Was looking for a good restaurant for the wife and I in the Salt Lake area. Did a little research and came across Log Haven. Had good reviews, which i don't always trust and had a vibe of a place i remember from north east Pennsylvania. Made a reservation and off we went. We were not disappointed. For appetizers we had the crab cakes and Korean fried cauliflower. I don't do seafood, but wife said they were great. The cauliflower i can say was awesome. Great flavor. For our meals, I had the elk and the wife had the bison. Went with the waiters suggestion on desired temp and all I can say is wow. Food, atmosphere, everything was better than expected. Definitely recommend.

Delightful! Patio view was gorgeous. Hot bread served immediately. Ordered the open face cheese sandwich with avocado and tomato basil soup — both were delicious. Dessert was like no other — lemon raspberry custard in a phyllo dough cup smothered in cinnamon and sugar, yum 😋 we Will be back. Service was spot on! We requested a togo cup of iced tea and walked through the gardens sipping our tea 🪷🌼🌺🌸

WE HAVE MOVED! OUR NEW LOCATION IS 4699 S HIGHLAND DRIVE, SLC, UT.

SLC's most glamorous, sexy and taste bud tantalizing restaurant has elevated their experience. Tear drop chandeliers, off-white banquettes, a mixture of velvet and sherpa chairs in the lounge and bar area create an ultra hip vibe for those who like to sit in the buzz !! For those who'd rather have a more quiet and romantic experience, the upstairs offers a more tranquil setting while overlooking the vibrance below. The other dining rooms offer either fireplace ambiance or Mt Olympus views! Our private rooms host up to 10, 20, 24 and 58 guests respectively. Our privately enclosed backyard patio overlooks Mt Olympus and features fire-pit seating!

Chef Matt's flavorful, hearty cuisine is as beautiful to look at as it is to savor! Local favorites include Chanterelle Mushroom Soup, Toast Smögen and Crispy Fried Chicken!

Due to the more formal and intimate nature of the ambiance, we welcome children 4 and over. NO INFANTS.

We went to Kimi's last night and got the fillet minion, it was excellent. It was a 6 oz. portion, charred on the outside and perfect medium rare on the inside. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful weather and musician. The service was very good. I would recommend Kimi's.

Bodega is the street level Tavern, that offers no frills cocktails in addition to draft beer and shots.

With a reservation, or if allowed admission from the Bartender upstairs, you can experience The Rest. It is a subterranean gem that looks like a bar that Hemingway would have built. Dark wood, taxidermy, old books and plenty of good whiskey. Perfect place for privacy and escaping the world for a minute... Or hours.

Ambiance is great (we sat outside). We both had a Halibut dish that was slightly dry and did not have much flavor. The couscous was very good and saved the entree. Service was very good, hopefully this was just an off night.

Osteria Amore came to life because we believe in the power of food to change your day, or in our case, change your life.

Owner Eduardo Daja has been working in restaurants since he was a teenager growing up in Italy, and his time in culinary school only strengthened his passion for food. After culinary school, Ed stayed in Bologna to work at a family-owned restaurant. He moved to Utah eight years ago, and found himself missing his first love, food. For the past three years, Ed has been managing an Italian restaurant while also maintaining a career in tech and finally made the life-changing decision to open his own restaurant.

That big decision was made possible for Ed when he met Marco Cuttaia, Osteria Amore’s executive chef and partner. Ed’s training in Bologna, considered the food capital of Italy, and Marco’s upbringing in Palermo, known for its incredible street food, bridge northern and southern Italian culinary tradition in a way that’s never been done in Salt Lake City.
