   Dudley's never disappoints. The food is always interesting and delicious. The atmosphere is always fun and energetic. Dudley's is more than deserving of its iconic standing in the Lexington restaurant landscape.

   Good but not great. This was our second visit to Dudley’s. The first was Sunday lunch with an expanded menu. During the first visit, food and service was very good. Unfortunately, the encore performance was disappointing. Our waiter seemed to need a bit more training. When asked if chicken-fried steak was a chicken entree, he said YES! When I blurted out, No it’s not. He was offended and said he’d check with the kitchen. KNOW what specials are! Delivery of drinks was random. Walked past our table with one drink and then returned to deliver it and inform us the other drinks were coming. Ok a little strange, but we waited patiently for all the drinks to arrive. However, we weren’t as patient when one of the entrees arrived so late that the rest of us had almost finished ours! I don’t know if the waiter forgot to turn in the order or the kitchen screwed up but the main enjoyment of going out to eat is eating TOGETHER! And the food was good but not memorable. While we didn’t complain to the waiter, he wasn’t that apologetic when he finally did bring the last entree. To add insult to poor service, the first bill was incorrect. Seems to be a popular place, but we were underwhelmed.

   We always feel it as a treat to head downtown to Dudley's. The service was excellent the Ambiance was beautiful however the meal was only subpar. We ordered the eggs benedict for brunch. It came with such a small amount of bernaise it was hardly visible. . We reqested additional sauce at what later became known as $2 per. In addition bearnaise was a thick paste and had little to no flavor. It will be a while before we return.

   Good food, good service but tables were to close for me. Had a loud talker that didn’t stop talking the entire night sitting three feet from me. Kind of put a damper on the evening.

   The food was not very good, we wondered the hot brown and pasta dish. Their hot brown is like a grilled ham and cheese sandwich nothing special, and the pasta has absolutely no flavor to it. Plain spaghetti noodles with boiled veggies and unseasoned chicken.

   Attentive and personable server and support staff. Not too much, not too little. Soup = delectable Salad = cravable Main Course = impeccably plated, prepared to perfection, moist, superbly seasoned, flavor combinations to remember. A treat for the palate . . .

    Ordered the ribeye medium and it came out rare. They took it back and cooked it to medium but the cut of steak was very tough and not all that great, regardless of temperature. Kind of pricey for the value received. Wait staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to make things right.

    Server was fantastic and so was the feel of the restaurant. The food was a little undercooked on my husbands and over cooked on mine and the food was very under seasoned. Overall was not bad just was not fantastic.

    This place is a local gem. Delicious food, innovative food as well with a classic southern twist. Appeals to all tastes. I went with my 11-year-old nephew who loved the eggs Benedict. We also tried the melon soup which had a tomato base. My nephew loved that too. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who likes good food because that’s exactly what you’ll get here.

    The service was fabulous, professional, caring, etc. Highly recommend swordfish and scallops. My husband said latter was best he ever had! It was husband's birthday, and he was given fantastic ice cream sunday to celebrate. Yummy! My only negative was that sounds carry, and when bustling with people, it is loud. We sat in back room by fireplace--lovely!.

    Dudley’s always delivers in a delightful dining experience. Parking, however, is the worst. Absolutely go valet…if that’s not open avoid the lot at all costs! The electronics work sporadically and are beyond frustrating!

    Wonderful experience. The food here never fails. The entrees are consistently good, but they really shine with the appetizers and small plates. In most restaurants, I stick with the entree and maybe a salad. Here, though, you do yourself a disservice if you skip their apps/ small plate offerings. Ask your server if you are feeling unsure. Each time, our server has known the menu and what is special. If their beet salad is on the menu, I would recommend it. (Please note, I am not generally a person who goes out of the way to order beets). Last night, we had baked goat cheese as well and it was delicious. The app asked about ambiance, which was also wonderful. It was our first time dining inside there. We love the roof patio, but weather did not permit, so we benefited from a new experience instead. We were seated in a grand room with … eclectic art. The room itself was otherwise beautifully set up with a moveable cushion offered for the booth side of the table, which made it wonderfully comfortable. The service was also great. We appreciated our server’s friendly, personable, and considerate approach. He had great recommendations as well. Recommendations: beet salad and appetizers.
