For dinner, the food portions are too small! After serving the entrees, the waiter never came back to ask if we needed more drinks etc. In fact, it was really difficult to locate him! I had to go to the bar to request the bill!

Service was excellent and food was prepared to a fine point.
My wife found some dishes too spicy for her liking but I and my sister thought the lamb was prepared as it should have.
Room décor could not be better. It is however noisy and dinner conversations were difficult tom carry on.
At times patio door was opened and there was a definite draft in the room.

I had heard excellent feedbacks from friends who had already dined at Diwan and had always wanted to experience it. The hours are not very convenient for people who works and can't make it at lunch time. Hoping you will extend your hours to dinner time also. Wednesday is not enough. Having said that, yesterday was my first time at the restaurant and I am a fan. It was fantastic. The service was excellent. I will definitely come again, hopefully for dinner this time as I only have half hour lunches.

Thank you for a great experience, best lamb shank I ever had.

This was my second visit to Diana and it did not disappoint - the return visit was every bit as good as the first. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, hot and delicious. It’s always good to try new tastes in food. On both my visits there was a member of our party with an allergy (one gluten, the other garlic) These were dealt with efficiently and accommodations were made by the chef with no problem - greatly appreciated.
The only criticism I have is that the server should have waited until everyone was finished eating before clearing the dishes. Other than that, a very satisfactory and enjoyable meal. Thank you!

We were captured by the HUMMUS, WHIPPED RICOTTA AND FIG CROSTINI,
and HALLOUMI HEIRLOOM TOMATO SALAD. These dishes were delicately flavoured and carefully put together. As vegetarians, we were surprisingly satisfied with these and had no need for any main item. And the parfait!! Mildly sweet and bursting with stimulating flavour and texture. We were very happy with our experience.

we were in a hurry and they were able to give us our bill on time. i wish we had more time. The Hummus was the best we had every had. Shared it and both loved it. Salmon was good but for the price it stood alone. nothing to accompany it. So good that i was full on Hummus. Still, i recommend this place and would go again

I had planned my husband's 40th birthday celebration with 15 guests in tow. I was a bit nervous as we had never been to Diwan before. At the end of the meal (prix fixe menu), we (including guests) were left wondering why we hadn't been here before! The food was delicious and presented artistically. The servers were courteous, helpful and accommodating! Our table overlooked the fountain and the Ismaili Centre, it was a great back drop!
We are definitely going back to taste the other menu options and highly recommend it!

Food was excellent and service attentive. We had the babaghanoush with heirloom tomatoes, the Tikki chicken on a sizzling hot plate and the octopus and squid salad, finishing with the carrot cake. The tikki chicken was outstanding, piping hot and silky smooth, perfectly done. Octopus was good although the squid was a bit overcooked, but still good. The only disappointing thing about the food was the side order of naan. I had expected artisanal naan for the price of $7. But we got one piece of what tasted like wonderbread naan. That was disappointing in an otherwise excellent restaurant.

The building’s architecture is very open with attractive decor and large views of an expansive built and natural landscapes. Lunch was fairly priced ($40-50 pp). The ingredients were fresh, nicely spiced and very colourful. The lentil soup ($9) was superb. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Although the dining area was populated, it was not noisy and conversations flowed easily. I look forward to another visit.

I had the lamb shank main course, which was very good, but the portion was very small. So, not for someone with a big appetite. Overall a little pricey for what you get.

Our second time here. We try to enjoy the Mid East cuisine with its lamb and spices. The flavours were delicate yet present with a good bite. Lamb was properly cooked keeping its flavour and texture. Wait staff of at least three different people was informative and expedient. The small wine list is better than many more expensive and less imaginative lists. Especially enjoyed the Argentinian Malbec Rose.Only minor point, not complaint, is the tweeked traditional dessert Mahalabia which is different than last visit
and we were not able to compare our own efforts to copy the original. Coming again and again.

We ordered a bunch of starter, appetizers, and main to share. Unfortunately they were all brought up at the same time so we have a challenge to try each kind in the proper sequence. Would be nice to present the food by category at least.
I put special request in the booking to have a high chair but it was not there when we arrived. We had to ask twice to get it set up.
After the main, we had to ask for the dessert menu.
Service was definitely better experience during the last visit and thus the return with friends and family. A bit disappointed this time.
