Dockside Restaurant & Brewing Company
The open dining room is relaxed yet refined, wrapped in spectacular floor to ceiling windows, while the lounge offers warm intimate surroundings for evening cocktails.
The award-winning seasonal patio (patio closed October to March) catches sunlight from morning to afternoon and is an oasis of calm, disturbed only by the occasional sound of boats making their way along False Creek.
Whether dining inside or outside the views are stunning!

Love this restaurant! The last few times we have been here this past year, all of our meals have been delicious! We have had a variety of dishes including the Tuscan Kale Caesar, Potato Gnocchi, Lamb Shank, Ciopppino, Hummus and Cheesy bread—all delicious and spot on!
Excellent food, service and a wonderful view of False Creek
We were early for our reservation - No problem.
Nice table for two, with a view.
Waiter very helpful, and knowledgable.
Mussels, superb to my special request.
Easy parking. a perfect lunch!
I’ve had better meals at Dockside but it’s still one of my favourites. Our server was exceptional but the noise level was very high. Why do people feel like they have to raise their voices in restaurants?
Thanksgiving dinner, the Turkey confit was AMAZING
Turkey dinner was lovely, but portions were small. Wait staff charming. Noise level & distractions high. Sound system laughable. Wondering why they even had one. Venue in desperate need of a renovation. They are charging high prices with ugly decor: cheap vinyl floors, cheesy etched glass, arborite wall units. You’d think it was the 70’s.
Two items we ordered were wrong and one meal was late and we go the wrong dessert.
Music was too loud and not appropriate for dinner seating. Sounded like we were in a nightclub.
Tha place is beautiful and the service was great, the food is ok
My appetizer was awful. A piece of cheese with no flavor. The Mojito had a weird taste, either the lime or the mint were expired. Menu options were limited, so I went for the halibut that had an unpleasant layer of (?) that was too oily. Dessert was ok but nothing outstanding. 170 dollars for two people, definitely not worth the price.
We had a good time for my birthday, service was good and friendly, wagyu beef carpaccio was delicious, good portions on pasta dish, ribs fell off the bone without any effort. Overall great experience.
Friendly Service, great food and a jaw dropping scenery.
Food was delicious, so amazingly made and presented. The service was spectacular. Our server kept checking up on us. He Really explained the menu. The view was amazing, ambience was just perfect. I would definitely return to this restaurant whenever im back to vancouver. Thanx for making my trip memorable!
Great venue and food!
Spectacular food and service to go along with that view!! Amazing!
The scallops and tapioca chips were out of this world. The cioppino had a wonderful rich flavorful broth with the wright amount of seafood. My friends enjoyed there meals just as much. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Wonderful service and food in a delightful restaurant
Excellant location in Vancouver! Food, service and ambiance was great. Will recommend it to everyone who wants a good dining experience.
DeLICIOUS. And very accommodating staff. 10/10 would recommend and return
Food here is inconsistent. I have had wonderful meals here and the same meal another time not very good. Last night both meals (mine and my date) were so salty that they were barely edible. Restaurant did take one entree off the bill which was nice. The place is beautiful and service was very good but folks.....you need to improve the consistency of the food. At a place like this the food is important.
The service is excellent and I don’t know why lots of people complained that they have horrible service. Overall very satisfied and will go back again to try other dishes. Thank you to our server Brandon.
could do better with the back round music, for example: better play list
4th visit this summer. Duck confit salad was a definite 10/10 plus! Halibut on menu did not mention Black squid ink but mom did not want to complain plus she rated the halibut fish itself as lacking flavour. (Mom orders halibut at every restaurant she goes to if on the menu.). Anyways, of all the dishes we have tried...halibut was a bit of a disappointment. We are still looking forward to trying linguine vongole etc. ...we are working our way through your menu. Great kitchen...great setting, great service, great ambiance.
Amazing experience, fantastic view, wonderful food, perfect service. A+!
Beautiful view and ambience.. and excellent service. Overall.. it was an awesome experience. Will definitely go back. Thank you very much for making our experience a truly enjoyable and memorable one.
Am amazing atmosphere and location, kind and attentive staff, reasonable prices for delicious food!! Felt COVID safe. We’re coming back for celebrations.
Restaurant view is amazing, the ambience is also great. Food, particularly the seafood is delicious. Overall great experience
We book for 6 in table. The foods very good but there horrible service. We sitting for 30 minutes till they come to serve. We haven’t finish our meal they come to a get it away.
We were excited to try this restaurant pit on our last night in BC, so we were disappointed when they called us the day of to tell us that due to weather they were moving us inside. The weather wasn’t bad at all, but after arriving, I think I figured out why they changed us inside. There was only one waitress working! We were told that a lot of places were having a hard time hiring as the government recently extended covid benefits. The director of food services or guest services hopped right in to help as did the amazing hostess and even the bartender brought out food! The service was very slow in the beginning but once everyone helped out it got better although we did have to grab someone a few times. We ordered the scallops to start, they were cooked perfectly, we also ordered the olives and found them to overpowering with smoke flavour and citrus, which is explained in the menu, we just felt that was all you tasted. I ordered the pasta and clams in white wine sauce and it was delicious! Pasta cooked perfectly and flavour was great! My partner ordered the Mac and cheese and loved it, it was super cheesy and flavourful. We ended the meal with cream brûlée and the flourless chocolate torte, the creme brûlée was so good, smooth and flavourful, the chocolate Torte was good, very rich.
The restaurant is very loud as some previous reviews has stated. The views are amazing.
Very, very noisy. We were inside because of the rain. That was the noisiest restaurant I have ever been into. And, it wasn’t super crowded. The acoustics and hard surfaces really a disaster for us. Maybe put down carpets? Lower the ceiling height with fabric/kites? We couldn’t visit with friends and had to eat and get out of there fast. Not relaxing at all. The food, however, was excellent. But we won’t return, sorry.
Our waiter was fantastic super friendly and nice. The cheese bread was okay. Would not have again. The mussels were pretty good.
Good as always
This was to celebrate my partners 73rd birthday with two of our best friends. It is a great location. The service and the food was fine - nothing extraordinary, but good. I had the tuna melt and fighting my way through half of it I took the tuna portion out of the bread to eat the tuna on its own. The bread sandwich was large and didn’t cut easily. I also had French fries, which was too much. Otherwise, the view of the waterfront and the boats is wonderful.
Halibut with fingerling potatoes and green beans was excellent as was the duck leg salad. Perhaps a little pricey but the food really is delicious.
Laurie is a terrific waiter.
We had a nice meal and bottle of wine. We enjoyed a few different dishes. Some pasta dishes on the menu would be nice to see and some more vegetarian options.
Good burger, not too crowded during covid, max time to stay is 2hrs.
They have mice, and kept saying that it's normal because we're on a patio. I saw 2 of them on the garden side, and 2 other running into the main outdoor seating area. Disgusting.
Patio view is anazing
Loved the location and patio set up!
I do recommend ordering dressing on the side with the frittata. It soaked both the frittata and the side toast.
Can’t wait for the beer flights to come back!
