Great food and great service. Definitely recommend.
Consistently excellent. We’re so lucky to have this standout restaurant in East Roswell and we could use more like it. Never disappointed.
The only issue that we had with our dinner event was the wine poor....not what we expected. If the pour had been better, I would have ordered another glass.
Other than the pour, we enjoyed our dinner and will be back.
Thanks for asking.
Super crowded Friday night -- bar was hopping and vibe was fun! Our server Chris was very informative and obviously knows the menu inside and out! Great specials! Food was plentiful and delicious! Great wine and fabulous bar service by Zach.
Love this place! Service is great and the food even better. Whether you are at the bar letting your favorite bartender “Zack” serve up your favorite drinks, or relaxing in the dining room.
DiPalo never disappoints.
Fantastic Italian Food. Incredible Bread. Have wood burning oven behind bar.
Half pasta portions available. Excellent ingredients--olive oil, fresh made pastas. Great small plates to share as well.
Always exceptional food and service!
We were very disappointed in our dining experience on New Years Eve.
The food was just okay.I ordered a half portion of linguine with shrimp muscles and clams .
There were 2 shrimp 2 muscles and 2 clam over a 1 cup of pasta
Prices were high . My husband ordered the lamb. He said it was okay and also pricey .
We will not return .
Not our best experience at this restaurant but if you eat somewhere enough times, you're bound to catch them on an off night. My meal and my wife's were "good" tonight but not "great". Love this place overall.
Searching for a restaurant to celebrate my 14 year old granddaughter ‘s birthday, I showed her several menus, and she picked Di Paolo! She knew just what she wanted, the antipasto and lasagna, and she was thrilled with it. It was so easy to reserve on line, and everything I requested was provided, the table I wanted, and the special birthday dessert. Everyone loved the food they ordered, from the lamb shanks to the mussels! Some of our group opted for the 1/2 portions of pasta, so they could try more than one!
We shared several delicious desserts as well as the birthday one. Perfect service! A splendid birthday celebration!
Had the special which on this night was a seafood pasta. It was excellent, the scallops were à point and the noodles just al dente. The broth was rich in flavor without being greassy. Also had flounder, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Perfect with a bottle of Italian Pinot Griggio.
We continue to appreciate the consistency of excellence in food at Paulo's.
Christmas Eve dinner! Was perfect!
The only negative was the fact that we were seated at 8:15 PM for a 7:30 PM reservation - with a minimal apology.
We've lived her almost 7 years and have never been until now and we loved it!
What a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Thanks Di Paolo!
Perfection. Server Matthew was amazing. Bartender Zach awesome. Owners very attentive.
Great dinner as usual, di Paolo never disappoints!
The food is always excellent. Portion size for me is perfect.
The food is delicious and innovative. I really enjoyed a pasta with parsnip entree — I would eat here more often if there were more vegetarian options.
This is our favorite Italian restaurant in the Roswell/Johns Creek/Alpharetta area! It is the closest food experience we can get to eating in Italy!
Everything is always what we expect when we go there! We always have a wonderful evening and the food is delicious!
Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Not afraid to point you towards their favorites on the menu, which I appreciate. Always enjoy going to Di Paolo.
Food was delish and the service was outstanding. We'll definitely be back!
Food was not good, I like the place, and food in past was much better
Nice wine list, food always excellent. Caesar salad w/anchovies excellent and half size entrée a welcome option. Bar serves a healthy size drink. One of our favorites and around the corner from Dunwoody.
Always an excellent dinner here; fabulous and very professional service, the best Italian food and comprehensive wine list. Our go-to spot for dinner with friends, family, or dinner for 2.
Great food great server
Fantastic food, friendly staff and cozy atmosphere! Have been going here over the past 15 years and it’s always wonderful .
As always the dinner was fabulous, dessert was delicious the wine was wonderful and the service was good. The lasagna was the perfect thing on a cold rainy night. The pork tenderloin was also wonderful as well as the rigatoni. Everyone was happy with their choices. We love Di Paolo and will be back soon.
It was our anniversary and no-one acknowledge it - was on the open table reservation.
Very nice place. Great atmosphere and wait staff. Food was wonderful.
Good every time
Wonderful wine list. Delicious entrees - scallops tasty, lasagna big enough for leftovers and superb, scallopini great, lamb shank very tender and fell off the bone, bruschetta one of our faves. Sad couldn’t have Caesar salad (romaine off the menu) but the Caprese and hearts of Palm salads both very nice. Definitely a neighborhood gem worth the drive if you don’t live nearby.
Food is always excellent. My only complaint is that I forget to go there at times
Food was very good. Disappointed at what I would consider few dessert options. No Tiramisu at an Italian restaurant? We sat in the back section near the bathrooms and I could smell what I thought was urinal soap smell drifting from the bathrooms. It was not a problem but mention it as a heads up to management. Great value for the quality food.
If you want authentic northern Italian food. This is one of the best in the Atlanta area.
The food at diPaolo’s is always excellent & that keeps us going back a few times a year. The only criticism is the service. I can’t figure out why a restaurant that is so popular & upscale seems to always be short-handed—even at 7:30pm, the busiest time. The serving staff often appear frazzled rather than professional. They are less attentive than at lesser quality restaurants, sometimes even MIA for longer periods than one would expect. I have not reported this previously but decided to after our most recent visit. It’s really something that needs addressing. So outstanding food, average or below service.
di Paolo is a gastronomic experience. The ambience is quiet and very romantic but the food is exquisite. It is authentic Italian food and it is delicious. Now you don't know this but I lived in New Jersey and I can tell you that the bread is authentic as well as the entrees. The wine was very good and it was on sale, which was a bargain to me. I recommend di Paolo highly as one of the best if not the best Italian restaurant in Atlanta. In Alpharetta, you will have a hard time finding a better Italian restaurant. Excellent culinary experience. This is not the first or the last time I eat here. As stated, excellent authentic Italian cuisine.
This is a nice place to go as a couple or a couple of friends. It's quiet, on the small side, so you don't have to shout across the table as you do in some of the 'warehouse' style venues. The pasta is made in-house and you can't go wrong with any of the choices there.
Save room for dessert.
My only complaint with this restaurant has nothing to do with the venue and everything to do with the 'locals' who wander in as if they've just walked the dog on a hot afternoon. Otherwise I would say this is a nice special occasion restaurant but it's hard to feel special when the guy sitting across from you is in ratty shorts (and there's always, at least, one of those).
The food was good not great. Lacked fish options. Wine by the glass selection small. Overall food lacked character.
