About the restaurant
Café Momentum is not a normal restaurant. Café Momentum is a non-profit restaurant that offers a locally sourced, chef-driven menu and serves as a culinary training facility for young people impacted by the juvenile justice system.

Café Momentum’s program teaches critical skills that allow youth to re-enter society in a safe, real-world environment of nurturing accountability. By participating in our program, the youth rotate through every aspect of the restaurant, from waiting tables to washing dishes, while working side-by-side with Chef Peter Henry.

Don't miss our famous smoked fried chicken served with mashed potatoes, ham hock collard greens, buttermilk biscuit, and black pepper gravy.

We are BYOB! $5/person corkage fee.

Downtown
About the restaurant
Huszar is a charming, family-owned restaurant and tavern featuring homemade Hungarian Old-World Cuisine, specialty craft beer selections, exclusive wine imports, and a full bar.

"With Huszár, we reach back to our roots. My mom would often tell stories of her family life in Hungary, and my dad would often reflect upon his military service there that he was so proud of. However, it was the stories of my grandfather being a proud Huszár, handpicked to serve as an elite soldier on horseback, that I draw my inspiration from. Their stories instilled me with a deep pride in my heritage."

Here are our hours of operation:
Tuesdays - Saturdays 12pm - 8pm
Sundays - 12pm to 7pm

My wife and I shared the fall off the bone ribs with red cabbage and smashed potatoes. It was topped with a tomato based sauce and was delicious. They also have interesting wines and yummy desserts.

This place was such a gem! The quaint and eccentric ambiance were enough to grab ahold of our attention, but the drinks were absolutely incredible! I have never had cocktails so impeccably done! The food was absolutely fabulous as well! We normally don’t stay for dessert, but we decided to try the tiramisu and the cookie skillet, and we were not disappointed! This place is a unique experience with exceptional service. We will definitely be back!
