Drake One Fifty

I guess I had higher expectations than what could be delivered.
Cocktails were good, but when it came to the food 3 of the 4 meals were lacklustre. Only the fried chicken seemed to stand out. The lamb and pork chop were dry and unimpressive. The pizza was ok.
Timing of food was also way off.
Don’t think i’d return...too many other options to choose from.
Excellent food and service. Quite expensive.
great interior design and very comfortable seating.
Good food but poor service. Inexperienced and slow.
Had the oysters and the black cod. Both were fantastic. Taste was superb and portion sizes were adequate. The decor within is beautiful and the patio without is lively.
Burger was really good, the flat iron steak was flavorful and it’s sauce on point. Drinks where amazing! The sangria is outstanding. The service was perfect. Will be back
Sitting in the outside patio was lovely this morning. The live band was also really good. The server with the Afro was really pleasant, we loved her.
Service was alright. Not as attentive as expected. Food was good. Atmosphere great
Had a great meal. Service was slow though.
The restaurant was okay. I was there with a work colleague and we both had a difficult time finding something appealing on the menu. Better fish choices would be nice. In our opinion, the appetizers selection was better than the main dishes. Probably wouldn’t return for dinner. Too many other great choices in Toronto.
Device, setup, food, everything in general is well put together here. It's just a little bit on the pricey side with most lunch entrees above $20.
My spouse and I came back here for our one-year anniversary. The service, food, and ambiance was impeccable. We intend to make it a tradition to come back every year for our wedding anniversary. Thank you Drake150!
The decor was nice.
Food and drinks were too over priced for the quality and portion of the dishes. The pitcher of sangria was just ice cube and watered down juice that they charged $36. We didn't mind the price of there was quality and actually substance in what you deliver. The beet salad that had 10 small cubes of raw and hard beets with the 5 slices of tangerine and thin shaving of cheese is an appertizer size salad that you charged $16 without protein? That was robbery for putting raw ingrediences on a pretty plate and serving it.
Service was not bad nor exceptional but it did take about 40 minutes for us to get our food when half the dining room was empty.
Lovely Friday after work relax with nice wine, good food and not too loud tunes
Great service, hostess and waitress were helpful and always smiling and polite.
Rude server and cold food!
We really appreciated our experience at Drake 150, the food was good, the decor is really nice and the service was competent and discreet. Go without any hesitation.
Shared two vegetable appetizers and a pizza with my friend as well as a pitcher of white sangria. Although expensive ($96), the food was outstanding and the sangria was the best I've ever had!
Drake continues to deliver delicious food! Every aspect of the meal is thoughtful. Wine is superb and cocktails - the bourbon ones - are incredible.
Great venue. However: the live music although fabulous, with a great mix into a great system was too loud for conversation, which is what brunch is all about. OMG food and wow the final tab was lower than I expected. The service is top shelf, ask for Jeremy’s section if you want superb ( in every way measurable) service
Good brunch. Some will find the portions small.
Menu could use a few more lunchy items.
Wish the wine was cheaper.
Food was tasty. Service good apart from the absent meeter and greeter.
Have the beignets if you go for brunch.
We were so disappointed with this visit to the Drake 150. We hosted our post city hall wedding here and love it, so decided to bring a friend visiting from the UK on Friday night. The food was really disappointing - the pizza was greasy and overall it wasn’t great! The crab cakes were nice though. It was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night so not much of an atmosphere really....super disappointed.
"Not Boston Pizza"
The food was very flavourful and fresh, the duck salad was very yummy. We had a patio table and it was relatively quiet and private. The interior of the restaurant is very well done; however, our waiter was pretty disrespectful to me. I was ordering the Bianco that called for rigatoni and wild boar. I loved boar but not the biggest fan of rigatoni so I asked him if any other pastas were available, he proceeded to laugh at me and said we don't swap pastas like that, followed by "this isn't Boston Pizza" under his breath. I just thought that was very rude considering I was just trying to ask if any other pasta options were offered. I don't think there was a need to make that snide remark. Nevertheless I probably won't be going back - I sat through my date wishing I were at Boston Pizza.
Tables are way too close together with other patrons. Hard to have a conversation without hearing everyone around you trying to do the same.
I've been to Drake 150 a number of times and I've always been pleased with the food and service. Last night the service was exceptional.
Had a really delicious dinner here last week, while visiting Toronto. Had a great table outside, and our server was perfectly attentive and funny and not pushy. We got the bread appetizer with dips, and then shared a bunch of veggie sides and the fish. So many delicious flavors combinations. All excellent.
Good food and service and great sourdough bread.
Great business meal, server knew we were on business and was not over attentive but just available when needed. Food was great and served quickly after we ordered. Would highly recommend to a friend
Love this place! Food is excellent quality and always tasty. Atmosphere is the main reason for continuing to come back, service/engagement is good not excellent though. Music for brunch is a great add on to the experience. Price is what you would expect for downtown Toronto location, not the cheapest place however worth it. Will continue to come back.
We were disappointed in the overall experience. We expected something more upscale. We requested a "quiet romantic" table. We were in fact seated in a corner which would have been fine however it was neither quiet nor romantic. Perhaps they could have responded to our request and we would have chosen another restaurant for the occasion. The food was fine and the service was good.
Dinner was good. I have been to drake 150 several times now and this was the first dinner. My dad was not particularly happy with his duck salad and my steak frites.. while tasty was not as rare as I would normally like .. I must admit to preferring brunch to dinner. I will definitely try again and hope that the meat is better. The ceviche and cocktails were delicious.
Have been to The Drake on Queen West many times over the years. This was my first trip to Drake 150. It was a first date. It was loud in the beginning, but my date and I enjoyed ourselves so much we were the last to leave, when we were the only noise!! Thanks for a Great Night Drake 150!!
It was fun. Honestly~ for the price, the food was ok but not spectacular. Overall, great service and a fun place.
We arrived and my friend whose Birthday I was treating, wanted the Patio. It was a beautiful day and I had booked the Patio - but the Drake One Fifty was in the shade. The staff were very helpful and transferred us to the Drake Mini-Bar Patio instead, which was sunny. So my review is on that location. It was perfect and my friend was very happy. We had the Gazpacho, which was unique and delicious. Lobster Rolls were gone unfortunately but we split another entree.
Will recommend highly.
Food was good. Waiter forgot to get our main course after starters for about 45 morning minutes, luckily we were not in a rush.
Has some friends visiting from out of town and had to rave right after brunch so they had to bring their luggage to the restaurant. They were able to check their luggage at the front which was greatly appreciated
We thought it was the actual restaurant of Drake lol
Great menu, lots of brunch choices with a twist. Excellent coffee, great service.
The service was horrible. The server barely came by
A late lunch. Food was good but a bit expensive.
