It was a great celebration of our anniversary. The duck was amazing and the dessert was incredible. The soup and crab cakes were just ok. They were not at the same level of fab as the duck or the salmon. The quality of our dining experience was enhanced by our very attentive server, well done!
All aspects of our evening were top notch. Great food, service and value. Diva offers a quiet environment with comfort and style.
Love the Diva roll and the fig salad. Service was as attentive as always, never disappointing :) Will visit again soon!
Nice place for dining out . Service is great . I ordered beef , quite salty. Perhaps the chef could put less salt into food for health reasons. No black cod this time in the menu , really missed it .
Food and service we’re both outstanding. The duck was fantastic!
Unfortunately, only one waiter showed up for work so understandably , the service was not up to standard . We had the Hailbut and it was dry and kind of overcooked.
Service was good , food , in particular the main course was a major letdown. Well presented but absolutely tasteless. Will not be back . Very disappointing.

I had to wait on multiple occasions to ask for the bill and server wasn’t friendly nor pleasant to deal with. I wouldn’t go back.
2 of the 4 main course (chicken breast dish and prawn pasta dish) were super salty, it was rather unbearable.
The dessert was the best part of our meal. They know how to make a good, delicious dessert. This time it was banana split. It was my 2nd time trying this restaurant and from 3 years ago, the meal wasn't as memorable as the first time, but the dessert was just as good as the first time. The fresh, warm bread was good and the vegetables with the flank steak were good. The polenta that came with the steak was too big even with 2 people sharing. The flank steak was good. Go for dessert!
This is our go to favorite restaurant whenever we are having a night out in Vancouver. Food and drinks never disappoint us!
Food was flavourless. My steak was bland and overly soft. The quality of beef they use is very questionable. The sauce wasn’t good and is overpowering. The pasta tasted like damp cloth, and the prawn were not fresh and off tasting. There were 9 of us but for quite an empty restaurant, the food took way too long. We ordered around 6:15pm and food came at 7:20pm The server appeared nice and friendly but neglected the table after taking orders. No coming around asking if everything is okay or filling our water. The restaurant itself was pretty nice, visually pleasing, and quiet. The lack of patrons on a Saturday should have been a clue.
It was once the major hyped-up restaurant in Vancouver many years ago, it is situated in a upper scale hotel so we decided to try out their Mother’s Day brunch buffet. Thinking it should be at least decent, right? Boy, was I wrong!
The restaurant was only filled by about 4 tables and I can now understand why.
Food options in the buffet were quite limited, meat from carving station was DRY and it has been sitting there for a long time. Oysters were never been replaced when they were gone, there were only 6 items for desserts. The best thing I had that day was a freshly made omelette! Service was impersonal even though they mandatorily charged me 17% for it.
For $75 per head plus the 17% service charge, the bill for 2 adults was over $180. Needless to say I definitely would not return. Very disappointing!

Had a great dinner with the family at Diva. Our server was informative and cordial. Most of us had the three course tasting menu where you can select from at least three options in each category. It was was an excellent way to try the menu. My favourites were the scallop and beef carpaccio.
One of my colleagues was a first time visitor to Diva and very much enjoyed the experience and food.
A good place to go and do business. Much quieter than other restaurants down town. Very good service.
My halibut was dry which is so disappointing and not my previous experiences. Unable to speak to this given my guests at the table who enjoyed their meals. Sat at the back where it was much quieter.
We had a delayed Valentine's Day celebration and chose Diva at the Met for the ambiance and reputation to be a fantastic dining experience. Our expectations were surpassed, our service was delightful and we had a fab time. Thank you all 🥂

Took my friend there for a birthday lunch. Was spacious, not too noisy so you could converse. Food was good. Service was good. I'll be back as when we ordered a bite of gluten-free dessert, they brought it to our table on a plate with Happy Birthday written on the plate in chocolate, complete with a lit birthday candle, au gratis! Impressive. :-)
While the food was excellent (the cheesecake was too sour for me due to the type of cheese used in its creation - not a good choice if you like sweet desserts), the pricing was not terribly clear. An extra $10 for the steak option was not clearly identified in the menu. The sauces with the dishes were tasty and complemented the meat well. A cozy restaurant that accommodated our seating desires. Quite lovely.
Wanted to enjoy Dine Out, and were disappointed that we chose our last experience to be there. Food was ok, not great and personally not worth the $45 per person (especially compared to the place we were at the previous night). But making matters were and really tainted the evening was the horrible service, not only slow to get drinks or food, when there was an issue she was impossible to try and track down. It seemed the table next to us fared better there and we actually had to get him to flag our waiter down twice, plus he is the one who responded to get us a spoon for our soup.
Our first waitress introduced herself took a drink order that took about 20-25 mins. Then we had another waitress, she never said I’ll be taking care of you now. Not sure at this point who our waitress was. Next drink another 15 mins. My husband who was not drinking, had water that sat empty till dinner. We had wanted to order items from the regular menu not the dine out. No where did it say that only the dine out menu was available. Food was okay nothing fantastic. We would have chose somewhere else if this was the case. When we were done we sat waiting with our waitress no where to be found, another waitress tried to help but wasn’t sure how to split our bill. To say the least the service was the worst service I have ever had, and the ambiance was awful, very cold, felt like a buffet, will not recommend or return.
This restaurant was not satisfying if to consider its place, food cost, even if I try to understand it was dine out season. Upon entering, I was not asked for coat check, which I think this kind of hotel restaurant should offer. Atmosphere was great. It was spacey, cozy, and quiet. Food was fairly okay except my pork belly. It came with its skin, but I could not cut with knife, could not even bite off. Waitress was intimate. I wish she were able to check our water cup. It was never refilled although I put it on the side of table so she could see it. I had to catch her attention and ask for it.
To sum up, I would not consider coming back if this is their norm. I would rather spend my time from where it is a bit cheaper (or same price range, it is to compare) but with greater service and food.
Dine out menu was excellent. Everything on the menu was delicious. The sticky toffee pudding was so unforgettable.
I went there for Dine Out Vancouver Festival to try their $45 per person menu. I ordered the New York steak which had an additional $10 charge. The steak was tough and terrible. The appetizer and the dessert were so so. Even though the service was good, I will not go there again.
Nothing special considering price, I would prefer other options next time
Diva at the Met has always been the place for high quality food and ambiance. While the quality of food was upheld this year, I felt that some of the staff were too casually-dressed for a fine-dining restaurant of this caliber.
We enjoyed our evening at Diva the food was excellent and charming romantic atmosphere.

Overall, the experience was positive. The soup appetizer and seabass main course were very tasty. Dessert was interesting but not scrumptious. The sticky toffee pudding itself was a bit dry and hard. Our waitress was friendly, very helpful, very approachable . Service was quick and efficient. The atmosphere was on the noisier side. Overall decor of the restaurant was on the older side, a bit tired, taking away from the delicous food and good service.
Went to Dine Out with friends and enjoyed the service and food. Great place for friends to get together!
Nice restaurant. Server was excellent. Quite busy since it was a Christmas dinner. Food quality was mixed. Endive salad really did not have much endive. Butternut squash soup was good. Crab cake was mediocre. Filet was excellent! Dessert was nice - I never thought of a Stilton cheesecake before.
Always reliably good food and drink and service, even on Holidays.
Overall very satisfied but Wine list could be improved as ALL white wines are dry. No sweet or moderate sweet, only different brands of very dry wine.
We had Christmas dinner here and couldn't be happier with the experience. The wait staff were attentive, the food was outstanding and the wine pairings were inspired. Best food experience we had in Vancouver!
Will most definitely return in the future.
