Dockside Restaurant & Brewing Company
The open dining room is relaxed yet refined, wrapped in spectacular floor to ceiling windows, while the lounge offers warm intimate surroundings for evening cocktails. The award-winning patio catches sunlight from morning to late afternoon. Protected on three sides it’s an oasis of calm, disturbed only by the occasional sound of boats making their way along False Creek. Recent renovations have added fireplaces and casual seating areas to this Vancouver destination.

Just an overall really good experience. The food was amazing and our server made sure to time everything so we didn't feel rushed.
Looking forward to coming back in the summer.
The food was fantastic but still Steven is what sealed the entire experience for us.
Our server Steven was the best we have ever seen!!!
Lovely restaurant with excellent service. Love to visit when the outdoor seating will be available
Great view of False Creek, the boats, and the Vancouver skyline. Server was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious. Prices were reasonable for the quality and the prime location.
The only criticism was that with the Prime Rib Hash and the Quiche and Salad, the containers were too small. The quiche was on a small board and the salad was in a small bowl on the board. It was difficult to eat them without the food falling on the table. The hash was in a small dish too. he problem could easily solved by replacing them with larger boards, bowls, and dishes.
Menu was restricted to brunch, was hoping seafood options.
Food good. Needs more choices. Noise level unacceptable
So called music with boom boom noise very intrusive. Manager turned it down but still bad. Not dining music
The restaurant needs noise baffles
Setting us superb
Wine selection for California Cabernet is abysmal
Very nice lunch with waterside
We went for brunch. I was very impressed with the amount and flavour of the food. I would definitely go back.
Wonderful last minute reservation. Our server was attentive with fun interaction. He truly enjoys what he is doing. Our reservation was during sunset and the view was amazing which was a wonderful compliment to our delicious meal as well. To start I ordered a local SkaHa Cabernet Franc while my husband tried the Tight West Coast IPA as we shared the Burrata with Roasted Beets. Then onto our mains of Cioppino (him) and Frutti di mare (me), both with very fresh seafood. For dessert, it was hard to share the Coconut Milk Cheesecake - perfect ending to our meal. Thank you, Chef for a wonderful meal.
Beautiful birthday dinner with excellent service! Thanks so much
Crab cake tasted odd. Egg in Cobb salad was barely cooked. Salad was good otherwise. Dessert, ginger cake, was excellent. Server was good. Asked for and got window table.
We were there prior to a theatre performance. It was a Tuesday night and we had 6:30 reservations. There were only about a dozen patrons there. My wife and I each had the tomato basil soup which was good. My main course of mussels and fries was very good with a very nice bread to accompany it. Unfortunately my wife, who is a vegetarian, ordered a dish that was advertised as having goat cheese melted on a type of toast. Unfortunately the cheese tasted much more like brie than goat cheese and my wife sent it back. It was replaced with a roasted cauliflower dish which was fine. After dinner my wife ordered English breakfast tea but was served Earl Grey instead. She does not like Earl Grey tea. We probably will not be back for dinner.
I'm coming back Every food selection was very well done. The harbor and city views are great.
A wonderful dining experience.
The Prime rib was great but the sablefish lacked flavour. The Cornish game hen was overcooked . Great mashed potatoes! The music was too loud and did not match the decor and price. Love the view.
The server and the other staffs are all friendly
Food is great..
But only the portion is very very small
A busy day at the restaurant for family day weekend, but delicious food and great service!
$5.00 for a cup of coffee and only received one cup with no refills. Love the restaurants
We had a great waiter. Food was fine. The wine list for California Cabernet is abysmal. You can do better!
Hess select is good , Lake Sonoma . And Irony. Many others. Beto gets Founders estate.
JLohr not so great. Low end of acceptable but not great.
You should lose the canned boom boom music altogether and choose good dinner music, not disco dance music for fine dining. Lose the boom boom
CBC has lots of excellent classical and jazz music— free!!
Food selection used to be better. Now a bit too trendy
We love the ambience, view and experience but you can do better
We are frequent guests
The food was excellent, the server was awesome, and the view was incredible with the Snow Moon! Thanks Dockside!
The server was very accommodating and helpful. The food was good except for the salad. It was not fresh.
Overall I enjoyed the lunch.
Saw a rat there!
No communication about a private buyout in the main dining area. Had to dine in the smaller dining room which was less that desirable as the entire reason for booking dockside was due to the ambience and main dining area.
Service was okay, but serious lack of vegan options was very disappointing.
Dinner at Dockside restaurant and Brewing Company on February 1, 2020 was one of the worst meals of my life. The dinner was to be a special occasion with some dear friends and family . I had chosen this restaurant based on the Open table reviews and The Food Network list placing Dockside number 6 of 12 top fish restaurants in Vancouver. I feel this is unbelievable... and such reviews undermine the credibility of Open Table and The Food Network .
While our waiter David was generally good, the issues started with him serving a bourbon sour that was terrible. There was no one available to give any useful information about wines; their craft beer was unavailable due to equipment failure ; and there were no special coffees available due to a special function in the dining room.
I will admit the Brussels were good and the Pork Belly while very fatty, was nice and crispy. However, the Arctic char was tasteless and overcooked. It was placed on a purple mess of beets and pickled cabbage . How about a bit of green vegetable? I had a few bites but could not eat it.
Two of my friends had the lamb sirloin; it was also tough and tasteless. Only the sable fish had a good review. Dockside is overpriced for less than mediocre food. Yes, it is a lovely view, but this can go only so far .
I have no idea how Dockside got on the top 12 list for fish restaurants .
We will never return to this restaurant, much less recommend it to my friends.
The environment is nice and clean. We are a party of four and all of us enjoyed the food offered. We appreciate the service provided by the waiter who was so friendly and helpful.
Excellent...One of the few restaurants left that have it all!
Food and service was great
The food served at Dockside Restaurant on January 27 was good and tasty. We were seated at a table which is near by a window and from where we sat we had a beautiful view of the inner harbour. The service was great. Waitress was friendly. She patiently served us with coffee and kept refilling coffee for us. The checking out process was smooth. The pricing was fair.
Fixed menu selection. Not flexible at all
Beyond excellent. First time for dinner and now I will return.
Thankfully it was a slow Friday night! We enjoyed not having all that many people in the restaurant. Service was good. Staff very friendly and efficient. Food was good.
Very nice view of the water, the food for dineout was alright.
Good food and service, nice location and lovely view of False Creek
Good place, with good food, view, and service. We got a present card from our friends, it's why we went there, otherwise, it would be a little bit pricy for our budget. However, if you have a hundred bucks gift card to this place, you will experience unforgettable taste, they know how to surprise your taste buds.
Great waitress n the food portions was just right, hopefully parking more easily in the future
Came here for a birthday. Beautiful spot (even in winter), service was seamless and thoughtful, and dinner was gorgeous. This is one of the only places I would say there should be a little more music/noise for the sake of privacy, but otherwise it was an awesome experience and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you!
Came here for a nice dinner out with my Travelzoo deal, and the food and service was excellent.
The chili squid was so good, I could have eaten 3 more plates of it!
Had the Cioppino, lots of flavor and left Dockside totally full.
Definitely recommend, thank you for the lovely evening.
Everything was excellent about our evening and meal at Dockside. We were celebrating an anniversary and were delighted with everything. We made the decision to come back every year for our anniversary!
I have been to this restaurant a lot over the past few years. It appears they have just changed their menu. The prices seem astronomical for the appetizers: crab cake: a single one for $$$. The server was attentive enough. The value has been compromised.
