Very loud but outstanding food and service!
Tried and true, a wonderful restaurant that is worth the drive for authentic fresh Italian with professional wait staff and great ambiance.
A true neighborhood restaurant; unpretentious from the outside yet consistently delivering a great dining experience.
Fresh & authentic meal - return often and have brought others!
DiPaola was our first date restaurant, and we have loved it ever since. Great Caesar salad, and wonderful homemade pasta. Terrific martinis and warm staff members.
I live in Az. My brother and sister-in-law live in Roswell. Whenever I visit I ALWAYS want to eat at Di Paolo. The selection of dishes, the quality and flavor and the ambiance is always excellent. The noise level is pretty high,,,,,but, the food is worth it. Thank you for making my brother’s birthday extra special with the candle, whipped cream and biscotti!!
only problem is noise level. Excellent food and service.
Our favorite place for special occasions! Highly recommend. Wonderful and attentive staff. Husband/wife team, he’s the chef and she manages. Very nice wine list. Homemade ingredients including ricotta, mozzarella, pasta and desserts. Bruschetta choices very good - both the regular on the menu and the special of the day. Excellent scallops, lasagna and seafood. Almond biscotti delicious dessert for the birthday we celebrated.
The service was extremely slow to the point we had to talk to the Manager to try to speed things up. We have been there several times and this was by far the worst we have ever experienced.
Fantastic meal at di Paolo. Took the entire family on Sunday and liked it so much, had a date night there on Thursday. We will be back often.
Hidden treasure for the Northside. Small, personal with a good mix of new customers and regulars. Food is outstanding and accented with rotating specials. Wine menu is outstanding.
Selfishly hoping this remains a hidden treasure....but still worth letting others know about.
Always amazing food and service! Best Italian restaurant in Atlanta by far
Good food service and fun
92nd birthday day for grandma....over 2hrs and 15 min to get in and out...mind you 6:15 we were sat this wasn’t at 7 Pm..not by choice..we were served a birthday dessert that we didn’t even ask for ...which took an extra 20 minutes...and then we were charged for it lol..not to mention the additional “mista” charge which never was ordered either. Pizza was fantastic till I got to a slice that was so crispy it chipped my tooth..you can’t make this ish up left my wine on the table and ran out.
Excellent wine selection. Excellent food. Excellent service.
Loved this restaurant when we lived close by and then moved to Florida. Came back to Atlanta and brought our friends for vacation and made Di Paolo our first stop. All staff goes the extra mile with little things in service that make it special and memorable. Our food was great as always and service impeccable. We miss eating here regularly and always highly recommend it.
As always di Paolo’s does not disappoint. The Salmon special was outstanding even though I asked for a change to the chefs published presentation. And the pasta cooked perfectly al dente. Highly recommended this restaurant if you’ve not had the pleasure of dining here
The food was just ok and they lost our order and it took forever for our entrees to come out. We have been eating there for years and this was the worst experience yet!!
Always one of our favorites!
Don’t waste your time or money
Everything is good. You won't be disappointed.
Bolognese was awesome
I had the clams pasta. The new clams were just wonderful .
Just love Di Paolo, have been going there for years. Food is wonderful, always fresh and very tasty. Service is always prompt and attentive. Great atmosphere, little hidden Italian gem.
Overpriced. Located in a strip mall. Good but nor great and again, overpriced for a strip mall location and ambiance and good but certainly not great food.
Great place with great food . Our server was Heather, who was amazing. She gave us great recommendations and made the dinner more enjoyable.
Sat at bar , bartender great, responsive and knowledgeable about food. Food worth coming back for as we always do despite living in Milton.
We came to this restaurant because it had good reviews. All I can say is that it must be a place that the locals frequent, because I do not know why they had good reviews. The food was ok. Nothing bad, but nothing worth going back for. We had 3 dishes all recommended by the server...and all of them were ok. The lasagna was swimming in a red sauce that was ok. The tagliatelle did not have sauce but rather a broth. The mushroom raviolis were lacking taste in the actual mushrooms. The meat and cheese appetizer was delicious, and the bread at table was great. The service was ok. They had moments of brilliance, but also moments of slow, ignoring of the table. We waited a while for our check to come, and despite wanting coffee and dessert, we chose to leave rather than wait for an undetermined amount of time. Again, nothing bad, but nothing making me come back.
We have been going here for years. The food is always dependable.
We go early because we like to quietly talk to each other after a busy day at work.
Love this restaurant! It never fails. Good food and good drinks!
Our family of 4 enjoyed our dinner. We eat here often and always enjoy the food and wine. However, tonight the entree I ordered was so small - only 3 scallops and not very much risotto. I was disappointed.
As always, the food and service were amazing!
We had a wonderful meal and our reservation was on time and the service was great.
Food and service was excellently
Our favorite restaurant. It never disappoints us. We are coming to the restaurant a lot. Just love it!
Everything was great - but the service could be improved. Think we saw our waitress 2 times. Really - she works for tips?
My 3rd time there and couldn’t wait to bring my Jersey City Italian father there. He loves it as much as I did and said it was definitely up there with Carmine’s in NYC!
We went to Di Paolo because it was recommended to us by several people. We were celebrating my son's graduation from High School. From the onset, our waitress was surly and unhelpful. It almost seemed like she was irritated we were there. Several of us ordered 1/2 portions of the pasta entrees because we were also getting a salad or appetizer. When our meals arrived, I almost started laughing. I have never seen a smaller portion. My mother in law (who used to own an Italian restaurant) ordered something with a bolognese sauce. When hers arrived, it was nothing like any bolognese that she had ever eaten and in her words "it had absolutely no flavor". She asked the waitress if she could have a little marinara sauce on the side - hoping to make it taste a little better. At the end of the meal, the check arrived which was approximately $240. The waitress had added $1.50 for the marinara that she brought my mother in law, which just seems in poor taste (pun intended) in light of how much we spent. The final straw was when we went to pay, we had a $200 Visa Gift Card and the waitress said "we don't take those". When my husband asked to speak to the manager, she was no more helpful or friendly. We will never go back.
Great service. Great food.
The food is always exceptional, and the service friendly. A favorite of ours.
We've been coming to Di Paulo's for over 20 years. It is the most consistent, excellent dining experience that we've ever known. The drinks are generous and always exactly what you ordered, the food is extraordinary Northern Italian, and the wait staff is friendly and well-trained.
