OMG! You have got to try this sweet little bistro in Pendleton, South Carolina right off the major highway. It’s a little tough to get into but it’s well worth the effort. It was so nice to meet Erica the owner, co-owners with her husband and hear the story of how they opened Erica’s. Gabby was a great server and we appreciate her professionalism. She was friendly, but also knew when to leave us alone and when to help us out it’s so great to have people who work for you that are that conscientious. Everybody should try this place and then you’ll fall in love with it like we did.

The concept is the brainchild of Chef and Owner Jason Saunders, formerly of Jianna in Greenville and Wicked Weed Brewing and Table in Asheville, to name a few of the spots where he made his mark. Chef Saunders decided to open his own concept in 2020.

This is a wonderful boutique restaurant that offers an intimate dining experience. The service team and owner provide a friendly touch. It does seem like they are serving family and welcome you into their home. It is pricey and the menu is sophisticated so don't expect standard fare. Background music, sculpture and art pieces add to the living room ambience. This is more of a signature restaurant for special occasions when you want the experience of lovely service, exotic food choices and a pleasing atmosphere.

That dream is now a reality with Olive and Fig Mediterranean Kitchen. Together they take great pride in making each plate transport you to the Greek Isles or the banks of the Mediterranean Sea where some of the finest cuisine is served. You will find no precooked items and we do not use microwaves or steam tables to heat or store food.
