    I had no idea what we were in for accept that the location was perfect and the menu appealed to me - that's how I chose Deuxave. It more than met my expectations - evidenced by the duck which came 'medium rare' as ordered. I look forward to our next visit.

    We made a reservation for a high top table but when we got there they put us at the bar since all the high tops were taken; disappointed but all worked out fine. Devin the bar tender was amazing, service was outstanding but the kitchen was backed up; our reservation was at 7:30pm and our dinner did not come out till 9:00pm; bar tender was very apologetic; he was perfect. Would go back for the food and for the bartender for sure!!!

    Everything was Amazing (ambience, food, service). Worth every penny! One of my favorite restaurants of all time and I have been to many fine dining establishments all around the world. I will definitely be back to try their other menu items. I give this restaurant extra points for not feeling “stuffy” and for being able to have a nice conversation with my husband without having to yell over myself for him to be able to hear me.

    Outstanding French onion soup. Did not expect to pay $24. Terrific halibut. Fennel cucumber salad. Good fish source. Lobster and potato gnocchi/ flavorful. Excellent chocolate soufflé. Crème Anglaise does not need graham cracker flavor. Burnt Marshmallow ice cream- OK. Consider chocolate z grand Marnier flavor.Stormalanf hard cider. Does not compare to French cidres. Had tart for carry out . Asked for fork and spoon . Asked if utensils were in bag as leaving. Told , yes. No utensils provided. Overall excellent experience. San pellegrino water - good. Better tolerated than Perrier. Some French restaurants carbonate their own water. Also Boston tap water safer than from other cities. French onion soup not on current menu. Atlantic halibut less intense flavor than Pacific Alaskan. Had come with larger group several days earlier. Duck breast entree- was excellent. Some flavors are Mediterranean or middle eastern accents. I would also consider French bread type be served. Evening can be culinary experience. Worth coming.

    It's the best French restaurant I've been to in the US. The details and experience were meticulously thought through and wonderfully executed. We had a wonderful time. It's a decent value, too. 2 bottles of wine, multiple apps, an entree, and dessert for $250/person with tax and tip. I will be adding this to my restaurant lineup.

    This is really a 3.5 star review but I rounded up. I really wanted to like this more, but the experience fell flat and let the food down. We came in for our anniversary and were hoping for a special night. The food was great- standouts were the steak, crab salad and matcha mousse. Unfortunately the service didn’t match the top tier prices. We never really had a dedicated server and it felt like we were an after thought and at times, literally forgotten. While I observed the two top next to us receiving VERY attentive and dedicated service, we instead struggled to find any service for 25 minutes after finishing dinner (as in, we were pushing our plates to the side and trying to get anyone’s attention to clear). The couple next to us were offered an amuse bouche which we were not offered and it made us feel slighted, particularly on this special evening. Honestly, after waiting so long for dinner to be cleared I just wanted to leave which isn’t the experience you hope for at a place like this. Obviously I’m hoping this was a one off experience but it was hard to ignore others around us getting attentive and proper service.

    Nothing to complain about. Seasonal French food at it's best. The duck liver paté and scallops were delicious. Loved the matcha dessert too. Our waiter was great, very professional. Paced very timely and not rushed at all. Next time I'm in town I'll come back here.

    This has been one of our go-to restaurants for several years. and it will continue to be. It's not a quick night out. Service is not fast, but then again, we don't want it to be. Wonderful staff-courteous and knowledgeable. Food is terrific, with periodic updates to the menu, as seasons change.

    Dinner at Deuxave was devine. Service was fully attentive without being intrusive. Steak and scallops were both cooked perfectly and served with delicious sides. Portions were well sized. Only regret was that we were both too full to try any of the mouth watering desserts on the menu.

    I have been to this restaurant a few times and always had a great experience. I decided to celebrate my birthday in this restaurant and was disappointed with my experience. I told my waiter that I have a citrus allergy and can't have lemon, vinegar, tomato, and all sour tastes in my dishes. He said he would check with the chef and came back saying they could accommodate my allergy. However, he repeated that he had never heard of this kind of allergy and asked me to spell the word "citrus" for him due to my accent. It's unacceptable for a waiter to be disrespectful and unprofessional towards a customer, especially when it comes to a food allergy. My husband had to speak to another staff member to address the issue. Overall, I was very disappointed with the service and quality of the food. As a result, my birthday dinner was ruined.

    We had a wonderful evening and meal. It was a special evening for us as we were celebrating our 16th anniversary. Pamala our server for the evening was lovely.     This was a repeat visit because we loved the food the first time. We had the duck breast and the bass….the bass was smaller in portion size compared to the last time, and the dish on the sour side. The appetizer of crab salad was on the sweeter side but good. The cocktails were fantastic!

    Absolutely wonderful experience. Service was fantastic across the entire staff, but especially our waiter. Every dish was excellent. I could easily see them asking double the price. This was true fine dining at a very affordable price point.

    We had some amazing food and great drinks with polite and helpful service. The service was fairly slow with between 20-30 minutes in between getting checked on and overall 2.5 hours for appetizers, entrees and a dessert. It was also quite expensive, but I feel well worth it.

    This is a wonderful place for a special night out. The waitstaff was very attentive. My husband thought the duck pate appetizer was delicious. I had the duck breast entree and it was tender and flavorful. When the staff found out we were celebrating my birthday, they added a candle to my chocolate cremeux dessert and did NOT sing to me. I'd go back in a heartbeat!

    We have two semi-private alcoves that accommodate up to 12 guests in each. We can also host buyout dinners for 30-68 people including room for a reception. We can also accommodate reception only events for up to 100 guests. We are open for dinner service only, 7 days a week.
