Welcome to the Downtown Kitchen. We have one goal in mind when we open our doors every day - "To do whatever it takes to create the best dining experience possible.' That means buying certified Angus beef, Ashley Farms chicken, New Zealand Spring lamb, dayboat fish and fresh local produce. We change our menus daily according to market and season availability. Our style of cooking is defined as simplicity at its best. We built the restaurant to elevate the guests' level of comfort. The bar, tables, and booths were custom-made by a local wood worker. And we searched the nation for unique works of Art to deck our walls. Music of Blues and Rock greats fill the air. Service is as important as the food. Our staff is sincere, knowledgeable and friendly. They hustle to deliver the best service around, yet take the time to remember your name and how you like your drink.

We had a large group that was accommodated. Having been there before we knew he did not want to be upstairs, but did have to go on the day of reservations to make sure that we were downstairs. The food to us was slightly above average, and the cost was above average too high depending on the Dish the service was excellent.

Have been to DK many times. Would have given it 4 stars or maybe 5, but both of our entrees were not cooked properly. My wife's wagyu burger was supposed to be medium and came out medium rare. I had the pork chop special which was supposed to be cooked medium rare but came out well done, so was very tough. Flavors and seasoning were all good, but for the prices you expect the meats to be cooked as requested. Ambience was fine, not too noisy like it can be close to the kitchen area. Our waiter was attentive and did a good job. We had one regular cocktail each, their calamari appetizer, the pork chop and wagyu burger and total cost was $120 including tip. We won't rush back to DK because there are better options closer to home, and maybe a little less expensive.

Disappointed with downtown Kitchen. They were out of a lot of dishes and no steak. Primarily a steak House. Food was decent but nothing spectacular, would not rush back. Very loud in there difficult to have a conversation. Service was decent, but it took 10 minutes for beer to arrive. Best part of meal was Expresso martini. I have have good to the bat for that.

We live very close to this restaurant and even though we were there on a early Monday night and the restaurant was not full, they made us wait. We ended up making a reservation to be able to get a table. Which made no sense. Food was not bad and they had a good special going on Monday night.

We had not eaten at Downtown Kitchen since the pandemic. Our experience was not as good as we remembered. The apps were all great. However the Swordfish special was just not a good preparation. Tomato sauce overwhelmed the fish. The Trout was just plain off. Not all the way to bad, but on the way. The flour dusting on the sauteed trout was soggy. We'll try it again and stick to beef.

Last visit I had trout and it was perfect. This visit 2 of the 4 of us had trout and it looked and tasted like it was remade or purchased frozen and heated up. Even the salmon was not up to par. Crabcakes were very good and the vegetables were superior. (Kale and asparagus)

Went to Downtown Kitchen for the first time and had a great experience. Had sweet potato chip appetizer and they were great. My wife and I both had crab cakes as an entree (not on the menu). Entree had three crab cakes and they were delicious and full of crab. We will be back.

We celebrated my husband's birthday Friday night. We had reservations and arrived early. They were able to seat us early. The service was amazing. Cody was our server, he was attentive, and we never went without anything. Food was perfectly timed. We started with the amazing sweet Potatoe chips which is a favorite of ours. Our salads and soups were perfection. Our party ordered The Hangar Steak and Trout Almondine, and we were pleased. We were there to celebrate a birthday and Cody paid special attention to the birthday boy. The cream brute was the perfect end.

Our favorite restaurant in the Canton Georgia area. We used to live here and moved away 12 years ago. Every time we come back for a visit we always make a reservation to come to the Downtown Kitchen. It never disappoints and our meal there the other night was as good as others we’ve had in the past. Keep up the good work.

Me and my family are new to the Canton area, and decided on Saturday evening to try out DK, specifically the espresso martini due to it being a house hold favorite. I ordered what was essentially chicken and gravy, i believe the DK chicken. They give you two generous portions of fried chicken, with a bacon thyme gravy that was to die for. My mother chose the Trout and raved that it was the best trout she's ever had. I ordered the hanger steak for my daughter, and it was also out of this world. DK will definitely be a family staple for years to come.

We had a very nice experience @ Downtown Kitchen. Our server was very helpful with wine selections as well as recommendations on starters and entrees. Our table of 4 shared both the Fried Green Tomatoes & Mussels to begin our meal. Both were excellent! A Cowboy cut rib eye was shared between 2 & they both loved the steak. The table also dined on the Trout and nightly special of Shrimp Etouffee. Again, both entrees were delicious. Only disappointment was the dessert bread pudding. Flavor was spot on but the pudding was dry. We will dine with them more frequently in the future.
