Aloha, we are open daily from 7:00am to 11:00pm and are located on the waterfront of Waikiki Beach inside the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort. We accept reservations & reserve a large amount of space for walk-ins. If your desired reservation is not available, please join our waitlist in person daily. Happy Hour is available daily from 3:30pm-5:00pm (excluding select holidays).

Our chef driven concept is led by the classically trained, award winning chef, Peter Merriman. Peter is a culinary pioneer and one of the founders of Hawaii Regional Cuisine. He has always been inspired by the people and products around him and this spirit has lead the movement to look at food in Hawaii in a new light. Monkeypod Kitchen by Merriman embraces this passion! Each item on the menu demonstrates our commitment to craft and showcases high quality, socially conscious ingredients, creative preparations, and perfect execution.

We’ve been to other monkeypod kitchen locations and this one is just as good! The service was insanely quick and everything was delicious. Consistently good experience. Do beware there is a kitchen staff fee added to the bill.

Monkey pod has been a favorite of our family for decades. We always make this is our first stop and last stop when we coming to Maui. Mai-Tai’s with the lilikoi foam is a must! 😋

Our stunning ocean-front location with spectacular sunsets makes the Beach House an iconic destination on Kauai's south shore that has won the Hale 'Aina Award for "Best Restaurant - Kauai" for 20+ years.

Our philosophy at the Beach House is simple - take aloha, blend it with fresh and high-quality ingredients, and add an ocean view to deliver a handcrafted, Hawaiian experience. Executive Chef Marshall Blanchard makes the most of local ingredients by sourcing our fish directly from island fisherman and our beef from neighboring ranches. We incorporate fresh and local produce throughout our menu, highlighting Hawai'i farms and the resources that surround Kauai.

Reservations are highly recommended for a dining room table in our open-air restaurant. We also offer lounge seating on our lawn, where the full menu and full service are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please check in with the bar host for lawn seating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at the Beach House Of course we expected nothing less than excellence and once again they did not disappoint. Our table was ready right when we arrived and our server, Mary, was right on hand to take our drink order. We had Mai Tais and they were quite tasty. People at our table ordered the Macadamia nut crusted fish, the scallops, and the lobster pasta. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We contemplated ordering dessert but the dinner portions were so generous we couldn’t find room! The sunset was spectacular- a treat not to be missed. We never come to Kauai without eating at the Beach House- a tradition for us.

Perfection ! Signature mai tais are a must. Poke taco appetizer-yum! Seafood to prime ribeye prepared flawlessly. Server was on point. She was always one step ahead of our needs. We dine here 1-2 times yearly. Best, best consistently delicious food, service, and vibe in ko olina.
