   The onion bahji, zatar fries and butter chicken were amazing! Service was quick and friendly. Atmosphere was made even better by the tour we took beforehand which gave us an understanding of where the decor originated. My only negative was the veg samosas...overpriced and not to my liking.

   All the wait staff were friendly and helpful. The waiter who took our order suggested we could share our toasts and butter chicken dishes which was a perfect and practical suggestion for two seventy plus years women. Just the right amount of food. Much appreciated. I’m sorry I do not remember his name. I would come back just for him!

   The food and service is excellent. My only regret is that the restaurant is not open after 2:30 pm. It would be really nice to tour the museum which is spectacular and then have dinner.

   The food was out of this world. The staff were phenomenal. I will never recommend this restaurant *enough*. This place should be packed 24/7 with the food and staff. Great place. Great people. 10/10

    The chicken was the great. The lamb portion was too less for a single meal ( one skewer only ). Also mentioned baba ganoush on the menu but came with salad only

    I was disappointed in the lack of choice on the menu for the March break. Three appetizers only, the prix fixe menu was exactly the same as the a la carte menu. My friends and I always share the offerings and our favourites were missing. I would have thought that the March break was a time to offer all the delicious things~

    Way overpriced for the mediocre food and terrible service. You are paying for the name Aga Khan. $150.00 for 4 people for lunch without drinks is ridiculous. 3 oily samosas for $14.00 had no taste. Not for my hard earned money.

    Wonderful experience was made possible by the gracious staff. Food = pleasantly presented was rich and flavourful. Nicely appointed dining room is elegant and bright with a lovely view of the grounds. A terrific was to cap off a fun time at the museum.

    The ambiance is spectacular with a beautiful ceiling and trendy clientele. We went there for a birthday lunch and the food was exquisitely presented. Attention to detail and taste. Good portions. We had the fig ricotta toast and onion bhaji. The flavors were popping. The tandoori chicken was delicious and cooked to perfection. Delicious cocktails. I particularly enjoyed the creamy dessert. Chef Sumu has done an outstanding job! She is so talented.

    Diwan has simplified their menu. They are serving more typical middle-eastern dishes rather than new gourmet fare. One of my favourites is gone. I wish they bring back the combo of chicken and shrimp kabobs, fried cheese, and grilled onions and sweet peppers.

    We always enjoy going here with friends, The food offers enought variety to please most tastes, and the surroundings are very handsome. Also staff members are competent and courteous. Because it appeals to families It can sometimes be too noisy for satisfactory conversation.

    Slightly disappointing. The atmosphere of the location is wonderful. Staff were terrific. Sun streamed in the lovely high windows. Perfect setting for a Sunday lunch. Cocktail was very good. The food was not impressive and perhaps our expectation was high given the name of the chef attached to Diwan. Shrimps very overcooked. Fattoush salad a bit vinegary but perhaps that is really too subjective to be a fair comment. Will try this restaurant again soon because every establishment can have a not so great day. In the meantime I would encourage people to go for the atmosphere alone and if you get a great meal which is very possible, that will be a bonus.

    Ambience is beautiful but noise level is high. Hummus entree was very nice, lamb was too chewy and perhaps the babaganoush could be separated from the bread. Fresno desert was superb. The service is outstanding and the decoration beautiful. Wonderful opportunity to have the winterdelicious to be able to try the restaurant.

    Enjoyed the freshest most flavourful food at Diwan! Great value as it was the Winterlicious prix fix lunch. The staff were attentive and the courses perfectly timed. I would recommend this with or without the museum visit which was also interesting and informative. The artifacts are beautiful; this follows right into the decor of the restaurant. Do visit!
