Bottomless mimosas were not an option because they didn’t have enough champagne according to the bartender. Also very bitter and dry mimosas - I tried the peach, pineapple, mango and raspberry. Somehow the raspberry one was the best. Not sweet at all. Food was pretty good, probably the only thing the place has going for it.

Went for Mothers Day brunch. Service was good but food was nothing special and served cold. Mimosa selection was very nice however. Super loud in the restaurant. No way to carry on a conversation. Won't go again on a special occasion.

This was my first time at Dexter's brunch. I though the food took too long and was not hot. However, I do understand that it was Mother's Day and very crowded. I intend to give the brunch another shot because I like the restaurant.

Booked reservations 2 weeks out. The hostess wanted us to seat 5 people in a 4 top. The food was less than to be desired & the noise level was high due to unruly Preston’s at brunch. We won’t be back to celebrate much of anything there again.

Let’s assume it must of been an off night for Dexters. It took 20 mins to get a round of water and place our wine order. Sooner or later the wine was delivered. So we said can we at least place a quick order for the cha-cha chips while we look over the menus. The chips come out and looked like they were pulled from another table that finished and served them to us. Just ridiculous the few chips and looked like the bottom of the barrel. Totally unacceptable! Needless to say it took forever to place our order for food. I could go on and on, but to sum it up … 2 hours at Dexter for dinner seems a bit excessive!!! Crazy! I’m really hoping it was just an off night as I will try them again. The old saying 3 strikes your out.

Dexters is really just a bar food menu. I have a gluten allergy and nearly all restaurants can accommodate it, not Dexters. The server seemed irritated when is asked about gluten in food items and after a bit of debate she went back to ask the kitchen about one dish. No interest in showing me what was safe to eat. I gave up and did the best I could. Also my teen son would not eat the cheeseburger he ordered because he said it tasted funny. He never complains about a cheeseburger. This is my second time going and both experiences were the same. Horrible menu considering all of the other nice restaurants around it in the same plaza. Beware of an empty restaurant on a Friday evening!

Great location and great service! We came during brunch and there were great options. We ordered the breakfast bowl, blackened chicken and shrimp salad, kid’s chicken & cheese quesadilla, 2 buffalo chicken sandwiches (which was stated by my cousin the best one he’s had so far), Colby cheeseburger, and an omelette. Manager was also helping out on this day & was very friendly, even shared the history of Dexters with us.

This was our first visit and we were not disappointed. First, the service was excellent. The uptown French dip sandwich with truffle fries was exceptional. And the Smith Salmon salad was delicious - light but surprisingly filling. All in all, we will definitely make Dexters one of our favorites!

Reservation made through app. Had to add that we wanted seating near the band and that was done. Called to say we were going to be 15 minutes late and that was accepted. Table ready when we got there. Server was very nice. Refilled water glasses readily. Wonderful meal. Filet was tender and cooked just right. Salmon was also excellent. Both expensive and worth every penny. Wanted to taste wine before ordering a bottle which was no problem and tasted very complimentary to both meals. (Broadside cab) Went to see Sound Theory and they were great, too! Wonderful evening/experience all around.

Took my girlfriend here for Valentine's Day dinner. I made us reservations and when we arrived our table was ready with a nice electronic candle in the middle. They had a special Valentine's Day menu aswell as their normal menu items avaliable. We ordered drinks, I had the Espresso Martini and she had the Strawberry Mojito. Both drinks were delicious. We ordered the Brussel Sprouts Caprese for an appetizer and it was quite unique and delicious. We both ordered our meals from the Valentine's menu. I ordered the Cajun Seasoned Ribeye(med rare) with Shrimp and she ordered the Fillet(med rare) with Mushroom Glaze. My steak was cooked perfectly and everything was delicious. Her steak came to the table Black and Blue, pretty much still raw in the center. We let our waiter know and he was quick to rectify the situation. After around 10 minutes our waiter brought out a new steak for her. It was cooked how she wanted this time. The ambiance was great, the noise level wasn't bad, the food was delicious even with the temperature mistake, and we will definitely be back to dine again.

Food continues to be sub par since Covid. They are struggling to hang on to this location. The bar is the only thing that seems to people coming back. Service I isn’t great either. Dexters once was THE place to be for fun, food and drinks in Lake Mary. It’s just not good anymore.

The Dexters special sandwich was delicious and the service was good but the noise level made it difficult to carry on a conversation.

We had a very nice lunch and when we arrived we were taken to a table right away. The food was good and our waiter was excellent. We will definately go back!
