Dels Enoteca Pizzeria Ratings and Reviews
Amazing food, amazing atmosphere and amazing service. It was a pleasure to celebrate two special Birthdays!
Great night out! Good wine, and great food. Our server Chris was awesome. Food arrived faster than expected. Good food selection that is not overwhelming. Only complaint was it was a little dark so hard to read the menu.
Had trouble finding healthy food options on the menu. Parking spots are very small, difficult to park with a larger vehicle.
Our server Shavonne was exceptional! Very professional, friendly and accommodating to our requests. Made the night very enjoyable.
Excellent food! Service was slow but was very busy. Worth the wait for sure!
Wonderful restaurant. We really enjoy it every time we go there. The pizza is great and we love the flower pot bread
Location was extremely convenient as we were staying at the attached hotel. The food, overall, was satisfactory. However, the timing of service and food prep leaves a lot to be desired. It took over an hour to receive any bread or appetizers. We weren't in a rush, but did not expect to spend 2 1/2 hours to complete our meal.
I was excited to take my family to Dels. We love Italian and pizza and heard of this place owned by the Wideman family. We made reservations for a Saturday night and found the service terribly slow. Our Caesar salads were chopped up into little pieces and barely had any dressing on it. My wife and I ordered pizza''s and hers was served in a puddle of water. We sent it back and got another one exactly the same. The waitress was fantastic, the manager comped us deserts, which was nice, however our family dinner experience was not a good one, considering we did not get to eat at the same time. My wife decided to take the pizza home. We reheated it the next day and found a ball of hair in it and because it was packaged wet, it stuck to the cardboard box. I don't think we will be returning anytime soon. I do have to say that the staff were fantastic.
Great food and service
We decided to deal with October weather blues by going out for some fun and good food. Del's is consistently bang-on with this. It took longer than expected to be acknowledged by the four hostesses but we we're then promptly seated and greeted by our waiter Chris who is charming, fun, sincere and well-versed in the menu. Instead of ordering the usual app and main we wanted to share and sample a bunch of different items. Chris and the kitchen were very accommodating. Even Dave the general manager was very much part of the team delivering food, clearing tables and talking to guests. Great vibe, not too loud, cool decor and we loved everything we tried. Next time we have to try the pizza. That will be soon.
Yummy and awesome for
Best pizza ever, also best gluten free pizza. service was great, friendly staff.
Great food good service nice atmosphere. Highly recomend Dells if you want a good meal. Love the flower pot bread and the chicken parmigiana.
Great food for all in our groups, absolutely no complaints.
A friend recommended Dels and we decided to go for our anniversary dinner. We had an 830 reservation so the place had quieted down significantly by the time we got there. The service was excellent and the place is beautiful. For the appetizer we had the Arancini (stuffed risotto balls) and they were excellent. It's too bad there were only 3 of them. I'd recommend having an option for 5 or 6 and just charging more. For diner my wife had the Zucchini Primavera. I had a taste and it was very good. I had the Braised beef Ragu. There was lots of beef, which was a plus, but the dish overall was very bland. I expected a lot more flavor. I'm not a picky eater but I wouldn't recommend that particular dish. Overall it was a good experience.
Wanted to try Del’s for a birthday celebration in March, but list was too long and we couldn’t wait. We decided to celebrate 16-year-old daughter’s birthday there a few days ago, since two other daughters go to university (Guelph & Laurier) close by. Made reservations for an early dinner before arriving in Kitchener. We’re so glad we didn’t change our minds! Great service & delicious food brought to us in a timely manner. Only one thing missing from the menu...some kind of soup should be offered, especially since colder seasons ahead. Waitress did call upstairs restaurant to see what was available, but the only one didn’t suit my daughter’s taste. Everyone loved the family special. Caesar salad, margarita pizza and the chicken tetrazzini were all soooo good. We’ll definitely be returning!
It was pretty good overall a couple of small things. We asked for another flower pot bread(it is awesome with the herb garlic butter) and never got it. Would of preferred a booth seat and we should of asked because we had young kids with us and it is better for us to be tucked away from all the foot traffic.
Thank you very much for a great night. The waitress was very kind, and nice. The food was delicious and the ambiance in general was good. I'm definitely recommending it and coming back.
Last two times we ate there the kitchen got one of our orders wrong and we ended up eating at different times
everything was great ezcept for their new peach desert they were pushing, very bland and boring
Another wonderful experience, great service, great food and great price. We will be back again soon.
Great vibe and friendly staff. They offer all their pizza with a gluten free crust, which is really nice!
We had the Chicken Parm and the Beef Tenderloin with Risotto. Overall it was great. The one thing that made it a 4 for me was I felt the risotto though delicious had sat for a while on my plate. You can tell with the way it looked. I would have preferred it been plated at the same times as my steak. But service was great and over all we were quite happy here. Will definitly go again.
We absolutely love it here!
The kids love it too!!
It would be nice to see a larger wine list and more cocktails. My husband didn't enjoy his pizza with the sour onions on it. Over all it was an enjoyable evening with family
Food was good but our waitress Allison would simply disappear for long periods of time (over 15-20 minutes). We waited a long time to order then once we ordered we waited a long time for the meal to come . Somebody else brought the salad and somebody else brought our meal later. When we were done there was no sign of Allison and we waited a long time and finally someone else cleared our dishes. We waited a long time to pay and finally Allison showed up . The bill was $82 and we decided to pay cash with a $100 bill. Allison first asked if we wanted change which is ridiculous. This would have meant an $18 tip on a $82 ( after tax) meal, a 22 % tip which was not due because of the bad service. Then when we said yes Allison asked us how much change she should bring which is a very distasteful thing for a waitress to say to a customer as she was putting us on the spot to give her a tip. We told her to bring all the change. I left a $10 tip which she did not deserve since all she really did was take our order then bring the bill and nothing in between.
So my experience was overall good as the food was delicious as always but seriously Allison needs to do her job and she needs to develop some customer service skills
Fantastic restaurant. Can’t really think of a negative thing to say about my experience which if you knew me is really saying something :-)
We had a wonderful waitress who provided great service. We had a wedding group behind us and staff were really busy.
She still managed service with cheerfulness and took time to answer our questions.
Would go back.
We were looked after very well by our server Jesse. The food was great. Chicken parmigiana is always a treat. Thank you for making dinner so I didn't have to.
Great service and a free Anniversary dessert. One of our favourite spots for a romantic dinner.
Always accommodating to dietary needs.
Everything was excellent with only minor exception. We ordered the calamari as our appetizer. We've enjoyed this dish before and were looking forward to it. This time the calamari wasn't stuffed with the sausage as it was previously, the sausage was served on the side. Also the olives served with the dish overpowered the other flavours. Aside from this small issue the rest of our meal was fantastic and the service, as always, was great.
Service was a bit slow, food was delicious but we were all disappointed with the serving size. Espically on the ravioli.
Absolutely amazing. The service was extremely good, the beverage list was more than enough and food was beyond perfection.
Great food, we always enjoy going. Salmon and salad was a bit small portion size, I was still hungry after finishing. But, have never thought that after getting pizza or pasta. Would recommend going.
Celebrated Fathers Day here with a group of 5. Food was fresh. Hot. Prepared well. Tasted amazing. Server was a bit inattentive. Had to ask for more water several times. More butter. Etc. Was a busy night tho. Overall a great dinner.
A great italian casual place for food.
Dinner was good, service was good. Dessert was yummy but a ridiculous price for what we got!
Quality of food and dining experience is amazing and one of the best in the city
