Dockside Restaurant & Brewing Company
The open dining room is relaxed yet refined, wrapped in spectacular floor to ceiling windows, while the lounge offers warm intimate surroundings for evening cocktails. The award-winning patio catches sunlight from morning to late afternoon. Protected on three sides it’s an oasis of calm, disturbed only by the occasional sound of boats making their way along False Creek. Recent renovations have added fireplaces and casual seating areas to this Vancouver destination.

A wonderful dining experience.
The Prime rib was great but the sablefish lacked flavour. The Cornish game hen was overcooked . Great mashed potatoes! The music was too loud and did not match the decor and price. Love the view.
The server and the other staffs are all friendly
Food is great..
But only the portion is very very small
A busy day at the restaurant for family day weekend, but delicious food and great service!
$5.00 for a cup of coffee and only received one cup with no refills. Love the restaurants
We had a great waiter. Food was fine. The wine list for California Cabernet is abysmal. You can do better!
Hess select is good , Lake Sonoma . And Irony. Many others. Beto gets Founders estate.
JLohr not so great. Low end of acceptable but not great.
You should lose the canned boom boom music altogether and choose good dinner music, not disco dance music for fine dining. Lose the boom boom
CBC has lots of excellent classical and jazz music— free!!
Food selection used to be better. Now a bit too trendy
We love the ambience, view and experience but you can do better
We are frequent guests
The food was excellent, the server was awesome, and the view was incredible with the Snow Moon! Thanks Dockside!
The server was very accommodating and helpful. The food was good except for the salad. It was not fresh.
Overall I enjoyed the lunch.
Saw a rat there!
No communication about a private buyout in the main dining area. Had to dine in the smaller dining room which was less that desirable as the entire reason for booking dockside was due to the ambience and main dining area.
Service was okay, but serious lack of vegan options was very disappointing.
Dinner at Dockside restaurant and Brewing Company on February 1, 2020 was one of the worst meals of my life. The dinner was to be a special occasion with some dear friends and family . I had chosen this restaurant based on the Open table reviews and The Food Network list placing Dockside number 6 of 12 top fish restaurants in Vancouver. I feel this is unbelievable... and such reviews undermine the credibility of Open Table and The Food Network .
While our waiter David was generally good, the issues started with him serving a bourbon sour that was terrible. There was no one available to give any useful information about wines; their craft beer was unavailable due to equipment failure ; and there were no special coffees available due to a special function in the dining room.
I will admit the Brussels were good and the Pork Belly while very fatty, was nice and crispy. However, the Arctic char was tasteless and overcooked. It was placed on a purple mess of beets and pickled cabbage . How about a bit of green vegetable? I had a few bites but could not eat it.
Two of my friends had the lamb sirloin; it was also tough and tasteless. Only the sable fish had a good review. Dockside is overpriced for less than mediocre food. Yes, it is a lovely view, but this can go only so far .
I have no idea how Dockside got on the top 12 list for fish restaurants .
We will never return to this restaurant, much less recommend it to my friends.
The environment is nice and clean. We are a party of four and all of us enjoyed the food offered. We appreciate the service provided by the waiter who was so friendly and helpful.
Excellent...One of the few restaurants left that have it all!
Food and service was great
The food served at Dockside Restaurant on January 27 was good and tasty. We were seated at a table which is near by a window and from where we sat we had a beautiful view of the inner harbour. The service was great. Waitress was friendly. She patiently served us with coffee and kept refilling coffee for us. The checking out process was smooth. The pricing was fair.
Fixed menu selection. Not flexible at all
Beyond excellent. First time for dinner and now I will return.
Thankfully it was a slow Friday night! We enjoyed not having all that many people in the restaurant. Service was good. Staff very friendly and efficient. Food was good.
Very nice view of the water, the food for dineout was alright.
Good food and service, nice location and lovely view of False Creek
Good place, with good food, view, and service. We got a present card from our friends, it's why we went there, otherwise, it would be a little bit pricy for our budget. However, if you have a hundred bucks gift card to this place, you will experience unforgettable taste, they know how to surprise your taste buds.
Great waitress n the food portions was just right, hopefully parking more easily in the future
Came here for a birthday. Beautiful spot (even in winter), service was seamless and thoughtful, and dinner was gorgeous. This is one of the only places I would say there should be a little more music/noise for the sake of privacy, but otherwise it was an awesome experience and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you!
Came here for a nice dinner out with my Travelzoo deal, and the food and service was excellent.
The chili squid was so good, I could have eaten 3 more plates of it!
Had the Cioppino, lots of flavor and left Dockside totally full.
Definitely recommend, thank you for the lovely evening.
Everything was excellent about our evening and meal at Dockside. We were celebrating an anniversary and were delighted with everything. We made the decision to come back every year for our anniversary!
I have been to this restaurant a lot over the past few years. It appears they have just changed their menu. The prices seem astronomical for the appetizers: crab cake: a single one for $$$. The server was attentive enough. The value has been compromised.
Food has gone a bit downhill.
Went for New Year's brunch with my son. The food, service, and view of the marina were exceptional. Have been here a few times and have enjoyed it immensely. This time, the only downside was that we were seated near the bussing area so the noise level was somewhat distracting and a bit intrusive at times. I'll be sure to ask for a table away from that area next time.
I have eaten here a few times in the past and it has such an incredible view. Great location with walking trails, harbour ferry close by, and walking distance of Grandville Island. This time there was only a brunch menu so I chose the Corned Beef sandwich. Unfortunately it was not very lean so I had to take the sandwich apart and eat the leaner meat. I would not order this again or recommend it. I am sure next time I visit there will be better luck on what I choose off the menu.
Gods food and excellent service !
Lovely location. Food was tasty. Service exemplary. Aoife, our server was terrific!
We came to Dockside for Christmas Eve dinner and were really pleased. Although serving sizes were on the small side (pasta excepted), the food was very good and of excellent quality.
The food was very good. We started with the chili squid and arugula salad. My friend had the tenderloin which was cooked a perfect Chicago medium and I had the lamb which was delicious but a little veiny.
The service was great as well.
The only reason I gave it a 4 star was because I couldn’t drink my Americans. It tasted extremely bitter and burnt. I had to send it back.
The room was beautiful and the columns of noise not too loud except for the cell phones ringing front some tables which had a glowing blue aura 🤣
Very good local spot for lunch or prime rib dinner.
Excellent experience as always. Thank you!
Made ano early reservation and was called the day before to say we would be in the side room because of a big booking. Didn't have a view which is why we like to dine here. But fireplace was nice and server awesome.
The food and service were great. We come here often. This time for lunch for a special preChristmas visit.
The restaurant still hasn’t learned that the new trend in dining is to have soft music or no music at all. The base boom boom with no melody discernible was jarring and annoying. The manager turned it down after three complaints. But the excuse is always” we can’t turn it off” or” we can’t regulate the base volume”. Nonsense!
Be a leader in pleasant atmosphere for dining.
If we want boom boom, we can go to a dance hall or nightclub
No birthday acknowledgement
Even with the busy pre Xmas lunch crowds we had a window seat and good service. My only quibble is that the menu could use a bit of refreshing. I eat here a few times a year and the menu seems a bit static. I can’t recommend the Beyond Meat burger. The lack of condiments and lack of a good char rendered rather bland to say the least.
Not enough serving staff. Took us 25 mins to place our drink order.
