Nice people. Beautiful location. Some creative menu items—mostly typical. Food was average unfortunately because prices were high for the plate that was served. $38 prime rib and $32 pasta can be great, but weren’t. Very energetic waiter. Overall a disappointment.
Great location, nice waterfront view. Service was excellent, food was good but a bit overpriced. Parking is a bit problematic - poor identification of parking lines is confusing and almost resulted in my car being towed.
Only negative was noise and cold by window..still liked the window.
The food and view are what stood out as being great. Although pricey, the food is good and the portions are appropriate. Gorgeous waterfront and city views, definitely call ahead and make a reservation and request a seat near the window.
Unfortunately we had a terrible server who served my friend her allergy, after she specifically ordered the dish without. And we had ordered 2 bottles of wine and he topped my friends glass up with the wrong wine. I wouldn't return for classy or attentive service, just a nice view
Always enjoyable, fantastic scenery, service & food great!
Lovely view, excellent food, charming server.
The food was amazing, the service was impeccable and the drinks were stiff! i will definitely be returning
The start of our visit to your restaurant went well... I was escorted to a table that I had requested, the server arrived and took our order to drinks and then left us to reflect on the menu. Once we ordered we then felt quite abandoned as ... meal took some time to arrive and was only warm... We would have ordered another drink however by the time we hailed our server our meal was almost done so we ordered coffees which took over 20 minutes to arrive at which time are meal was done. We felt that once our orders were in we became an afterthought to our server.
We meet here every 1-2 months for lunch and have for for over 10-15 years. We enjoy the setting , the food and ambience.
Although not an extensive menu there are many appealing choices.
all around, excellent place to dine, especially being on the water.
Had dinner here before the theatre the other night. Had a great meal, lovely table/view and a really nice waiter.
Great food, great service, wonderful ambiance and view
Bad services! Food are not good
It was really nice, have been many times
I have been here a few times and always an amazing experience and food is great. Especially wonderful in the summer when you can sit on patio and by the fire pits.
Lovely location! It was a Sunday brunch. Basic bacon and eggs and Eggs Benedict. The meal was good but the views are spectacular!
We love the market at Granville. There isn’t a lot choice during February but the Dockside was good but slightly expensive!
Dockside has one of the best locations in Vancouver. Our server was excellent, but the breakfast we had was disappointing and not to their typical standard.
The service was slow. The foods were ok. It’s pricey.
Had dinner twice here and really enjoyed both meals. Great view, wonderful food, and lovely staff especially the young lady at the front upon my arrival. She is so bubbly and so pleasant. I also enjoyed dessert which is prepared by the pastry chef. The Coconut Cheesecake is to die for. The best cheesecake I have ever had.
Good and beautiful view. Food is very good. Service good and nice quiet atmosphere.
Average on every level. Beautiful room and decor but everything else is average and over priced.
Excellent service and great food. My wife had a cornish game hen, I had salmon, and our friend had filet mignon. All three dishes were cooked perfectly and delicious. I am anxious to go back in the summer when the scenery would be quite impressive.
This has been a meeting place for 4 Friends for many years. We enjoy the ambience, food and service very much. We often have the same waiter and we enjoy him very much.
Look forward to returning soon.
The food was most disappointing:
* Pizza was too salty.
* Kale salad was soggy and unattractively presented.
*Halibut lobster bisque sauce had too much vinegar.
Service and view excellent .
The food is vey good. Much better view on a clear summer day.
We always enjoy our dining experience at Dockside. Beautiful, decor, the view is equally stunning day and night, the staff is attentive and professional, and food is wonderful.
Because my birthday is on New Year's Eve, we always look for somewhere special to have dinner. This was my first experience at Dockside and it was very pleasant. We will definitely come back. I have a friend who goes for lunch very often, and loves it, so we will try the lunch and the beer menu sometime soon.
We spent New Year's Eve afternoon for lunch. There was 6 of us and we all enjoyed what we ordered. Nice presentation, eggs benedict was great.
My standby special occasion in Vancouver. Fine food, atmosphere, service at pricing that's not rapacious.
This was the first time we had gone to Dockside for a meal. Everything about it was superb; food, ambience, value for money. One of our party was blind. Our server was amazing - so attentive to her unique needs and with deep respect. We will certainly come again!
Took two elderly friends for lunch. Was a little disappointed in my hamburger ... a bit dry and messy. It was awesome on our last visit. But, everyone else enjoyed their meal. Service was a bit slow to start off with ... sat with water for quite a while before we could order wine.
But, this would not stop me from returning.
The frittata and shrimp & crabcake benny were lovely! The view and attentive staff made for enjoyable weekend brunch to ring in new year. Nice change up from every day breakfast menu.
Pleasant before Theatre dinner. Service was terrific. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. Because of the season, the restaurant was nicely decorated. Will certainly come back again.
The hostess was confused and i was worried about our pre-theatre Christmas Eve lunch. Once we were in service and food was very good.
good meal and service. The wait staff were attentive and helpful
Our food was delicious and on a sunny day the view was spectacular.
A very pleasant sunday brunch with my grandson before we went to the theatre.
Food was good and very kid friendly. Service was great.
