I went when Kounter first opened and to be honest I wasn't impressed. Fast forward 4 years and it was like a different experience. I never discount a place with just one visit (especially in their first few months). I'm so glad I tried again, I just wish I hadn't waited so long. I've been twice in the past 2 months and both times were wonderful! Skylar was our server last night and she was very friendly and attentive. I shared chicken sliders and Brussel Sprouts with a friend and they were fantastic and plenty! I can't wait to go again!

Very good dining experience. This was a business dinner and the noise level was moderate, so we had no difficulty hearing. The servers were very attentive and our steaks were great. The wine list is extensive offering good choices at varying price levels. We each ordered cheese cake for desert and agreed that it was the best in Charlotte.

I’m not sure why we don’t eat here more often… The food is really outstanding. There are other local Italian places that have been around a long time, and certainly we have enjoyed them all but Dolce stands out: it’s not like Mama Ricottas where you practically have to scream to be heard, (although I love their food as well!). Even though it was full last night, the noise level is appropriate, the food is truly delicious and our service was well done. Kudos all around.

Sister restaurant Zinicola, located in Ballantyne, has been a success in bringing authentic Italian food to the area, and Chef Richard hopes to bring that to the Lower Southend (LoSo) area. Giovanna is inspired by Chef Richard’s family, especially his mother and Nonna. He brings authentic Italian cuisine to life with a modern twist on classic recipes. We specialize in house made Italian cuisine from pastas, pizzas, and desserts! Our goal here at Giovanna is to provide delicious food and excellent service to our guests!

I always enjoy CharBar. The food is great and there are a lot of options for everyone. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. It’s just an overall great place to go!!! PS. It does get a bit noisy at times but i think it’s because so many people love to go there and enjoy a good meal with friends and family!!

Each morsel is hot, fresh and delicious and all entrées are accompanied by an array of dipping sauces to add to the flavorful fun. Chocolate fondue is the finale.
