This was our first visit to Deseo, walking in we were impressed at the warm and beautiful ambiance. Our server was friendly, helpful and attentive. But it went downhill from there. The apple salad was fresh but average, the lobster tacos were very small and a bit mushy, the shrimp chicharron was too dry. The best thing were the dinner rolls.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Deseo last Saturday. The manager and staff did an amazing job taking care of us and making it special for my wife and I. We will go again and would recommend Deseo to anyone and not just for special occasions.

Excellent menu with many delicious choices. Waiter greeted us by name. Service was extraordinary. Came here when it first opened and the quality is still maintained. I would recommend it for a special occasion for foodies who are willing to try interesting taste combinations.

Great food selection. Not much selection for a vegetarian or vegan but they did have some options. Great wine selection with all South American wines including great Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon options. Price is what you would expect for a restaurant in a hotel. Excellent service and ambience.

The service at Desseo was excellent. We went 2 nights on our vacation because it was so good. The food is fresh, fast and delicious. We would highly recommend the lobster ceviche!

This restaurant offers a great wine flight deal , and the deal ends there small portions make this restaurant a hard sell since majority of their dishes are priced at the main dish price for a small portion. The food was ok . The service a little rushed .

We were there last year and decided to go back while we were in town again for Valentine’s Day but we cancelled as they we’re having a set menu at a very high price. We decided to dine in on February 21st and enjoy some wine and ceviches! The atmosphere, food & over all experience is amazing! We found the millionaire tacos to have been better last year. I’ll still give it 5 stars! Even better if your a resort owner you get 20% off your entire bill which is very generous of the Westin/ Marriott to do that. It’s definitely a place we do L💜VE to eat at when in Scottsdale. If your looking for Latin Fusion experience this is the place to try!

Most booths face inward towards larger seating so a little noisy, not bad. Hostess which we’ve now encountered in our 2 only visits was lukewarm at best with low energy, mediocre greeting, and a touch of an “attitude”. Not sure she should be a hostess as she is the first impression setting the tone for the dining experience. Phillip redeemed our experience the first time we ate there and we loved sitting at the bar the first time watching Eric do all the ceviche prep With Phillip as our waiter who couldn’t have been better!. Our waitress this last time seemed a little bothered and tired, not really wanting to explain much on the menu.... More of a “cafe” experience rather than a nicer dining experience. We were dressed up and out for our Valentine dinner so it was a little disappointing. Food was great though and so was the nice man bussing the table. We think waiter Philip is amazing but he was servicing a different area this night . He was the reason we came back a second time, not expecting to encounter the same hostess situation and an indifferent waitress. We will ask to be seated in Phillip’s area next time. We notified manager on both occasions. Hope to see some improvement and willing to give it one more try.

Service was slow and after mentioning that this was our first dining experience the waitress did not explain menu items as you would expect from a high end establishment. As a result when the food arrived the portions were way smaller than expected. Do not go here hungry.

Special Valentine's day menu was not enjoyable. unusual selections had to pay $6.00 for warm bread that on any other day is free. I gave a no on recommending to a friend because everything else can be great but if the food does not measure up it's all wasted. I only went because I couldn't get a reservation at Ruth's Cris Steak House.

Service was outstanding. No wait for our table. Had scallops for dinner and they were incredible. Dark chocolate mousse for dessert was creamy and delicious. Margaritas were fresh with just the right amount of tequila. Would definitely come back!

Our dinner was delicious, as it always is at Deseo. The crab appetizer was wonderful! For the main course, we ordered the scallops and the short ribs and shared them both. The sauce on the short ribs was really too sharp for me. My one complaint is that the dishes were not as hot as they usually are . . . the plates were hot but the food really wasn't.

The place, the food, and the atmosphere were all amazing. Only thing is that we had to wait 10-15mins to be seated even when we had reservation set up 4-5hours prior to our dinner. Definitely would recommend the place though..

We have dined at Deseo for the past 12 years. We have always enjoyed the ambiance, wait staff have always enhanced our dining experience, and most importantly the food. They have never disappointed us. It is always a treat when we dine at Deseo. On this particular occasion, we were seated in full view of the chef and his staff. It was a wonderful experience seeing our food being transformed to a masterpiece.
