrating my birthday. I was willing to be in a place with an awesome view and good food, for that reason I booked a table on the day before. Turn out they placed us in the worst spot of the house without any view at all, and also smelling. We spoke to the manager, which was very rude and impolite. He also said we were tourists and we shouldn't complain, besides the fact that we weren't tourists, I don't think that's a reason to treat the guest that way. Anyways, we waited 1hour and 15min to be placed in another table!! Unexpectedly, the waiter (Sardor), responsible to our table, was amazing, very nice and polite! Thanks to him the day was not a total catastrophe! But not coming back there again!!
tasty pancakes... we'll be going back to this place
Great place to visit when in Canada Place. Good view and food is really tasty for breakfast. Service was also great and we had a big party.
My mom and I came here for our annual Canada Day brunch - it was her first time! The view was spectacular, the food was delicious and the service was friendly - even though it was busy! My mom especially LOVED the veggie hash! For someone who never finishes her meals, she polished it off! Thank you De Dutch - and an even bigger thank you for being so accomodating to our reservations (despite the fact we were 6 mins late)!
Great food and view
Poor service, food mediocre.
Beau restaurant sur le bord avec une vue extraordinaire sur les montagnes.
Beautiful location, excellent services, great brunch menu !
We were there for a Mothers' Day early afternoon lunch with our 84 year old mother, and it was a good experience for all of us.
We went on Mother's Day. Service was extremely slow, it took over one hour for us ( after we were seated) to get our food. Our young kids were starving and when my meal came , it was barely warm. The manager clearly did not staff Mother's Day with enough people. I felt sorry for the servers being run ragged - not their fault but we had a unpleassnt Mother's Day. Nobody even apologized for the long wait and just pretended everything was okay.
Just the old floor, to much milk in the cappuccino and servers' sloppy dressing style got my evaluation down. I love the rest.
a real hidden gem. It's tricky to find, but once you do - you are rewarded with YUMMY food.
Fabulous service for our huge group! 18 friends that just finished the Vancouver Marathon and needed food and drinks STAT!! They were able to accommodate a late change and pushed the reservation back 30 minutes, were so, so friendly! The food was super yummy and they kept our drinks coming! The view is also fantastic! Would definitely recommend!
Beautiful setting at the Vancouver sea plane pier and near cruise ship terminal. Amazing combination of traditional Dutch with west coast fresh ingredients. So satisfying for breakfast or lunch/brunch and it reminded me of food in Edam Netherlands!
Had a great experience, was not expecting to have a separate room which was great! Food was great, service was great, the only downside was the location was harder to find than we thought and half the group was quite late but they were understanding and didn't rush us out.
Great views, private room for groups, and awesome breakfast.
Fabulous food and service. Spectacular view. It was perfect for our mother daughter away weekend.
Fantastic food with friendly staff. This was my second visit and the food was exactly the same as last time - great consistency
I love the food from all the De Dutch's I have been to but this was by far the nicest one. Amazing view and great service!!
When we arrived, we didn't need to wait to get seated. Coffee was good.
But Food wasn't warm enough, had to wait for a while to order. Maybe short on staff?
Went with friends from the UK for brunch. Great location and the food was good for casual breakfast.
The Canuck Plate was excellent, French Toast, eggs and bacon. Lots of food.
Hostess was rude when told we had a reservation and snapped "well we aren't busy I HAVE a table for you!"
And shot dirty looks our way later when talking to coworker.
Waitress was very pleasant thankfully.
Food was less than impressive, eggs had zero taste and pannenkoeken didn't have much flavour and texture was off. Bananas in the pannenkoeken had very strong artificial flavour, sort of like they had been in a syrup.
Coffee was decent.
Had a family brunch - booked a table of 8 but called early in the morning to make it a table for 9, and they accommodated us. Service was excellent, menu was diverse.
Yummy breakfast and great view of the planes landing and taking off. This is a great casual brunch spot.
I have one complaint -- not horrible but worth mentioning. When I made the reservation I requested a table for 2 by a window with a view. (This restaurant has lovely water and mountain views.) I arrived 5 minutes early to find that even though the restaurant was mostly empty, both tables with the view I requested were already occupied and I was seated at a small table, one row away from the windows. I thought to myself, "Could they not look at the special request on the reservation and perhaps place a 'Reserved' sign on one of the tables?" It all turned out OK when one of these tables came free about ten minutes later and I requested that we be moved to it. Both the host and our server were extremely accommodating and pleasant about this, so I ended up very pleased with the overall experience.
The food was very disappointing. The famous pancake was slightly burned - I should have sent it back. My husband had the French toast which was very dry (the egg had not penetrated the bread at all). On the bright side, this location has a beautiful view of the marina and mountains.
